Will and I are practically intimate, wahoo!! TOTM appeared this am so I'm really proud of myself for having just about held onto the diet this week. Weight was still 11st 8lb this morning but I'm hoping that I'll drop by morning as I'm pretty sure I was retaining fluid.
Work was ok yesterday, fairly steady but I can feel the Christmas slow down is upon us, not many places on the high street take a dip in sales at Christmas but opticians do. Caught up with my admin on Friday, I love getting up to date. I have to take back my complaints about overtime too, cos my bossman sent me home 2 hours early on Friday to make up some of the time I'd spent working at home on my day off. I guess he does notice the extra that I do after all.
DH took the kids out today they went to see Casino Royale followed by a trip to Pizza Hut. I went Christmas shopping with my girlfriends, hubby took my friends son to the cinema too, so she could come out to play!!!! Ah bless him he can be very thoughtful. Got some more bits and pieces sorted. Definitely going to put a Christmas film on tomorrow night and write my cards.
So excited about next weekend, cos it's Christmas!!!! It will be in our little world anyhow
7 of us, including Tpott, Hellybelly and Supergran are off down the coast a bit. We've hired a Lodge in Shorefield Holiday Centre, Fri-Mon for the princely sum of £25 each. We've been before and it's lovely, nice pool, jacuzzi, gym etc. A spa with treatments to die for and lovely walks along the coast.
This time we're making it Turkey and Tinsel We're even taking a tree and lights! We're going to play games and watch Christmas DVD's and read rubbishy magazines and gossip and probably eat too much cos yes we're coming off our diets and even cooking a turkey!!! I can't wait. Last time when we went we all SSed and I remember sitting in the carvery salivating at the roast beef and yorkies going passed while I sipped my soda water!
Anyhow I've waffled enough, hope you're all ok. Off to watch Lost now.
