That's the signal Beck...clothes getting tight..def time to get inspired, well done for owning it and deciding to sort it out. So many times I've said I'll know when to diet when clothes get tight but every time I've just moved on to the next size and ignored the problem. We'll be here for you, you can get on track and go back to school in September and surprise them all with your rocking body!! x
 
Thanks guys, the hard part today will be to ignore cake and chocolate at work! Aargh!
I got on the scales this morning as knew there would a gain and wanted to brace myself for fridays's WI. I saw 4 different results from 11.5 - 11.1. These weren't cheap scales so im finding this a little concerning. I did check a few times and sometimes they showed the same weight a couple of times in a row then just fluctuate madly! I'm going with the higher weight but hoping that when I weigh properly on Friday I get a consistent weigh!
Off to have hot water lemon and ginger to start my day!
 
When that happens I usually go with the weight the appears the most, good luck today! Ummm cake
 
Haha NO cake! I just had asparagus and poached egg for breakfast. It's in my clean and lean cook book. It was yummy but I can't see it keeping me full till 12:40! My tummy is already growling!
 
Breakfast sounds fab. Maybe some smoked salmon in future would help keep you full for longer? I know I whinged a bit about this less carbs more protein thing but I think generally it is keeping me feeling fuller on the whole.

It seems like you have a clear goal about what you are going to do come end of term so focussing on that might help at the moment. You are still posting on here and thinking about what you are eating so that's good.
 
Thanks atomic, actually wasn't too bad for hunger after all. I'm trying chorizo frittata for breakfast tomorrow.
Did have a moment (a couple of moments) of weakness with a couple of biscuits this afternoon BUT I bought all my class a cake from the school fayre and didn't have one myself and in the canteen they had my absolute favourite tiffin cake, huge slabs of it, and I didn't buy any. This was very hard! So not perfect but yesterday I'd have just had both the cakes and thought sod it!
 
Sounds like good progress there Becks! Your canteen sounds as dangerous as mine! Today I was surrounded by goats cheese lasagne and chips, pork satay kebabs and spiced plum crumble. It made my roast veg and chickpeas rather less appealing I must say. But we should both give ourselves a pat on the back for our restraint. Is it this week your school breaks up?

The canteen is pretty rubbish normally atomic, the meals are pretty much school dinner fare and I normally can just give a cursory glance at the cakes but this looked pretty special!
I find resistance much harder after being off plan for a while.
So I've arrived at the gym for first time in ages and currently on exercise bike and I brought the wrong leggings- I'm having to wear the ones I used to decorate in, splattered in paint! Feel like a right tool! Might be time to purchase some proper gym wear!

And a canteen......I wish I had one. When I have no lunch I can choose either .....wilkos.....a sandwich shop that's dirty or cooplands (which is nice enough)

I try to always take my lunch or at least have something around on standby for when I'm not organised!

Right I've just filled my new journal in to review my day and while it hasn't been perfect, it's been a big improvement!

Tuesday 17th July

Not too bad I reckon, not really counting from a weekly allowance as starting proper on Friday but just trying to get grip on things again.
 
Yesterday was bad due to lack of organisation, forgetfulness and rushed aroundness! Felt soooo fat and bloated when I went to bed last night! I did have good plans for the day but every main meal I'd planned something went wrong! And there has been a lot of cake and biscuit around! On a positive the trip went really well!
Today will be another challenge as is last day (hooray) and having a barbecue and tonight is works night out with buffet. I have a plan to try and help me with this, I hope I can stick to it. X

Enjoy the BBQ and works buffet! I think buffet food is horrible to pp as some of the smallest innocent looking foods on there are so high in pp. Maybe have a day off.....consciously take note of what you eat so you don't go overboard while at the same time enjoy yourself. I think it's important to enjoy days like that and not worry about food. Id rather have a day off and be good for rest of the week, than be grumpy with two buffet items on my plate and no cake! Lol
