Blergh! - FatFairNForty(ish) - my diary

Hee hee... bra lady just left - I cannot believe it - I'm now the proud wearer of a size 36 E bra!!! It fits like a glove and I love it! It isn't the red one- she's chasing that one up , PLUS, she's getting me a black one too - so I shall be all kitted out before next Weds! How fab is that!!!

She GAVE me the bra I am wearing - I can't believe it - she told me she was so impressed with how well I've done that it was her treat and that I'm a very wonderful customer who's had lots of bras from her, and brought my friends in too... so she wanted to treat me to it! I was chuffed to bits!

Fingers crossed that the new red and black bras will be ready for me this time next week :D (she lives about 3 roads away from me and will probably call in with them!) She also gave me some brilliant career advise which I'm going to follow up!

Simply cannot believe I am a 36 E!!

For decades I worn 46DD's.... when Ailsa measured me on that first night my bust was 56 inches... this is incredible.

My boobs have almost disappeared! (hopefully NHS will improve what's left of them at some time in future!)

LOVE my new skin tone bra... feels wicked! lol

My bra lady is Quality Designer Lingerie from Louise's Boutique Limited, secure on-line shopping. and her new shop in Wellingborough is where I took Pandora and Westiegirl... but they also sell online. I have to say, Ailsa recommended them to me way back and I am so glad she did! I would still be in those rotten old "Doreen"s to this day!

Happy days! :D Off to work now to send home some work to do and pick up a few bits so that tomorrow I can steam into some essential stuff and email it back for printing, then Thursday I'm going to go in and print loads off and Friday will probably stay home and do more work before going out late evening to fetch Zoe home.

Did I say? She sent me a text to say she had a fantastic morning! She made biscuits, cookies and brioche and this evening is making marble cake! She's enjoying it so far!

goodness me hun, i'm flippin exhausted just reading that, back to usual "busy busy Jen".
Glad you have sorted out things with boss 2, all be it not how you thought it would pan out but still a satisfactory outcome me thinks.
how wonderful about 36 boobies !! a new bra is so invigorating isn't it.
was that the "ponsy " neighbour with the personal plate eh ? up his a*se eh ;)
glad your fence got done tho, at least you can go away knowing your property is safe now.
take it easy on the work front, i know you need a bit of stimulation but just don't overdo it
xxxx:)

Have been away since last Thursday and the first thing I do is read your diary Jenny.

It is lovely to hear you being so positive and I love your new avatar. It is amazing.

love Pam x

well, I am a right numpty!

I went to work (job 1) and emailed home the work -BUT... being a clever-wotsit I setup an email rule to forward all messages here to home.. prob is... it started to send them from 2004!!!! I couldn't stop it so crashed the pc... rebooted... and now Outlook Express at work doesn't work it just freezes! Nightmare!! I rebooted 4 times and in the end texted S for help - bless him he is on the M11 heading home (what a nightmare day HE has had!) and couldn't help me... so... I've switched it all off and decided to be an ostrich until the morning!

Was merrily chatting to S about his day when phone died! plugged in the brand new in car charger - dead! So... methinks its the actual CAR that is the problem NOT the charger as OLD phone charger suddenly stopped working some time ago... so... FIRST job tomorrow.... car to dealers and ask to check the socket thingy doobrie wotsit so I can have mobby charging in car! Poor S, it cut him off mid-sentence, he called right back and I quickly explained and we agreed that I'll let him know when phone is charged and ready! So, plugged in now... will let him drive home in peace and quiet (i.e. NOT my waffling, lol) and will call him in about half an hour to let him know it's ok to chat again.

Am SO cross about the email thing as I've set up rules loads of times without any problems.. just muppetry on a grand scale this time! Might even have to ring up Microsoft - YUK - THAT costs money!!! Oh well... after taking car to dealer I think I'll go into office and see if I can fix the damage! Brought home some work which I might sit and do now for half an hour, but to be honest, am feeling a bit tired so might just sit and have some soup and prepare for an early night. It's been a busy day physically and emotionally... dog needs walking though.. and it isn't raining... hm.. still light outside too... nah... still tired so perhaps time to stop for today eh?

LOL Cheryl, no, not the one with the personalised plates (although 2 of my neighbours have those doncha know! lol).. the one tucked in the corner who, when he heard about the millenium bug, built a water storage tank in their back garden as he thought the water supply was somehow going to stop!.. lol)... I just wish he had come and talked to me straight away, but it's ok as I apologised and gave him the money - OH POO! I forgot to get the cash out for the fence man !! ARGH!!!!

