BaysideJ's Diary- one year on plan!!!!(most of the time)

Hi Bayside hope you had a great Christmas. We all had a great time, I came off plan completely (or followed about 20 plans per day, depending how you look at it lol), but back on it now.

I have my post-Christmas WI this evening, expecting to put on about 4lb but I don't mind how much it is, had a super time and no regrets.

Are you back on plan yet or staying off until after the New Year?

Got any plans for NYE? I am going to my neighbours. I will be on the vodka/diet cokes (better than beer, although I won't be counting them as syns haha), but will be trying to avoid the buffet. I've had my festive fun and don't need any more!!

All the best, and HAPPY NEW YEAR for 2010 x

well i've been way off plan for a few days, my scales say i've gained 8lbs!!!! I hope to lose half of this before wi next week. So, i've finished all the socialising and buffets for a few days and really need to get back onto plan.
Think i'll write it all down again from today. maybe, just maybe i can be 100% today- she says with too many xmas chocs etc still in the house.
Not sure about New Year's Eve, have been invited to some friends but may just have a quiet night in. Hope you are all doing better than me at the moment, how is it possible to gain so much so quickly???

I had a similar thing .... mine initially told me 9.5lb more!!

Although in fairness I didn't think that was too much considering what I had had to eat and drink haha.

I'm sure you will drop some of it again before your WI, and what's left will no doubt follow in the next week or two as well.

I was tempted to drink a lot of water tonight before I go to weigh in, making my weigh even higher than it should be - but making it easier to lose for next week lol.

Mind you, it was probably the fact I can't weigh next week that threw me off that idea.

Bad boy/clever boy. Fine line :)

Best of luck ♥

It's really scary how easy the weight can pile on. I am a coward and haven't weighed myself since just before Christmas, I feel heavier and sluggish :( BUT we will get it off again hun!!

Happy New Year and enjoy your night whatever you decide to do xx

well, 2010 is here and time to draw that line. i wasn't 100% the other day and i've been busy eating lots of cheese and chocolate and drinking wine every day etc ever since. Didn't realise how much impact it would have on my weight gain but it continues to rise. I'm seriously fed up with myself but know how this SW thing works and must do my best to get going again.

have been 100% today and will have no more than 7 syns.
Tomorrow will try hard again, i'm back to work on Monday so that should help.

thanks Mary. Have been following plan again today and feel much better for it. Not really keen on returning to work tomorrow but i'll find it easier to stay on track.

15.00, school kickout time ... did you make it out in one piece? lol

I don't know about you but I always find work days easier on SW. Must be something to do with the structure of it I guess. And of course I haven't got any cupboards filled with goodies on a train like I have at home lol.

Feeling confident for your 1st official 2010 weigh in?

thanks, i'm getting back into it again now and have been following plan 100% for 3 days now; still got the feeling of wanting to snack in the evenings after the xmas munchies but have saved all syns for something later.

I'm not at all confident for WI and will have a big gain to face up to:( However, the scales at home say i've lost 4lbs in the last 2 days so hopefully the rest will be going pretty darn quickly too:)

I will get to Target before the summer is here!!!!!!!!!!!;)

Hi hun, hope you had a good christmas and new year, well done for getting back on track!! You will get to target by summer. YOu have done so well so far xx

well another good day food wise and am feeling much better for it, still need to shift a good few pounds to get rid of my xmas gain but have lost 5 lbs in 4 days so far. That's better:) Even went for a walk on the icy paths in my wellies last night.

Hope you are all doing well

didn't make it to wi last night due to doc appt and the ongoing snow so will wait till next week for official wi. Lost another 1lb though, 6 lbs in 5 days:)

Well it's very snowy today and my school has closed today so i'm at home today. Looks great out there, such a relief to not have to drive in it, my children's school has been closed for a couple of days already.
Am pleased to say that i've manged to get back into SW really well after my major Xmas gain. I was really worried that i'd want to continue eating the foods that led to my weight problem in the first place. But actually it's a relief to be eating healthily agin. I'm beginning to wonder if i can continue without going to class each week. Not sure, but i've followed the plan mainly successfully for 9 months now. Might go for a bit longer to get new book etc, but then again i may continue there till Target- so indecisive!!
Need to go out later to pick up a prescription, so will have a walk in the snow rather than driving.
Hope you are all safe and well where you are:)

Hope you are enjoying your day off hun and WELL DONE on your loss, that is so fantastic! I must admit I am glad to be eating healthy again too. I guess some people need to go to class and others do just as well going alone but tbh if it wasn't for this forum I know I would struggle. Have a good weekend and keep warm! xx

Hi Bayside, I see you wussed out of going to WI lol, oh ok the weather stopped you ;)

I know what you mean about not needing class anymore - certainly in terms of your knowledge of the plan and drive you don't, and I really can't put into words what I mean, but class just gives you something else that going it alone fails to do. It could be the thought of having a bad WI in front of everyone and having to explain it to your SWC, maybe it's the pride of losing lots and winning SOTW awards, maybe it is both these and much more too. I would say if it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Not only that, but when you get to goal your WIs will be free, and you are such an inspiration to others around you including me :)
