Cheekychinchilla's food and stuff

Don't feel like eating, but think I should. Got a bowl of blackberries and raspberries and a free yogurt :)

Crappy day today. Was in work this morning till 12, then went to meet Mum and my sister at the Linda McCartney centre :( Mum got a call back after her breast screening last week! She's had some more scans and an ultrasound today and they've found some cysts (not normally scary, I know) and a dark shadow.... They're gonna reassess the images and get in touch if they need to. Hopefully not!!
It's just on top of everything else Mum's been through (she has severe spondillosis, fibromyalgia, restless legs, plantar fasciatis) and more recently diagnosed bone tumour in her hand, osteoarthritis in the thumb joint of the same hand, and she's having spots in her eyes investigated. I just dunno how much more we can all take. Surely we've had our share of **** now? Esp with me with my dodgy heart and us losing Dad to cancer before he was even 50. I mean, come on universe!!!

Anyway, rant aside, as you can imagine food went out the window. Started well with my usual porridge and fruit, fruit & yogurt on my break, and then we all went to the veggie place for a late lunch after the hospital. The meal itself would have cost me the rest of my Hex's and around 10 syns. But then we all got cake (vegan, so obv calorie free ;)) and I had custard with mine. Oh well, I think we more than deserved a (relatively) healthy meal out together!

Can I just ask for a bit of luck from everyone?!
Thanks.xxx

ps. Will obv use up saved syns to go towards today....

Sorry to hear you had such a rubbish day :( Do not worry about your food, you def deserved it. Keeping my fingers crossed and sending lots of luck that you don't hear anything else from the ultrasound xx

Sorry to hear that :-( hope it's nothing serious with your mum sounds like you guys have had way more than your share of bad health!! X

Thanks guys :) I was doing 'ok' today, although my morning at work was really hard coz we were very busy and I wasn't quite 'with it' But had a half day today, came home and had a nice refreshing shower, had lunched, watched the Olympics, and then went to meet Mum. We went back to the veggie place for tea and I had lasagne with mixed salad-which wouldn't have been too bad. But I then bought an Olympics mug that had some Cadbury's Hero's in and Mum but me a slice of chocolate chew from the cinema cafe as a surprise (like a thin slice of tiffin without the crunchy bits lol) I ate the chocs and the slice thing while watching Batman.
SO new plan is very low syn till Sunday coz we're going out for brunch with my friends, but also going for a doggy walk.
Got karate training tomorrow and will also attempt to get out with the dogs on Fri & Sat. I can't slip back. But understandable that it's happening. It'll settle, and we'll cope, and my eating and exercising will improve. It WILL ;)

I had a 100% day :D :bunnydance: Shouldn't be a big deal, but it is right now.
Had a crazy mad domestic goddess session this afternoon in the ridiculous heat whilst trying to watch the Olympics. I cleaned out the bunnies, de-poo'd the garden, cleaned the kitchen work tops and cooker hob, hoovered, did the dishes, and put washing out :faint2:
Had a really good training session at karate tonight too. The kids/newbies sensei is on holiday so there were only 2 kids and we all got stuck in with the senior class. Obv not doing as much as them, but we really got stuck in and had a chance to do stuff we never would with the kids. We even got to learn our first kata! I love kata-bit like a dance routine, but karate;) The first one is very basic and it's very similar to the first one I learnt at my old club. But was just brill to get to have a go at proper stuff!

Have had an awful mood day today :( Really down and felt like there was a lot of pressure on my head :( I had to go to the chemist today coz my sleeping pills were missed off my prescription, so I HAD to go out. Made myself go and took Davey with me, which meant I also had to walk Ellie too. See what I did there? ;) So yeah, made myself go out. It was hotter than the sun tho! I left it as late as possible but it was still stupidly hot when I went out at 5. Managed to keep to the shade most of the time, but as soon as Ellie got home she jumped straight in to her paddling pool lol.
Also sorted out the bunnies and got the other pair out in the garden run today. And I sat out reading for about an hour too :)
Still feel a bit meh, but a bit better too.

