Cheb....Too old to get home with the Dawn Chorus!

I took the top back, felt soooo guilty, didn't stop me though:D

I picked up the sale one and another that I liked too, put them in a basket, wandered about for a bit looking furtive before going to the till point for a refund. I stashed the basket by my feet so the sales assistant didn't notice it anyhow but had she have done I was already to tell her that those items were my friends purchases that I was holding and she was paying for them on her store card; oh what a web of lies! Anyhow she didn't notice and although I could have had cash according to the stores' returns policy I offered to have a giftcard instead. I then gathered up my shopping bags and the basket and headed off for another browse before paying for them on a different floor with the giftcard. Blimey, I'm sure they couldn't really care less anyhow, but it felt wrong to me! Still managed to push those guilty feelings away when I admired my TWO new tops:D

Have stuck to SSing today, just had my 3rd pack and feel lbs lighter already:) Just have to repeat it again tomorrow....and the next day....and the.....

Let's just say I may hold onto Will a bit longer than originally planned - cutting back to AAM from 'Ave A Meal' is harder than I thought, and want to be back to SS by Tuesday :( Well done getting on the scales and facing it - I ain't going on them til next Sunday at the earliest

morning ladies :D

Loving the furtive transactions.. lol.. well, 2 tops ARE better than one!

Sounds like Will is paying you loads of attention, sharing him eh... ? He's a bit of a gigolo isn't he! ;)

Glad you can feel those lbs falling away already , and yeah, you will do it again.. only 29lbs to go! WOW.. that's brill! How fab are you gonna feel when you go to Dubai!!

DQ - hope you're feeling better and that cold is going! :)

Morning

Stepped on the scales this morning........3lb off:D I'll be dashing off to change my ticker, back in a mo!

Have realised that last January I had my official WI and I was 11st13lb. I'm 6lb above that now and it's not January quite yet. I guess that means that basically although I've not hit target and I've had some ups and downs, I have actually maintained for a year. Ooh there's a positive slant on things:D

Didn't get up til 10am today that was an hour after we had a rude awakening when the burglar alarm went off:mad: Think the dog needed a wee and decided to ramraid the living room to set off the sensor. It did the trick, DH went charging down the stairs to defend his castle:D

Speaking of the dog I lost him, I came down the stairs and didn't get knocked back up them as I usually do. Strange I thought, where's Dylan. DS grunted 'I dunno' as they do. So there I am out on the drive in my dressing gown, out in the garden, up the stairs.....nope can't find him and can't hear him either which is even stranger cos he's very vocal usually. Now I'm truly concerned, it's not easy to lose a flippin' great hairy Newfoundland, I thought maybe DH had forgotten to bring him back in after the alarm episode and the dog had done a runner. Eventually found him in the spare room, door closed, UNDER the bed:confused:  Think he'd found something interesting to chew on.

I was planning to drag the kids to the Pinetum for a walk, purely for the entertainment value of watching their scowling faces in the fresh air, obviously. Anyhow it's pouring with rain now so they are redeemed and we're going to the cinema instead..

Catch you later.

Evening All

Went to the cinema to watch A Night At The Museum, quite enjoyed it as did the kids.

Spent an hour wandering around Morrisons, breathing deeply and hovering around the spit roasted chickens:D MIL away until next week so just had to shop for food for the 2 kids, still managed to spend £50 and that's without any junk (cos the house is still creaking with choc & biscuits.)

Just had a thai chilli soup, really quite enjoy the soups these days; nice and warming.

Been playing with the kids Nintendo Wii all evening, bought 2 more controllers so now the 4 of us can play. We played tennis mixed doubles. I am truly awful, nobody wants to play with me cos I'm such a handicap:eek: Good fun though.

Wow, that Wii will defo add exercise into your program, well done on your 3lb yesterday, your prob down more this morning or am i then only mad nutter who weighs every morn?? Ha Ha, I know the risks but sure can't change now.

cheers Caz

Love the image of you playing doubles, and fighting not to have you on their team!! :p I truly have no idea what I am going to wear back to work on Tuesday - the pounds better fly off otherwise I might have to find a caftan!

1st January 2007

Morning All

So here we are at the start of another year, hope it's a good one.

Saturday I lost the plot big time, lovely meal out though. They didn't have salad on the menu so I chose the closest thing.....a 1/4 lber with bacon and stilton:eek: Idid hold the fries and have a jacket spud with it instead!! Oh and then I had birthday cake, be rude not to eh?

Yesterday I tried to start again but failed, I held things together a bit, I had 1 pack supplemented with Christmas cake (all gone now), a few sweets and 2 slices of bread and butter; what a nutrious diet NOT!!!!

Anyhow I'm going with the cliche 1st Jan, New Year, new Me! Laste night I packed away all the goodies lingering in the house, I'll dust them off at Easter. Yes I've checked the dates:D

Plan to tackle The 'Monster' today
Grrrr14.gif
it's been growing at an even more alarming rate than my bum. It lives in my utility room and most times I can keep it locked away
Grrrr35.gif

Today is a day to face my demons........

Hope you all have a great day.

Oh dear, I LMFAO reading that!!! :D Listen you, tis your time. You have Will, you have us, let's get cracking!

OOOf, poor you with the Monster, mines shocking too, and I need to do it for tomorrow as we all go back to work and holiday club, never mind, iron as wear for a few days me thinks!!!

Hi Cheb,

D_Q is right, your post is one of the funniest i've read it ages, specially de 1/4lb'r being the closest replacement to the salad, I'm defo for that when I eat out LOL..

love all the little symbols and your happy new year fat baby is hiliarious...I pinched him onto my PC...

good luck with your restart, I'm on a bit of a restart myself LOL, Day 32, with 8 days over Xmas and New year being Ave A Meal not the CD AAM at all, but as you say I did pick what I thought were the next healthiest alternatives to a chicken breast and brocolli, mainly Chicken Black Bean sauce, it has chicken and theres carrot slices and onions in there too if you look hard enough...New Years resolution lay off the carrots in my takeouts...only joking I'm back SS'ing today, well until Friday meet that is

Afternoon Ladies,

Hope you're all doing ok, so far so good for me. Had 2 packs already though which is quite early for me. Will have a soup about 8ish, hopefully that'll stop me picking...yeah right like a soup is a good alternative for all the yummies I really want! No, it's good old Mr Will Power who'll keep me on the straight and narrow.

Speaking of which Will has been shadowing me every second of the day, how's Sirius DQ?

I've got most of the ironing done, just the school uniforms left but they don;t go back til next week. Mind the kids have both just presented me with more washing despite assuring me that there wasn't any on their bedroom floors this morning, so here cometh the monster again!!! Why do kids do that? You know step over all their grubby clothes until nagged?

DS has a friend round to hang out so he's happy, DH (not) has consequently had a strop and gone off somewhere in the car, he wanted us to go up the woods to walk the dogs but there's no shifting the boys from the Wii so we have had to forego our stroll. I would have loved a walk too but DS has been trying to get a mate round to play for a week now and they've all been busy so I said it would be okay. Talk about divided loyalty's, can't keep everyone happy. Reckon DH (not) needs to grow up and be the adult. God knows where he is, he's fallen off the wagon too so is really just grumpy with himself, think I'll cheer him up some more by cooking for the kids but not him tonight ha, ha.

I watched Sense & Sensibilty that I'd recorded the other night while I was ironing, I really enjoyed it, still got 40 mins left in fact - it did go on a bit - so I'm off to watch the rest of it now with a coffee.

Keep up the good work girlies.
