Cheekychinchilla's food and stuff

That sounds so incredible! I'm sure it will be amazing! I didn't realise this winter was supposed to be one of the best times to see them- I've just spoken to Chris about it and we've decided to go this Winter and go and (hopefully) see them again for my 30th. I don't want to miss a chance like that! :)

When are you turning 30 mate? By this winter I meant this winter season, so prob between Oct this year and end of April next year. NASA even has some info on it ;)

Monday food: Today's turned in to a veggie EE day. I'm way too full for more Hex's!!

Breakfast: 2 Alpen lights (HexB1)

First break: Grapes, cherries, raspberries, and blackberries with an Activia ff.

Lunch: Wholemeal pasta, sweetcorn, peppers, tomatoes, carrot, Quorn ham, and extra light mayo (0.5) Salad, beetroot, and dressing (1) Rest of the fruit.

Break: a blush pear.

Tea: Mexican rice, Quorn steak, refried beans, onions, peppers, cherry tomatoes, and sweetcorn. Low fat cheese (HexA1), cottage cheese, and dressing (0.5)

Snack: A Hotel Chocolat choc (3)

Drinks: Coffee. Coke Zero. Lilt Zero.

Syns used: 5

Exercise: Walking and work. Was a hectic, hectic day today. Only 2 VCA's instead of 5! I'm very tired :p

I turn 30 next November, so I'd miss out on this winter. I've been reading up on it since I read your post earlier and I really want to go this year! I have two travel-related things that I want to do by the time I'm 30: see the northern lights, and travel outside of Europe, so I'm planning to do one of them this year and the other next year. Your holiday sounds so amazing, you must be so excited! xx
 
I am excited, but it's damn stressful too! I'm kinda being left to do it all myself. And I'm grateful my friend trusts me, but it is quite a lot to take on. It's a LOT of money to ask from someone so I'd better get it right! Plus, it's a hell of a lot of money for me too!!

Maybe you should do Northern Lights this winter and then outside Europe for your birthday? :)

Wednesday: Half day at work today :)

Breakfast: 2 Alpen lights (HexB1)

First break: Grapes, cherries, raspberries, and blackberries with an Activia ff.

Lunch: Small jacket spud, 2 burgers (2), spaghetti, and low fat cheese (HexA1)

Tea: Veggie burrito bowl at Bar Burrito. They've changed their recipe/cooking style recently and I think they've either cut out oil or drastically lowered it. Everything was so light and I honestly couldn't taste or 'feel' any oil. But will count a few syns just in case. And a couple for the blob of soured cream I had (5 in all) + HexB2 for cheese.

At cinema: Nothing :eek:

Treat: Hotel Chocolat choc (3)

Drinks: Coffee. Coke Zero.

I passed my theory test :D :bunnydance: 49 out of 50....oh yeah ;) So very glad I don't have to study for that any more!!
I gave my instructor my pass certificate, my license, and a lot of money so he can book my practical test :D Wont be till early Sep coz of waiting times, but still!

Also sorted out all the basics for my holiday. Got the flights, Heathrow hotel, Kiruna hotel, deposits for both holidays, and some really good outdoors clothing bargains! It's very really now and very exciting!! Tis a shame it's 9 months away :p
 
Thurs food:

Breakfast rushing to the test centre: Banana.

Brunch: Treated myself to celebratory porridge and coffee at Nero's-oh, I know how to live ;) Will say HexB1 for porridge and half HexA1 for skimmed milk. I asked for it thick/chunky so he didn't use much milk. Will say 5 syns for any extra porridge oats and the maple syrup.

Tea: Home made ratatouille. Onion, garlic, peppers, mushroom, courgette, aubergine, sweetcorn, spinach, tomatoes, and quorn mince. With wholemeal spaghetti, low fat cheese (HexA2), salad, and dressing (1)

Snack: 2 Alpen Lights (HexB2)

Drinks: Coffee. Diet Coke. Squash. Options (2)

Syns used: 8

Exercise: Lots of fast walking through town and getting lost looking for the test centre. And to and from bus stops.

Friday: I slept for at least 12hrs last night!! Woke up just after 2pm. I was so exhausted yesterday. Had a stressful few days with everything to do with the holiday going wrong, my theory test, and then I was on earlies at the beginning of the week.
But lotsa nice sleep! Had dreams about the holiday, which wasn't a surprise, but also a weird one about drying wooden spoons :confused: My brain is clearly over worked at the moment.

Lunch: 2 Quorn sausages (2), beans, cheesy scrambled eggs (Half HexA1 for milk & cheese), crispy potatoes, wholemeal toast (HexB1), and tomato sauce (1)

Tea: Leftover ratatouille from yday with wholemeal spaghettie, low fat cheese (HexA2), salad, and dressing (1)

Snack: 1 Hotel Chocolat choc (3)

Drinks: Coffee. Squash. Teapigs tea :)

Hey all!
How are your weekends going? I had a bit of a planned 'saved up syns'/day off day yesterday.
I had porridge, banana, and dried fruit for brunch.
I went to Manchester with my friend for food and a gig.
I got a small fruity tea frapp thing from Costa for the train (really needed something super cold to help with my horrible mouth ulcer!).
We went to Giraffe, YAY!, for tea and I got a Hippy Hippy Shake smoothy, Farmers Market veggie burrito with avacado chunks, salad, and a side of sweet potato fries, and a toffee apple crumble for dessert.
We had time to kill and stopped at Nero's for a drink and I had black coffee and one of their 30p chocolates.
And then I had a Budweiser at the gig.
When I got home I had some jam on wholemeal toast :eek:

I'm hoping the 35 saved syns and the 15 for the day, plus my Hex's will have covered at least most of it. 50 syns is pretty good going I think :)

We went to see Metric and they were bloody brilliant live! Had a fantastic time! :D

Back to normal food and stuff today.x

Drinks: Coffee. Sugar Free Mountain Dew :eek: Squash. Diet Lemonade. Options (2)

Exercise: Walking to and around the shops.
 
Wednesday: Back to work today, short half day tho 2-6.

Lunch: Porridge (HexB1), banana, dried fruit (2), Splenda, and skimmed milk (half HexA1)
A couple of chunks of pineapple and melon with an Activia.

A slice of ham while I was making lunch for tomorrow.

Tea: A Burrito Bowl from Barburrito (5) with some leftover chilli, salad, and dressing. (rest of HexA1 and HexA2 for cheese)

Snack: 2 Alpen Lights (HexB2) A Hotel Chocolat choc (3)

Drinks: Coffee. Squash. Diet Lemonade.