Hi Pam, welcome back! thanks for the comments, glad I'm more positive otherwise you might've been hunting down the gillettes in the local shop! ;) Hope you had a good week away (whatever you were doing) :D

Lol Sonkie - yeah... sorry... :)

Reading your diary takes me sooo long Jenni - especially when i've been away for a few days!! Nice to catch up - and bra's sound fantastic!!

Hi Jenny

I have been out to Portugal to sign the promissory contract on a house we have fallen in love with. Feeling very tired now as we did not get home till 1am this morning but will post a thread with more details tomorrow. DH had to get up for work at 6.30 this morning so it is time for bed

Hi Jennie just caught up with your thread think im off to bed now sooo exhausting !!!!

lol well, I'm off to bed now too.

Just had a lovely chat with S and am going to let the dog out, climb the wooden hill to bedfordshire.. lol... insert ear plugs and drift away to a caribbean paradise in me new bra.. :rotflmao: just kidding... "Swing Low" takes on a whole new meaning when these babies are 'released'! :giggle:

Congratulations! you have just won

Well... (big deep intake of breath..)... today has been a funny old day full of ups and downs .... hope you're comfy coz I have a feeling this could be another of my very dull dronings! lol

Never, never ever dull. I've said it before,& so have others, you have plenty of others.
several reasons for this..a couple being
1. your life is full to bursting with the energy & activity you generate.
2. you have a knack of making interesting reading. with your style I'd happily read about how you filled the washing machine.(& that, my dear is a compliment in case you came over with selective blindness)

Firstly let me backtrack to last night... S was NOT fobbing me off, = Excellent. well not for lad but YKWIM.
Sareh...... Also, a lad she's been 'seeing' has gone awol so she's upset about that.. plus.. she has money problems whilst her peers all have wealthy families who pay their rent for them...

I feel so inadequate at times. .Yup . About as as inadequate as a tornado. You know jolly well that there's more to being a wonderful caring mother than being able to stump up the rent. Yuor Daughter knows too.

So that was last night.

My baby is all grown up and gone now. I am so proud of her. Proud of each other..

Edward (my step dad) didn't know who I was, even when told, he simply couldn't place me at all. It's heart breaking. I told him I'd see him again next week, but I know that within 1 minute he will have forgotten I ever went. He's dementing?
Poor ou,poor him .poor Mother. As a disease process it was well designed to cause maximum misery over the widest area.
(I'm SO crap at navigation! Perhaps one of these sat nav things might save me some time and fuel!... nah... more fun this way!).Good for you. I generally navigat by my nose.Sometimes I peer at the map try & memorise it & then set off my own way anyway. Life with GPS..yuk!.Migth as well have an electrode inserted directly into your brain & live as an automotan with your activities commanded by big brother.

he described this poor chap as "shorter than me (not hard as Si is about 6 ft 4) and skinny, shy and quiet but drives a merc and a big black motorbike and is minted" .
Man think. "I'm impressed by big carsso she's bound to be too!"

Si's never going to win awards on Blind Date for descriptions now is he?? lol Isn't it odd what men think is important to women (car etc).. I couldn't give a flying fig WHAT anyone drives/rides! Nor how much they have in the bank! (and told him so!)
Ah sorry hadn't read that para when I did my li'l tub thump.
Ju proves that you're immune to the size-of-motor-representing-size-of-dong school of thought.
(Q: am I allowed to say Dong on here?)

In any case, it's all irrelevant as I'm NOT interested and am concentrating on S. :)Quite right

Boss from Job2. He also said that they would give me glowing references too. So, it was a really odd discussion. Not wholly appropriate (I don't think) to call someone up who's signed off and tell them - basically - that when they come back of holiday there's no job for them... but hey. He only beat me by 24 hours! lol So, no real damage done and this way it is an amicable parting of the ways and no damage to my reputation nor theirs.Pillock!. also he could, if you were so inclined have left himself open to a claim for 'constructive dismissal' on top of his illegal refusal to allow you to self certfy for the 1st 7 days. good riddance I reckon.
( I am allowed to say pillock aren't i?)

