Beelishy's VLCD Weight Loss Adventure!!

Just for a laugh and to see how close I was, I tried on my wedding dress. Hubs and I were talking about it a couple of weeks ago and we decided I was probably very nearly the same weight I was when we got married. Maybe around 10lbs heavier. So he said "You should try on your dress and see how it fits. That will tell you!" So i put it off, because honestly, I havent gotten my dress out since I put it away after the wedding (9 years ago!) and also, I was kinda scared.

But today, randomly, I felt like I HAD to see.

So i got it out and I tried it on and it was a little bit BIG! I was so thrilled!!!! ....

So anyway. Im chuffed to bits.

Today Ive had my 2 packs, 2 eggs and 1 babybel. Gonna have my dinner in an hour or so after hubby gets in...and i still have about 1L of water to go, my sf jelly and a couple of coffees. Today has been a great day. I had been a bit worried that I would struggle today after having cake (yanno, pure sugar and carby badness) and a (small!!) salted caramel latte at costa (!!!!) and a few chips at nandos (!!!!!) and other things. *ahem* haha. but when I think about it...it was all very small portions of bad things and i DIDNT actually eat more than one meal on those 2 days. So it kinda balanced out. This is why i maintained. Im sure of it. But the cravings are not there. Im perfectly happy and in fact was looking forward to getting back to my packs and high protein stuffs. So yay!

Havent been hungry at all today. :) Onward to thanksgiving!
 
Morning :D Its Wednesday, already? And its the 13th of November...ALREADY?! When did all tht happen? haha

Weigh in today (was perfect yesterday!) is 238.0 ....so...a bit down. Hopefully I will see a 237 (or lower! LOL) tomorrow. Im really going to hope for 235 on Sunday. I really need to get a move on if Im going to meet this goal of mine. Hmm.

Im going to coffee with a friend and my girls today. So ive already looked on the Costa website and planned it. And added it into MFP. Im having an Americano with Skimmed milk and a shot of sugar free caramel syrup. Im only having a medium (and actually, may opt for a small once I get there. Im a wimp and can only handle so much coffee when its strong.. lol. The total for that (as a medium) is only 29 cals and 6g of carbs. I can totally handle that. LOL.

Stuck to plan. WOOHOO! I was ever-so-slightly tempted by the lovely christmassy cakes and such that Costa had but I didnt bother. It wasnt worth not meeting my goal. And Ive just had loads of cake at the weekend. So Although it looked lovely and had a little drool over them...i was never going to actually have one. I didnt want to. :D Progress. I also had my americano. Next time I will just get a small one. I never finish the mediums. lol. Had a walk around the shops and then came home. Just got in around 1pm (its1:35 now) and have just had an egg and AC porridge. So today ive had my coffee, 2 eggs, a babybel and my porridge. Not sure if we should try to have a nap or not. Zoe slept in her stroller while we walked around the shops and she seems quite awake now, having her lunch and jumping around. lol. I still have a chili and my dinner to have.

A good day so far. I have a bit of a headache but i think its because i left my first pack so late. I should have really had it before we left but i didnt have time. oh well. gonna have some water and chill out for a bit. :D
 
That coffee sounds yummy! I never knew they did sugar free syrups there. I'm off to Brighton for the day on Friday and no doubt we'll stop for a caffeine fix to perk us up a bit while traipsing around the shops!! So I'll be opting for one of those!! Yum yum.

Just a meal for Thanksgiving. Pretty much a roast dinner. And Crustless, low carb pumpkin pie. So Im looking forward to it but I will also not really have anything else in the day. a couple of eggs in the morning, maybe. otherwise, just my meal and my pie and then i will have a nice happy full american tummy and hop back on plan properly the day after :D xx

Had my 2 eggs, babybel, chili and AC porridge earlier and Im having my BBQ quorn now. We slept from 3(ish) til almost 5! Eek. We were sleepy girls.

