Beegee's Green Day Diary

Ooh I've had a little peek at your pics - it looks good. Isn't it a scandal what a rip off it is of B&J's though - the description, the look of the tub etc, there should be a law against it!

Anyway, onto diary business. I had a very average weekend with nothing particularly note worthy happening so I shan't write everything down and bore you all rigid. I finished the week on 90 syns and am now on week 78.

B: Yogurt, plum, strawberries, grapes, banana

L: Wholewheat pasta, pasata, veg & herbs. Cheese (hexa). Yogurt (am currently ploughing through the Asda desserts ones - banoffee pie, sticky toffee pudding etc. They're ok. The black forest gateau one has chocolate in it so that's probably my fave). Chocolate (1)

D: Root vegetable casserole and brown rice. (made this by chopping up loads of sweet potato, parsnips, swede, carrots, with stock cubes, pasata and herbs. It was nice, but far nicer how I used to make it with herby dumplings on top :D)

I used to love squares when i was a kid. Damn you geletine x
 
Oh no - I love you leading us all astray and testing our will power! Thankfully those squares don't do it for me so I'm feeling strong and resolute. Utterly gobsmacked at the copycat packging though.

Tuesday:

B: Yogurt, pears, raspberries, banana, Crunchy Bran (hexb)

L: Jacket potato and beans. Satsumas. Yogurt.

Snack: Pineapple

D: Stuffed butternut squash, cous cous (1.5), cheese (hexa). Phish (5)
 
Ta for the parsnip update. What are you going to do with them?! For me you can't really beat a roast one, but I'm sure you've got far more interesting plans for them.

Today I've been in a baaaaaaaad mood. My family are annoying me, turning me into a hideous nag and taking me for granted. So, I made an utterly gratuitous bit of fry-lighted eggy bread in the middle of the day to express how peed off I was. Sausage, I blame you entirely for that as you sowed the eggy bread seed in my poor addled head last week. Still, if that's the worst I did when I felt like eating a (large) packet of custard creams I think I did pretty well!

Snack: Eggy bread (hexb), ketchup (1)

L: Savoury rice, cheese (hexa). Yogurt. Chocolate (2) (still pi**ed off)

D: Creamy pasta bake (3) (hexa).

I weighed in yesterday and had gained a pound. Boo. Don't know why. Weighed in this morning and had lost 2 pounds. Boo. I'm fluctuating all over the place again without actually losing anything much. Am I destined to never get below 80kg??! One things for sure, if I ever get anywhere near target, maintaining is nailed.

Thursday was like this:

B: Yogurt, pear, pineapple, strawberries, banana

L: Pasta and sauce, veg, cheese (hexa). Mango, grapes, satsuma

Snack: Roll (1.5 hexb)

D: Quorn steak, roast potatoes, carrots, brocolli, carrots, gravy (2). Yogurt.
1 alpen (half hexb)


Friday:

B: Pear, banana, plum, pineapple, strawberries, yogurt

L: Mugshot, ryvitas (hexb), 4x laughing cow squares (hexa), radishes, pickled onions. Yogurt. Mikado (0.5)

D: Bean chilli and rice. Alcohol free lager (1), Phish (7)

Thankfully the Phish tub is now finished. I feel as though a weight has been lifted from me! I'll pretend I don't know that there's a tub of Cherry Garcia and a Fudge Brownie in the freezer outside. They can stay there for a while I think.
 
Thanks Wise Sausage - you're totally right and I wouldn't have it any other way (bar losing 2lbs a week). This morning I was 79.something kg so I'm hopeful for thursday at the moment.

My weekend was very typical but I had to syn a bit of birthday cake (nephews 1st birthday). My sister had made Nigella's buttermilk sponge cake, lordy, the list of ingredients was a nightmare. The icing alone used 700g of butter - 700g :eek:. I truly shudder to think how many syns were in this cake, but I only had half a slice (if that) so don't feel too dire about it. My week finished on 85 syns.

Monday has been like this:

B: Beans on toast (hexb)

L: Jacket potato, homemade coleslaw (2 on salad cream), cheese (hexa), salad. Orange. Yogurt.

D: Chickpea dahl, lots of extra veg, rice.

Highlights (2), Oaty Bar (hexb)

I loooove oaty bars!!!!

How do you make your coleslaw? I chop up carrot, onion, cabbage with exta exta light mayo(thank goodness for this lol) and add paprika. It tastes better that the synful shop bought.