Just then the chap who was supposed to come and fix my fence on Saturday showed up! Hurrah! Fence is fixed , garden secure! Just needs a coat of cuprinol and it should last ages! Hurrah

Deleted bit about Grouchy Neighbour.I know why you did what you did & a small sacrifice in exchange for amicable cross fence relations is a bargain. Nevertheless he's still a petty minded bore.
Then I did something that shocked me, I opened the fridge and ate some of that damned chicken korma! Only 1/4 of it, the rest went to the dog. So, an extra 200 cals have been taken in... but no more! I have cleared out the fridge, gave the fencing man the bag of fruit sitting in the cupboard that Zoe forgot to take and have NOTHING snacky or instant in the house now apart from CD packs & bars!
& did you go out & tell Neighbour that his behavoiur directly resulted in an inconvenience to you? of course you didn't, because you are more grown up than he is.

I feel loads better for having DONE something today, although am feeling tired again. So now uo sit down & relax.
...and if you don't DR Dotty will be on your case again

Bra lady just rang - she's on her way! Yippeee!! New red bra for me! Hurrah! lol and JUST in time for hols! :D :D :D=fAB

Well... I know it's been a long one today, but hey... why use 2 words when 45 will suffice! ;)

Hee hee... bra lady just left - I cannot believe it - I'm now the proud wearer of a size 36 E bra!!! How fab is that!!!....Pretty Darn Fab.

She GAVE me the bra I am wearing - I can't believe it - she told me she was so impressed with how well I've done that it was her treat and that I'm a very wonderful customer who's had lots of bras from her, and brought my friends in too... so she wanted to treat me to it! I was chuffed to bits!I like that a good deed & good business all in one act!!!

She also gave me some brilliant career advise which I'm going to follow up! Please Jennie...beans want to be spilled.pretty please.

Simply cannot believe I am a 36 E!! ...that's because you soon won't be...it'll be 36D before the elastic can stretch.

My boobs have almost disappeared! (hopefully NHS will improve what's left of them at some time in future!)Lets hope so.I'm amazed at how little Im upset by the shrivelling of what was once a proud an alluring cleavage, but then I'm quite a bit older than you & they've done their job ( make H happy & feed 4 babies) so can retire into obscurity;)

I would still be in those rotten old "Doreen"s to this day!

What on earth is a Doreen? I did wonder if the poor woman was large & you'd borrowed her bra's in an emergency..but I doubt it.

Did I say? She sent me a text to say she had a fantastic morning! She made biscuits, cookies and brioche and this evening is making marble cake! She's enjoying it so far!
Well done Zoe. It's just a shame she hasn't chosen to specialise in low fat low carb foods!

Keep it up Jen. You're on the mend & life is improving.

Jen hows your hectic life going ??

lollollol

Oh Jenny what with your lovely writing style which is always so descriptive and then Janes replies I have been sitting here having a good giggle.

Your diary is worth its weight in gold.

Hope you have a good day. MIne is being spent loading and unloading the washing machine. Who would think that so much washing could amass in just 5 days.

Congratulations! you have just won

oooh, what did I win?? lol or do you mean Karen?? ;)

I feel so inadequate at times. .Yup . About as as inadequate as a tornado. You know jolly well that there's more to being a wonderful caring mother than being able to stump up the rent. Yuor Daughter knows too.
I know, and I know she does, just sometimes I wish I could do more for her ... ya know?

Edward (my step dad) didn't know who I was, even when told, he simply couldn't place me at all. It's heart breaking. I told him I'd see him again next week, but I know that within 1 minute he will have forgotten I ever went. He's dementing?

Yes, he has Alzheimers, no short term memory at all, incredible long term though - can recount his wartime prisoner of war tales til the cows come home!

Poor ou,poor him .poor Mother. As a disease process it was well designed to cause maximum misery over the widest area.

You aren't wrong there... more poor mum than anyone else though as he has no idea he is like it for the most part and I don't live it day in day out... she did look very old yesterday... :(

I generally navigat by my nose.Sometimes I peer at the map try & memorise it & then set off my own way anyway. Life with GPS..yuk!.Migth as well have an electrode inserted directly into your brain & live as an automotan with your activities commanded by big brother.

Lol, I explained my navigational skills to my nana one day as.. 'every journey is and adventure nana! I've discovered loads of ace places in my travels' (sad thing is I can never remember how to get back to them! :rotflmao:

Ju proves that you're immune to the size-of-motor-representing-size-of-dong school of thought.
(Q: am I allowed to say Dong on here?)
LOL yeah.. lol ;)

Boss from Job2. He also said that they would give me glowing references too. So, it was a really odd discussion. He's just not a really good manager, more at home with numbers than people I think. He and his wife are good people really. Honest, and fabulous at customer service and quality.

