Cheekychinchilla's food and stuff

I just had an awesome lunch. Took me ages to decide what I wanted and I ended up with a Man Vs Food type omelette lol!
It was stuffed with onion, mushrooms, peppers, tomatoes, sliced Quorn sausage, and cheese :D Had it with wholemeal toast. So nice!

I'm at karate training tonight, so need a nice quick tea. So made a bowl of onions, peppers, sweetcorn, chickpeas, and feta to have with cous cous, salad, and beetroot :D Not a bad food day! Just wanted to share coz it was something different.x

Omelette sounds amazing mine always end up messy when I put lots on them but still taste good so I don't care :p

Cute pic though pics are so tiny on my phone to see unless people put them as an attachment so I can open the pic and view it! X

The funeral was really nice :) Incredibly sad, but I'm glad there were so many of us there in our uniform! We were like a sea of blue :D It was really tough tho.

And I finally caved in to comfort eating  The day started off really well with Porridge and lots of fruit. But I met Mum at the hospital for her app after the funeral and everything and by the time we were done I was starving! So we went to the veggie place and I just couldn't resist garlic'y cheese on toast with mixed salad and quite a bit of low cal salad cream. Had a large Lime Refresher at Starbucks. And when we got home I had a tea cake AND jam on toast. And then at ethe (big) bar of Oreo Milka my sister brought me back from Spain. Balls!!!! :(

Will obviously use todays syns and the 22 I had saved to try and lessen the damage. But back to being good now, most definitely -I feel really sick :( I shouldn't have eaten all that crap, but, well, I think it was bound to happen after recent events. Hopefully the tough karate session last night will help too.

It's my friends birthday next Saturday and it's a surprise Alice In Wonderland/kids garden party. So naughty food and booze. But until then I will be saintly ;)

Aww davey is a cutie and you are looking good too missus.

Sorry to hear you had a tough day funerals are always such tough days though it's nice to say goodbye and remember the good times. Oreo milka sounds amazing I hope they bring that put here soon as I love milka and Oreos :-D x

Oreo Milka IS amazing!! As is Oreo Cake.... We totally don't need mt to update on my weekend eating. It has not been even remotely SW friendly (well, meals have! Lol) and mainly cake and chocolate  But I'll be real good Mon-Fri this week and try and keep my syns under 10 a day to help with what I've done this weekend and the same for my friends birthday party next weekend!

Had a lovely, super busy day today! I took Davey to our local Dogs Trust open day with some friends and their doggy. Met up with my ex, his girlfriend, and Mum and their dog lol.
DogsTrustDay.jpg

Then we ditched the ex, etc, and just me and my friends went for hot chocolate and cake at the cafe at Otterspool and then walked for over 2hrs along the prom and Festival Gardens. When I got home I walked Ellie for 40mins, cleaned out the bunnies, de-poo'd the garden, and then showered the dogs coz Ellie had rolled in fox poo

Had a SW tea and then ate a lot of chocolate and watched lots of Olympics!

I've most definitely got the crappy binge eating out of the way now. And feel bloody awful for it :(

Forgot to say that I actually bought, and fit in to, a size 12 pair of jeans on Fri!! Need to get away from the bad eating habits tho.

Hope everyone had nice weekends.x

Great news on the size12 jeans that's fab :) and great that the want for cake and chocolate is all out your system now! X

Think for now I might do a short version of my food diary, just Hex's, syns, and exercise. Getting a bit bored of typing everything out :p Will write in anything new or particularly exciting.

I did make a super veg packed, syn free ratatouille for my tea-got 3 BIG portions out of it :D Think I might do a big chickpea dahl tomorrow *nods*

Watching the Olympics, and I am watching a LOT, is really making me want to get fit. Properly fit :p Just hope I can pull of my 'get fit' plan!
Once I'm fit (ter) I'll need to work on my upper body strength for my holiday. Will have to do some research.
Also, I really miss swimming. God damn Liverpool City Council for closing my local pool :(

Wed: Back to work today. Which is annoying because I just want to watch the Olympics ALL day :p I wore my cool Team GB lion logo pin on my uniform :D
Syns: 4
HexA: milk
HexB: Porridge + Fibre Plus
Exercise: Walking to and from bus stops and around Asda. 4hrs at work.

Not doing bad at all on the saved syns!! In case any one's worried, I haven't gone insane (well....). The low syn days are to make up for the insanely bad weekend I had and to try and prepare for my friend's birthday weekend-because I know there's be a LOT of naughty food and some drinks.
Normal service will resume next week :)

Thursday: Work again today and I'm in kennels-definitely a workout! Then I'm meeting my friend for karate training! Will be taking extra fruit & a couple of Alpen Light's with me to munch on before the session. We'll be getting there super early and we're gonna get a coffee, so can have my snacks then :) I'm gonna be bloody knackered :p

Food plan:
Syns: 4.5
HexA: Milk/ +
HexB: Porridge + Alpens
Exercise: Tough day at work. 1hr30-2hrs at karate. Walking to and from bus stops and the gym-prob about an hour of walking in all!

