have you made your decision about what you want to do yet tyn? it's bloody hard to start with on cd but after the first week you're sailing. and the good news is the more you've got to lose the faster you lose it to start off with, so we all get off to a good start :D

I think i have, yea. Just finished reading IceMoose blog, and its shown me just what it can do if you stick to it. I think losing 7stone in 4 months is the only way i can do it. My impatience will stop me doing the more common diets (like WW and SW). I really, really wish i could do them diets, but they just wont work, shame really.

I am going to ring Bev in a bit, and talk to her about it (She said i could, isn't she a complete darling!) and get some proper advice from her, and then, when i have got a job, and can afford the weekly packs, i am signing up.

I read how hard the first weeks are, and i just hope i am strong enough to get passed them!

I know Elle, he is a complete Legend! I am going to email him i think.
 
good plan :) although seven stones in 4 months is unusually high, ha. but what you have on your side is that you are a man and you guys always lose weight faster than us (damn you!!) so you never know. but yeah. awful at first but since you are at home and not working you should breeze through :)

I do have a question for you Abz my darling. What would the effects of going to the gym alot have on the CD? My main concern is the extra skin afterwords (Vain gay guy!) But i figured, if i hit the gym afer about a month of starting, then i can start building up muscle and stuff instead. And no, i don't want me be muscles from brussel, just a hawt peice of @$$! lol
 
yeeeeeeah lol people tell me that quite often. ah well, i enjoy myself at least. i have issues with extra skin on me boobs cos they used to be HH cup, it's bloomin gross so i dont blame ya, it's hardly over-vain. I dont know whether gym can help, maybe ask bev? i, meanwhile, am going to lose my weight and then get surgery to sort my boobs out so i can have the body that i want. woop!
 
well to begin with it would be a big no no as energy levels are naff the first couple of weeks, ha. but there's no reason that after your body gets used to things you couldn't start going to the gym. you wouldn't be able to do mega workouts though. at least not initially because we are only on between 450 and 600 kcals a day which isn't enough to lose weight and gain muscle mass. best thing to do i would think is concentrate on getting the weight off to begin with and start thinking about the muscle stuff when you get closer to goal. no reason why you can't keep up the situps and doing pushups and things, but think a full workout would be a bit hard!! and like i say, the muscle you'd gain probably wouldn't be massive anyways... as far as i know... but then i've only been doing it 8 days :D talk to your cdc about it when you find one. have you found one yet?

You can have some of my moobs if you want Smelly! lol. And yea, i will have to think of a really big reward for when i am down to goal weight, something REALLY big to work towards, maybe a holiday in Canada... That would be a dream.

Martyn, out of interest, have you checked out what your ideal weight is - as in the weight that would bring you within a good range in your bmi?

My 'normal' weight band is 12-14stone. I wanna get to 14 and see if i need to lose more. So i need to lose about 8-9 stone to be there.
 
ha. i can identify with that one. i'm a danger to man and womankind!! and, AND, i have to wear a strapless dress WITH NO BRA as maid of honour in a couple of weeks. thank god it's tight. well, it's getting looser, a bra may be necessary after another fortnight!!

aaaaargh dont mention no-bra dresses. i can't even imagine ever getting into one of them unless theres some sort of inbuilt structural system within the dress that can hold up my bazookas, some sort of mini metal scaffolding methinks :p lol
