That should have read - frightening THE poo out of me! lol
Very briefly - honest injun!
- this afternoon I was sitting in study and someone walked past the window and scared the poo out of me! Why? Coz window faces the side of my house and they had to come through my side gate to go past!!! It was the fencing folk come for their cash! lol So, heart rate back to normal, them paid, all happy.
Cars - I went to get the mileage off Zoe's car so I could pay her road tax (expires tomorrow) and clicked the alarm off and it made this horrendous wailing noise so I got in and turned the key in the ignition to find the battery was dead as a dodo! Alarm kept whittering on irritatingly as I searched for spanners, pliers and anything really I could use to release the battery! It was raining and I got filthy and was cursing said battery in rather nasty expletives!!
Finally lost my temper and simply prised the connections off! Whipped battery into house where it has been sitting charging up all day! Am SO glad I kept the fandabbydozy battery charger when ex buggered off with his piece.. lol I just have to summon up the energy and the tools to replace and reconnect and HOPE the alarm/immobiliser doesn't have another hissy fit when it goes 'live' again! lol
Sent that email to S, then went to the loo and texted him... lol.. (always text when on loo - lol) lololol he rang! lol I think he must have read the email as he seemed a lot more cheerful and hadn't left yet for his fish and chips! So.. loo bit done with I took dog for a stomp (wearing my new waterproof and windproof jacket) and was flippin glad too! I bumped into the guy who sings at the pub (remember, the one who makes me go bright red!?) and he told me he's on again Friday night - shame I won't be there, lol.. will be fetching Zoe home.
She rang - she's loving it. I'm so pleased.
Then it started raining! Well, no probs for me and my jacket! lol Up went the hood, a quicker pace and dog smartly walked home! lol
So. Battery now then WILL do these flipping minutes for work so I can take them in tomorrow and print them out and shove em in post - major job as LOADS of recipients!! Still, will be a big pre-holiday job crossed off list and tomorrow IS Thursday! yikes! lol
OOOOH... just think! THIS time next week I will be at my mum's, unable to sleep as we leave at 5am the following morning! The dog will be at the kennels, Zoe back at her job with ALL her worldy goods! (She's cheesed off with the telly in her room as it has no scart and she took her play station! lololol) Bless!
Right - am gonna shut up and sod off now until bedtime or, if get right into work mode, perhaps the morning!
Forgot to weigh meself on home scales again - oh well! Will try and remember tomorrow.
Been a good day SS wise - NO extras, just 1 soup and 2 choc mint muffins... feel good about that
AND I feel good about job 2 definitely biting the dust, AND I feel good about being at peace about S this week, AND I know that I will sit and talk to him face to face before I go away and tell him I want to know what to expect when I get home (i.e. am I going to see Genesis with him on July 8th or not. If not, I'd rather know before I go! lol ) I think we ARE still an item and so will not push him on that front... definitely haven't seen one another enough but that's been circumstances and timing more than by design I think and certainly communications have been very very good today! lol loads of giggles and good stuff.
All in all, not a bad day! (Glitch with muppet ex-boss aside.. lol) Bless him, I'm sure he thought he wasn't doing anything wrong,. lol and they ARE great people and good people too and fab caterers! I would definitely recommend them! lol (but perhaps not as employers)..