ETA: I just can't eat any more and I know I should have at another half HexA, but I can't do it lol. I did have about half a tub of cottage cheese with my tea tho, so that'll do ;) No way can I have any more syns either. I don't even think I could cope with an Options :p

Bloody hell training was good tonight!! Lol. I had a really, really physically tough day at work today. Then did quite a decently intense, as intense as it can be for kids and newbies, karate session. THEN had to run for the bus, a fair amount..... I think I may have actually died at some point ;)
But feel really good tho! My chest's a bit tight/wheezy and my thighs are killing me. But I feel AWESOME! Prob wont in the morning when I have to get up for work. Back in kennels again too :faint2:

Urgh! Work was absolutely horrific today. I have never, ever seen so much traffic through kennels. We had NO kennel space in dog or cat kennels (8 cat & 24 dog) Twice today I had to put a dog in the yard that we knew was going home within half an hour so we could use it's kennel for a new dog! I was so close to 'Hulking' out a few times and had to go hide in the toilets to cool down. Just too many people wanting too many things from you and forgetting that you do actually have a work load of your own.
Anyway, made a decent bit of improvement with my favourite patient of the week. I don't know if she will pull through, but I took her outside for some fresh air and sunshine and a bit of physio. Fingers crossed for her!

So yeah, anyway, work was awful. Got home and cleaned and fed the bunnies, walked the dogs:25mins for Ellie and 30 for Dave, got in my pj's, made my tea (ratatouille with a mountain of spaghetti and salad), and have been watching the Olympics since 9 when I finally got to sit down.
I don't think there's a bit of me that doesn't hurt :( I really wanted to run tonight, but my hips, knees, and ankles are just too sore  Maybe a run on Sunday!

Food stuff:
Syns: 7.5
HexA: Milk/ + cheese
HexB: Porridge + Fibre Plus
Exercise: An even worse day at work, 55mins of dog walking, and walking to and from bus stops.
Syns saved: 48.5

Decent amount of syns saved towards my friends party tomorrow. Quite happy with that :) And shows I can do a low syn week if I need to/when I really try ;)

Have a fab time at party and well done on the syns saved for it. X

I prob went over my syns, unsurprisingly, but I did have 63.5 to use towards today plus my Hex's so you never know :) I didn't go mental and I only actually had two alcoholic drinks-2 small 'Coke size' cans of fruity cider. Did have a big chunk of cake and loads of nibbles and stuff. But yeah, I didn't go too insane :) Will hopefully have a a low syn day tomorrow and then get back to normal from Monday.

I'd really like to try and run tomorrow, but will have to see how my joints feel and how bad the weather is :p

Sunday: Didn't feel up to a run today and there were storms on and off ALL day! Just before 7pm it was lovely and sunny so decided to speed walk the dogs before the next lot of rain. I was SO sweaty by the end coz I had my waterproof jacket on just in case lol.

Syns: 13
HexA: Cheese/milk +
HexB: Bread + Porridge
Exercise: 1hr5mins dog walking.... 29mins with Dave and 36 mins with Ellie ;)

Monday: Work wasn't so bad today. I was on the front, so helping vets and nurses in consults :)
Met Mum after work for a Costa and look round Asda. Got in very, very late! And I've been up since 6 coz I was in work for 8!!!
A bit TMI, but I'm having my first period since March (I'm on the pill) and I think my womb is trying to audition for Aliens..... SO painful!

Syns: 6
HexA: Skimmed milk + cheese/
HexB: Porridge + Fibre Plus
Exercise: Work. Walking to and from bus stops. Bloody TWO hours walking round Asda
Syns left: 9

Crappy day today. Was in work this morning till 12, then went to meet Mum and my sister at the Linda McCartney centre :( Mum got a call back after her breast screening last week! She's had some more scans and an ultrasound today and they've found some cysts (not normally scary, I know) and a dark shadow.... They're gonna reassess the images and get in touch if they need to. Hopefully not!!
It's just on top of everything else Mum's been through (she has severe spondillosis, fibromyalgia, restless legs, plantar fasciatis) and more recently diagnosed bone tumour in her hand, osteoarthritis in the thumb joint of the same hand, and she's having spots in her eyes investigated. I just dunno how much more we can all take. Surely we've had our share of **** now? Esp with me with my dodgy heart and us losing Dad to cancer before he was even 50. I mean, come on universe!!!

Anyway, rant aside, as you can imagine food went out the window. Started well with my usual porridge and fruit, fruit & yogurt on my break, and then we all went to the veggie place for a late lunch after the hospital. The meal itself would have cost me the rest of my Hex's and around 10 syns. But then we all got cake (vegan, so obv calorie free ;)) and I had custard with mine. Oh well, I think we more than deserved a (relatively) healthy meal out together!

Can I just ask for a bit of luck from everyone?!
Thanks.xxx

ps. Will obv use up saved syns to go towards today....
