OOOh not long now to go until my holiday and boy do i need it!!!!
Having a warm strawberry CD for brekkie. Wonder how that will taste? Hope it's nice. :)

Managed ok Yesterday and am looking forward to weighing in next week.
Hoping to be as close to 11st 7lb as possible.

Busy day today as i'm spending day with DH. Weekends are tough for me and I am feeling strange today because of TOTM. WIll be fine though and am gonna do this!!!!!!

Hello!!!

Have had a really nice weekend, spent the day with DH on Saturday. Went to footy and then watched a film in the evening. Was lovely to spend time together as we had been apart all week!
Sunday was good. Went to church as usual in the morning and then went on a long hack with my horse. I was quite nervous but had a lovely time. Then it was my brothers birthday party in the evening. My mum just cooked a roast dinner and made trifle so i didnt have to cope with resisting a buffet which was good!!!

Half term this week but it will not stop my journey. Have done well with CD so far and am looking forward to getting on the scales on Friday.
It is exactly 2 weeks to my holiday and if I weigh 11st 7lbs by then i'll be over the moon.
 
You can do it for centre parks, glad your weekend went well, hope this week is ok, its always hard when the kids are off, too many temptations!!!

As you know i have been struggling for a while. Nibbling has been a part of every day life for a while and although i've had some good days - They are getting fewer and farther between the bady days. so.... I have come to a huge decision. I am moving up to CD 1000 for the rest of my journey.

I cant go on trying to SS. My mind isnt in the right place anymore and everyday i nibble it just gets harder and harder to get back on the wagon. I think it is better to move up to a higher plan than keep struggling.
So I am going to Weigh myself tomorrow. That will be my new weigh in day and this will be something i keep doing until i get to that elusive 10 stone.

To keep me on track I am going to use my diary as a food diary too. I want to eat very healthy food to make up my 1000 calories. I am going shopping later on so am off now to plan my meals for the next week!
 
So each day I can have:

2 Cambridge meals
150 kcal breakfast or 150 kcal of fruit
3tbsp salad from 'white & green' vegetables listed in Step 2
1 main meal from the protein choices listed in Step 2
1 portion of carbohydrate from:
1.5oz (40g) wholewheat pasta
1.5oz (40g) noodles
1.5oz (40g) rice
6oz (150g) boiled or baked potato
50cal fruit dessert
0.5 pint (235ml) skimmed milk

2tbsp 'white or green' vegetables (cooked or raw) such as spring greens, cauliflower, lettuce, mushrooms, cabbage, marrow, broccoli, celery, cress, courgettes or cucumber.

Protein choices : 6oz (150g) portion of poultry meat (without skin or fat)
8oz (250g) portion of white fish
8oz (250g) quorn or tofu
8oz (250g) skimmed milk cottage cheese

Have found some of my favourite fruits calorific values. All are for 100g.

Apple - 47
Banana - 95
Grapes - 60
Kiwi - 49
Melon - 24
Orange - 37
Pear - 40
Satsuma - 36
Strawberries - 25
 
Oooh, we are mirroring each other again - I start Management on Thursday for exactly the same reasons as you - I am nibbling more and more and can't see the point in continuing that way - it makes me feel very negative rather than positive and focussing on the great success WE have had.

I look forward to seeing how you go and remember I am right there with you!

To be honest it's you who has given me the courage to make a change.
I have been getting so down about nibbling and when i replied to your diary thread i thought ' hang on a minute - you should be saying this to yourself!!!
I am feeling so much better now the decision has been made and feel that enthusiasm again like I did when I first started CD!
 
Feel like i've had a really busy day.

Been horse riding this morning - had all 3 kids with me as it's school holidays so had to do a bit of creative thinking to keep them occupied while i rode. Luckily they are very good kids!!

Have been to the supermarket for my food to start CD1000. Going to do that and 790 for a few days.
Am finding what i can and can't have to be a bit complicated after not having to think about what I can eat for 3 months!
790 seems a lot easier as the choices are a bit more limited so I will start with that and see how i go. Then when i get a bit more confident i will go onto 1000. Am already starting to get recipes sorted out - am posting them on the recipe thread if anyone wants to look or add any!

So tomorrow I will have 3 cambridge diet packs
1/2 pint skimmed milk
3 tablespoons veg/ salad
1 protein choice
and 4 pints of water. (minimum!)

OMG I will be stuffed!!!!!! Roll on tomorrow!!!!!! :D

I think your right to go this way as it will give you more control and your food diary already is brill...I will be using this for guidance out here.

Sounds like you've made a very good choice for you.
I'll definitely be looking in for 790/1000 calorie recipe inspiration
(and to live vicariously through hearing about people eating actual food!)

Had a fab day and feel absolutely full to bursting!!!!

Have done 790 today.

Had a strawberry shake, choc mint muffin and a hot banana.
Also had turkey and broccoli and 4 litres of water!!!!

Am just drinking my 1/2 pint of skimmed milk now. Such a nice change to water!!! It tastes really nice which amazes me as I used to hate skimmed milk before CD!!

Got on the scales today and I weigh 11st 11lbs. Really pleased with that and know it's because i have managed a few good days before starting 790. Slightly worried i'll put weight on now i'm eating a bit more so I am avoiding the scales for the next week and wont get weighed again until next wednesday.
 
Have been thinking a lot again - Fatal mistake. LOL :D

I have done 790 for the past couple of days and have managed fine - no nibbling no cheating whatsoever. It has helped get my enthusiasm for CD back and I have decided to give CD SS one last final try.

I know it is probably sensible to keep doing 790 or 1000 but hey i've never been known for being sensible anyway. ;)

So today is the first day of my Final Attempt. If I cant manage SSing then i'll go back to 790 but i really need to try this one last time.

Wish me luck and a whole heap of will power!!!!!!

Do you know it is so hard to let go of abstinenence isn't it?

I am convinced my over indulgence this week is because my rebellious child knew that if I was out of ketosis then I wouldn't be able to start Management (properly) and therefore the comfy blanket of ketosis will be left behind.

I genuinely think I tried to sabatage this so that I would have no choice other than to carry on with the shakes (oh and I succeeded there as well).

Now though I am determined not to let the rebellious child win, I have come too far for that, so I am going hell for leather to try to get myself back into it so that I can start to reintroduce food slowly.

Good luck with this last attempt at SSing but also look at how much you have achieved with 790 and if you can't get back into abstinence then be proud of your achievement of still having just 790 calories a day which is bound to shift weight and quickly!

Well yep -here i do go again and to be honest I dont care what anyone else thinks. :) I may have messed about --- ok I have definately messed about but I am still here. Still trying and keeping at it - something for me to be proud of for sure!!

Today is going well. I have had a litre of water and a pack and feel fine.
Have seen a super sexy top that i want so have decided to order it... in a 12! Have cut out the picture of it and have stuck it in my kitchen for motivation!!

This is a good day - i love it when it's easy!!!!!