So my good friend has invited the girls and i to a coffee morning and cookie exchange at her house on the 10th of Dec. Oy! Im not going to worry about the "eating them" aspect for now. Im going to go look up a nice recipe. I need to make about 24 cookies so it needs to be a decent and semi easy and plentiful recipe. lol. Friggin holiday socialising!! Hahaha. Doesnt Santa know Im on a diet? *hmphff!!* haha It should be fun, anyway though. :)

Im feeling very much in the holiday spirit! woot!

The other day, when I sold those spicy spag packs to that local woman, she brought me a few Diet Shack packs that she doesnt care for. 1 "spicy spag bol" (which i think is going to be like spicy spag...bleh and 2 carbonara ( i didnt care much for the exante carbonara but will try this)

so Im going to try them.

I had my babybel this morning with my iron tablet and a coffee. Im going to stick to plan today with the extra pack and see how i get on.
 
Eh. i didnt end up having another pack so I had an egg and will have to have another one (plus my quorn for dinner) at some point. Its almost 4pm and we havent been up long from our nap. lol. I kinda didnt want to sleep but i did. I guess I needed it. So hubby will be home in about an hour and then I will crack on with making dinner. For now, Im going to have my last litre of water for the day.

feeling a bit frustrated and a bit down. im not going to give in but i just get frustrated when i dont have much progress for a while. and i know i was naughty at the weekend BUT i wasnt that bad as i had the cake in lieu of anything else and it wasnt much cake at all. i actually did put it into MFP to keep my carbs low. anyway. trying to stay positive. but i just get annoyed when i dont lose much on the weeks when im not expecting totm. the week before of week of, i rarely show a loss so the other couple of weeks in the month, i need to be losing at least 2-3lbs...at least. Anyway. blah. chip, chip, chip away at it.

Right. I dug out an old Leslie Sansone Walk Away the Pounds DVD and Ive done a 20 minute work out. Im going to try to do this daily. Its not vigorous or over the top at all but boy can I feel it in my muscles. :D

So far today Ive had AC porridge and an egg.

Feeling really good and really positive about everything today. lol. :D

Tomorrow is official WI and I was rather convinced that I was probably gonna have a bit of a gain today after my little work out yesterday....

NOPE!

235.2!! GET IN!!!! That was my original Thanksgiving goal. So really...as long as Im this weight or under for the 28th....I will be very pleased indeed. Of course Im going to keep going and try to get off as much as I can in the next....12 days (!!!! 12 days til PIE! hahaha) But I feel so accomplished. And it felt GREAT to have a bit of a workout today! Im looking forward to it today! :D Me, enjoying a bit of exercise? Who'da thunk it! lol

Yes tomorrow is official WI. I squee'd quite a lot this morning. I got quite a few sidways looks from my girls and once they realised the bizarre noise coming from mom wasnt anything sinister, they both giggled at me. A lot. lol

Im excited for tomorrow. But even if, for whatever reason, I happen to go up a bit tomorrow (ive been spot on but my body does that sometimes. lol) I know that ive been 235.2 and can get back there. so not worried about it at all.

i would love to see 234 tomorrow but ive done my work out 2 days in a row now and my muscles feel like theyve been worked a bit. so i may be retaining fluid. im happy either way, because i feel great :D
 
Morning!

WI results - 235.0 (lol) - 2lbs off for the week :) so 5lbs to goal and Ive got 11 days to do it. Going to the Metro Centre again tomorrow with a friend (child free shopping. YAY!) because i desperately need to be measured for a bra. Never been measured before and my current ones just are huge. lol. So going to Debenhams for that. And Im sure she will want to go to lunch. So I will make healthy choices and adjust my packs/intake tomorrow as necessary. :)

Off to tesco to go grocery shopping. Oh, fun. LOL. My baby is too big for the trolley now so she will walk with me today. Eek!

Right. need to work out, have breakfast, get dressed, get tabby dressed..and go!