Still, I sent resignation letter and scanned cert to him by email last night and put in letter a thank you for offering to pay me 10 days money in lieu of notice in addition to the outstanding sick pay. LOL I wonder if he will do that? I bet he will call me first.. lol He didn't actually say precisely that, but he said something pretty similar.. and I think my letter (which raves about them as a wonderful employer etc etc ) might just swing the financial pendulum my way this time - well, as I see it, nothing ventured nothing gained! Akin to 'of you don't ask you don't get'! :D

Oh, and S said the same thing about 'Constructive Dismissal' and was stunned that I had just 'given up' without a fight, but then, he IS an accountant type bod and has spat his dummy out with someone this morning so not in a particularly charitable mood towards those with financial clout! lol

Deleted bit about Grouchy Neighbour.I know why you did what you did & a small sacrifice in exchange for amicable cross fence relations is a bargain. Nevertheless he's still a petty minded bore. Hee hee - you are far kinder than me calling him that.. lolol I can't say what I called him !! lol
Then I did something that shocked me, I opened the fridge and ate some of that damned chicken korma! Only 1/4 of it, the rest went to the dog. So, an extra 200 cals have been taken in... but no more! :rotflmao: NO! It's not his fault I ate Korma! lol

Just thought... bad karma=good korma? hee hee hee

I feel loads better for having DONE something today, although am feeling tired again. So now uo sit down & relax. ...and if you don't DR Dotty will be on your case again ROFL., Lordy you are SO right - and I didn't do much after :D

Ok, she has often told me that I should go into recruitment as she believes I would be perfect at it, basically she says all you need to be able to do is to talk to people and have confidence! lol She was in recruitment for years and started on a basic salary which is just affordable for me to do, and with commission she made double what I need to live on!

So, I may just get suited and booted and on Friday pay a visit to a few recruitment agencies and see what their response is. In fact, I'm going to ring one this afternoon that she specifically mentioned. Nothing ventured etc etc etc...

I still need mine! (not for the feeding of babies - been there, done that - but y'know... for um, other reasons.. ) and they are rapidly vanishing! lol

What on earth is a Doreen? I did wonder if the poor woman was large & you'd borrowed her bra's in an emergency..but I doubt it.

:rotflmao: They are a style of bra that 'Triumph' do. VERY firm control! lol Not pretty but practical!

Well done Zoe. It's just a shame she hasn't chosen to specialise in low fat low carb foods!

I tried calling her last night but she was on the phone - no doubt to her fella, so I texted her and she said she'd had a really brilliant day and was facing her first night alone.. :( Wobbly chin moment when I read that, but decided not to respond as I'd already told her I was going to sleep. Sometimes it's best not to get into things at the very end of the day...

I have procrastinated all morning and MUST do some work! Mind you - I've sorted Zoe's car battery out.. will drone on about that later... needless to say - just add "Mechanic" to my list of jobs!!! lol

Jen hows your hectic life going ??

Still hectic but not very productive! lol Will waffle on in after I get these flamin meeting minutes and agendas done - that will be my 'reward' lol... to come back on here and mumble incoherently for a while! lol

lollollol Oh Jenny what with your lovely writing style which is always so descriptive and then Janes replies I have been sitting here having a good giggle.

lol Pam, glad it made you giggle.. having a great day! Am in a really upbeat mood and listening to loud music whilst (supposedly) doing some work.. lol Oh yes.. 5 days can amass an entire army load of washing! lol I know - I just peeked into Zoe's room! lololol Hmm.. might just tidy that up (again) for her return Friday night... another avoidance technique! lol

Just heard the rubber chicken song on the music channel!! OMG!! I'd forgotten how funny it was and how irritating! lol Texted S about it and he rang me for a quick chat and we both ended up laughing.. lol His day is really poo! At least he's enjoying my texts, lol.. Oh I want to see him! lol

I sort of suggested seeing him this evening, but only so far as,... 'what are you up to tonight',... lol.. he retreated into 'I can't think that far ahead' mode so I dropped it pronto. lol

It's cool if he is too stressed, tired etc.. I can live with the phone calls and texts for now :D

Gosh Jane - you must be right! I AM on the mend! Yippee! lol
