Cheekychinchilla's food and stuff

Quite a busy day at the vets. Not like super busy, but enough stuff going on to keep us all going. Loads of x-rays! One of my new jobs is getting the x-ray machine in position as apparently I'm rather good at 'driving' it :p
Loads of running up and down stairs too, which is quite good ;)

Lunch: 2 slices of wholemeal little bread (HexB1), tin of Sainsbury's veggie ravioli, half HexA1 low fat cheese, salad, sweetcorn, and 60g reduced calorie coleslaw (2)

Tea: Leftover bolognese from the other night with taglieatelle. Broccoli. And 1tbsp of EL mayo (0.5)

Snack: 2 Snack biscuits (4)
2 Alpen lights (HexB2), strawberries, grapes, cherries, and an M&S Count On Us yogurt.

Drinks: Coffee (milk as rest of HexA1) Fanta Zero. Ribena really light.

Spent the afternoon baking with my sister and only tasted the mixture once, go me :D

Had a really good night last night. Think I even made a couple of new friends :eek: One of the girls who works at the vets was dog sitting for a client and invited me and another volunteer round for a film night. Dog was lovely too! :D

Saturday Food Green Day:

Lunch: 2 Weetabix (HexB1), banana, ss milk (all milk HexA1), and 1tsp of maple syrup (1)
Strawberries, grapes, and cherries, with an Activia fat free.

Snack: Apple.

Tea: Big noodle stir fry- Ramen noodles, bean sprouts, courgette, carrot, peppers, baby sweetcorn, mangetout, and red onion. Sauce-lime juice, light soy sauce, garlic, and ginger.
With a pack of Tesco chicken and veg sushi (2.5)

Snack when I got home at stupid o'clock this morning: 2 slices of wholemeal little bread (HexB2), HexA2 low fat cheese, cherry tomato's, and EL mayo (0.5)
Mini Pretzels (2) and 2 Snack biscuits (4)

Drinks: Coffee. Diet Coke. 2 Budweiser 66's (counting them the same as regular Buds until I can find the nutritional info 12)

Sunday food Green Day:

Lunch: 1 slice of wholemeal little bread and 1 regular size slice (HexB1 + 1), Quorn beef, 30g reduced cal coleslaw (1), HexB2 low fat cheese/extra light soft cheese, and tomato's.

Tea: Egg fried rice (brown rice, peas, and an egg), broccoli, mangetout, baby sweetcorn, red onion, peppers, carrots, and cabbage. Sauce (lime juice, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger)

Snack: 2 wholemeal Rusks (I know :eek: 7) A Fry's mint chocolate bar (10)

Drinks: Coffee (milk HexA1). Diet Coke. Highlights Mocha (2)

I'm so tired!!! I was texting a friend of mine at 3am because she was having a bit of a crisis. More than happy to help, but I'm in the vets on a Tues morning and I'm shattered. If I actually look the way I feel I probably look like a zombie. I daren't look :p
Have had a good day though. Decent morning at the vets-watched an op on a gerbil called Custard :D Did a bit of shopping. Came home and had lunch then ran out to the Dr's. Got home and my Sister had walked Dave to go and meet Mum, so I took Ellie over to meet them and we all had a walk round the park :)

Have made some WW jelly (purple sachet) to take to the pics tomorrow. Have put in loads of chopped up pineapple, strawberries, blueberries, and grapes :D Really happy with my creation! Now all I need to do is make sure it's still in the fridge by tomorrow night.....there may already be two spoon shaped holes in there tho :angeldevil:

/hugs for all your mum and you are having to go through. I hope that the Dr's can find a way to make her more comfortable!

And Custard is an adorable name for a gerbil!
 
The jelly is my new favourite find. It's the only sugar free type one that's veggie friendly. They're actually really nice :D Have only had the orange one so far, but I have the 'purple' one for later. Smells lovely :D

Forgot to say: Results are back! Ellie has bacterial overgrowth :) I've been given some Clavaseptin to start her on from today and I'm taking her in with me on Thursday afternoon for a quick check and an injection (I think it's B12). He's hoping that the tablets alone will improve her condition a little by Thurs :D

I spoke too soon about her not having diarrhoea tho. I haven't cleaned up the garden for a few days because of the crappy weather, but I have just been out.. She has definitely had some diarrhoea. Not all the poops were bad ones, but most of them were. On saying that, we went out on a walk yesterday and she did a normal poo :rolleyes:

That's it for now. Will update again on Thursday when I've spoken to Alan properly.x

Right, I'm checking up on some things that I haven't been sure about and I just looked up the coleslaw I've been using. I was going by the syn guide for reduced calorie coleslaw in the book, which is roughly 2 syns for 60g. But the one I'm using (Morrison's reduced fat creamy coleslaw) isn't on syns online, so I put it into the syn calculator and it comes out at 4 syns per 60g :( How accurate is the syn calculator for products with more than one free food? I just put in cabbage as the free food coz it's the highest % ingredient. I'm confused and annoyed with myself :(

Decided to check my measurements on the Wii My Fitness Coach, because I never bothered measuring myself for SW. I'd only measured my arms and the graph wasn't very accurate/easy to read :rolleyes: So I've taken a load of new measurements and put them in my book, so if I ever have a crisis like this again I can measure myself and hopefully that will cheer me up. It's an idea anyway...

Oh ffs!!! Found something else :cry: The Sainsbury's veggie ravioli I've thought for months was free isn't, I just checked and it's 2 syns a tin. I know that isn't very much, but I have it like twice a week. Grrrr :mad:

Took Ellie in to work with me today. She's put on 2kg :happy036: Quite funny that she needs to put on weight and I'm desperately trying to lose it :p She will need B12 injections for 3 weeks and antibiotics for 6 weeks and then she should be sorted :D

Adjusting my diary for syns gone wrong. Gonna use the Syns Calculator result for the coleslaw. So 30g is 2 syns :sigh:
At least I can put right this weeks food and will hopefully get a loss next week. Still kicking myself :eek:

I have started using proper measuring spoons now. Every little helps :rolleyes: I've really lost my confidence with SW now because of these silly mistakes :eek:

And 1 piece of wholemeal little bread (3)

Snack: 1 big hotel chocolat choc (4) and 1 regular one (3)
