Hello, well done on resisting the temptations at the cinema - a few more days and it will become easier (although I'm a fine one to talk...).
Getting stabbed with the putting-to-sleep needle sounds terrifying, a friend of mine used to work at the Big Issue offices and got a used needle stuck in her arm when she was cleaning up the reception area (some kind patron had 'disposed' of it down the back of a chair cushion or something). She had to wait months before it could be confirmed that she wasn't HIV positive or had caught any other nasties...Glad you are OK :)

I think a needle-stick is much more scary when it's been used by a human! If it had of been a human one I would have been straight to A&E :) I guess I'm lucky myxomatosis isn't a zoonotic!

Sometimes I find SW harder to stick to the longer I stay on the straight and narrow. Especially now that I can go out and see my friends and stuff. Have turned down lunch out on Sunday, lying that I haven't got any money! I'm just gonna meet my friends at the cinema instead :( There's only so many times a week I can pick good choices lol

Haven't put my weight gain on here coz I felt too embarrassed. But I might as well. I got weighed on Sat&Sun at work and I'd gone up to 79.5kg's  Which is about 12st5  :(
But hoping I can do a sneaky weigh on Mon or Tues to see if this week will have gotten rid of any of that.

You will probably have lost some of that just from being back into your usual routine after the holiday treats. I know you eat out now and then but it's not the same as hoiday food is it?! I am sure that you can shift most of it by Christmas if you can refocus. I feel like a bit of a hypocrite because I have had a rubbish SW year but we both know that the plan DOES WORK if we let it!
We can do it - I am going for a swim after work then having a jacket potato, beans and cheese for tea. Yum! :)

Mmmm soup!

Will be alright to just smoosh up the soup with a masher or a fork once its cooked wont it? Not sure we have any sort of blender and I do like thick, chunky soups..... :p

I really, really miss soup. But I've also been really, really lazy. Will give this one a go and see how I do :) My friend gave me a food/soup flask so I can chuck it in that for going to work then I wont have to heat it up in the scabby microwaves :p

I found a lovely chunky minestrone recipe (no blender required) in one of my SW cookbooks. I've made it quite a few times and it's lovely. I will try and remember to fish it out over the weekend and post it here :)

Friday: Had an awful nights sleep last night. Horrible nightmares again :(
Left me feeling drained and all weird. Hrmph!
Didn't have time to eat before I went to meet my Sister for our big food shop so just grabbed a banana on the way out and then ended up with a late lunch. Was nice though ;)

Breakfast: Banana.

Lunch: Big jacket spud, smoky bbq beans, 2 veggie burgers (1), and low fat cheese (HexA1)

Tea: 7 Quorn nuggets (3.5), low fat Supernoodles, salad, low fat cheese (HexA2), wholemeal bread (HexB1), and mojo and salad dressing (1.5)

Snack: 2 Alpen Lights (HexB2), strawberries, grapes, raspberries, and Shape (0.5)

Drinks: Coffee. Coke Zero.

Syns used: 7.5
Syns left: 24.5

Exercise: Bit of walking. Big clean of the garage animals, garden, and chinchilla's :)

Have you had the mooshed up soup? I do that sometimes when I'm too lazy to clean the blender.

Sounds YUMMY!

Ok, so that didn't happen. Have felt so rough today. The left side of my face feels like it's going to explode and my eyes (esp left eye) are SO sore!! I look ok though  Well, as ok as I ever look :p I'm achey all over too and my joints are killing-esp my wrists and fingers! Banging headache and general feel of meh

So we went for a proper lunch at the veggie place. Had home made Tomato soup and a slice of cheese on wholemeal toast (HexB1&2 for bread and cheese)
But then Mum decided she was having apple crumble and custard and I felt so bad that I really wanted super comfort food too and caved in  So will count all of todays syns for that. Syns and Hex's for that meal probably aren't right, but it's about as 'good' as I feel like being :p

Tea was supposed to be something from M&S but that didn't happen either. So threw together a quick Quorn bolognese with loads of veggies and wholemeal spaghetti. Would have been fine if it wasn't for the load of halloumi I had with it :p Will count it as both HexA's. Don't even know if you can have that as a Hex, but I am lol.

Just had a snack pack of Halloween Oreo's (6syns) so will knock them and a few extra syns off my saved ones. Think I'll round it up to 10 :)

Syns left for tomorrow: 14.5

Exercise: a lot of walking round town and to and from bus stops.

I made Oddsoacks soup!!! Didn't exactly go to plan because the sweet potatoes I bought were Tesco's finest and whatever type they are they're white!! So my soup isn't a lovely orangey colour, but a grey-ish brown

It may not be pretty but it tastes sooooo good :D

How long would you guys say it could live in the fridge? I forgot to buy freezer bags.
