Cheekychinchilla's food and stuff

Hope you feel better- lots of antibiotics can cause constipation so that's very likely the cause! X

Hi!

I didn't start the antibiotics till yday :) I had been taking strong anti-inflammatories last week tho, so that could be it. And i do always have a gain when I start exercising again. It's so frustrating lol! But I know I'm sticking to plan :)
How's you?x

I've had a small gain this week too, but I know it's because of PMT-induced water retention so I'm not changing my ticker, it'd be too painful to take away my 1 stone sticky again! I'm sure we'll both have good losses next week :) Your hand sounds so painful! Hopefully you'll feel better after a sleep xx

It is bloody painful lol! I can see the pockets of infection sitting under the skin. Naughty bloody kitty! And stupid vet making me hold something a way I'm not comfortable with-wasn't one of our hospitals vets. But at least it's draining out now. Just taking paracetamol today to take the edge off. Don't like taking strong meds for long periods of time so having a break from the Naproxen.
Where I had the tetanus injection is really sore too. I'm proper walking wounded today :p

Yup, fingers crossed we get our much deserved losses soon :D

Off work this week and planned to kick off the week by getting stuck in to my work course. But I didn't and felt I needed a weekend like day to myself. So I had a long lie-in (although I had 2 pretty nasty nightmares so I#m still knackered :() watched some Buffy and had a nice dinner, did some washing and put it in the garden, de-poo'd the garden, sorted out the bunnies and gave each pair a turn in the garden run, sat in the sun and read for a while, had a pampery shower, and then my sister's boyfriend helped me build the new bunny run :D It's mahoosive!!! I'll no doubt have pics tomorrow ;)

Thurs: Had a good day today. Did another assignment for my work course (although the second part of it is a 10min talk *groan*) and some more theory stuff. And went to karate :)
But I've also cracked my holiday dilemma! Trying to pick between dog sledding and a multi-activity was too hard! SO we're going on a shorter 4 day dog sledding trek, staying a night in Kiruna, and then going on the Experience Lapland holiday (horses, reindeer, visit to the Ice Hotel, and dog sledding) We'll have 8 beautiful, fantastic, adventurous days in Swedish Lapland! I'm going to the arctic circle!!!!!!!! Now that's a 30th birthday adventure ;) SO EXCITED!!!!

Lunch: 3 Quorn sausages (3), 2 boiled eggs, wholemeal toast (HexB1), and tomato sauce & mustard (1)

Tea: Mac & cheese (2 + half HexA1 for milk), Quorn lamb grill, low fat cheese (HexB2), salad, and dressing (1)

Drinks: Coffee. Squash. Powerade Zero. Fanta Zero. Options (2)

That sounds so amazing! Really pleased for you :) It's quite similar to what I'm planning for my 30th next year- I want to see the Northern Lights for my birthday, which is in November (apparently a peak time for the Aurora) so I'm planning to go to Norway or Iceland and see them. Fingers crossed!

Hey mate! That's really cool. Yeah this winter's supposed to be one of the best times to see them in 50 years. I'm hoping 8 days in Swedish Lapland will give us a decent chance of seeing them lol. I've just emailed the tour company now to reserve our spaces for March! Our birthday's are in Jan (I'm 30 on the 21st and my friend is 21 on the 28th), but we'd both like to be home for them. Plus I'm seeing the Lion King in Manchester 2 days before mine so I'd better be home :p And I figured going in March will give us an extra month to save :) Squeeee!!! I can't wait!! This tour company are amazing as well :)

If you wanna look at the ones I'm doing:
We're doing this one first Dog Sledding Lapland: Husky Sledding in Lapland for Adults & Families
Then a night in a hotel in Kiruna.
Then this one Winter Holidays Lapland: Multi-activity Dog Sledding & Northern Lights
The pony trekking totally won me over for the 2nd one ;) The only thing going against that holiday was just a morning of dog sledding. So that's why we're doing 2 holidays :p Will cost a lot, but it will be a truly epic big birthday adventure for both of us :D

I love your idea. I'd love to go to Iceland :D

That sounds so incredible! I'm sure it will be amazing! I didn't realise this winter was supposed to be one of the best times to see them- I've just spoken to Chris about it and we've decided to go this Winter and go and (hopefully) see them again for my 30th. I don't want to miss a chance like that! :)

Sounds amazing and hey you only get to turn 30 once might as well do it with a mega holiday hehe ;-) x