Sorry to hear that you are feeling low but good that you got yourself out and about. Usually when I'm feeling down I find the thought of doing anything is much worse than the reality - once you get out and about it's at least a distraction for a little while :) x

I just can't be arsed with anything right now. I had a rough patch depression wise a few weeks back, but all the recent crap has brought it back and extra :( Dragged my arse over to the shops before to get some food in for work. And I've got a nice day planned for tomorrow. Got lots of days in work next week tho :(

Syns this weekend? No idea :p Not totally mental, but not brill. I did do a dog walk with my friends today for well over 4hrs. Practiced karate with my friend who's training with me. And walked Ellie when I got home for almost half an hour.
Back to being properly good tomorrow :angeldevil:

A 100% day :party0011:
Work actually wasn't too bad today. I was in kennels, but with one of the nurses I really like. Plus, it wasn't insanely busy :)
I'm really struggling with sleeping at the moment so attempting the exhaustion route to sleep. So after work I walked the dogs. 40mins with Dave followed by 30mins with the hound. I am exhausted now and from the hips down is just pain

Soooo tired! Think I got about 6hrs sleep last night. So a bit of an improvement :) Today at work hasn't been too bad either. Nice and steady and with good company! In again tomorrow but a half day and we have staff meetings....lots of sitting down :p

Made a mahoosive chilli for tea and bought a pack of Discovery chilli con carne seasoning, which works out at under 1 syn per portion (4) But I'll be good and count it as a syn per go ;)
Bought some of the new Highlights flavours. Got a milk chocolate, hazelnut, and Caramel :D Got a caramel one now and it's lovely :)
I passed on the dog walking this evening coz it was roasting hot when I got home and I had my tea to make, bunnies to clean, and definitely needed to shower ;)

I'm bloody knackered!! Work wasn't too bad and we spent almost 2hrs in meetings (I was only in 4hrs :p) but I went to the shops after work, had lunch and then did a mad domestic goddess session for at least an hour! Did hoovering, dishes, cleaned the kitchen, tidied the living room, emptied bins, sorted out the recycling/junk mail, and put away all the 'watched' dvd's. And I just speed walked the dogs, to try and beat the rain, which we did. Walked much faster than normal! Would love to have a proper pedometer or the Nike + thing so I knew how far I walked and how fast! Anyway, good walks :)
Food will be interesting this evening coz I'm having leftover chilli with....... mac and cheese! My sister made it for herself the other night and said it was lovely, so I had a spoonful. Gonna try it with my own chilli tonight :D Weird, but I promise it's nice ;)

Do you have an android phone? There's loads of free apps to show you how far/fast you walk/run! :)

They really aren't expensive either can pick up budget ones really cheaply! X

I'm playing with a couple of ideas of how to try and boost my losses. Apart from, you know, actually sticking to plan ;)
Thinking possibly having a syn limit of 10 per week day and 15 of a weekend. Also maybe throwing in more extra easy days. I have the odd one, but not very many and it's usually by mistake. Just wondering if I would get better (yeah I mean faster :p) losses if I had maybe 2-4 EE days a week instead of just green most of the time.

What does anyone think? Either or both or any other suggestions? :)

Also, I have been trying much harder with exercise. That never boosts my losses and sometimes even stops it. But I would like to be fitter, and really need to be for my holiday, and I'd like to be more toned too. At the moment it's just dog walking and karate. But looking in to getting my bike fixed up, or even buying a new one, as well as looking in to the odd swimming session. No running for now because it's too hot and I need to get my knees looked at by a physio before they fall off or something....

Lots to think about but I really, really, REALLY want to get to target. Or at least to 11st so I can possibly reassess and see how I feel. I got a heart check up appointment through today and it's late Nov. Would LOVE to be down to 11st by then! Health is prob my biggest motivation :)

Still trying to decide about how to shake things up a bit. Thinking the syn change might be good. Not sure I'm ready for full on EE, even if it's only a couple of days a week, but I think I will try my best to have only 1 HexA per day and attempt to have at least on EE day per week.
How does that sound to anyone? Also trying to decide whether to do the syn thing this week or let me enjoy my saved syns and start next week

What's the point in extra easy as a veggie is it just so you up the super free with every meal and also I guess use a couple less calories due to the less healthy extras? X

Well I am knackered again! Took Davey to meet my friend and her dog at a big-ish park. We did 3 laps going in and out and climbing over and through stuff and everything. Really cool afternoon!! We didn't get too wet and we ended up having to carry our coats coz it was just too hot!! The exercise time will include the 15mins walking to and from the bus stop :) As soon as I got home I swapped and went out with Ellie. always feel bad when she's left in alone so I made a bit of an effort and took her out for half an hour. I walk much quicker when I'm by myself and by the time I got home I was absolutely soaking....and no, it didn't rain ;)
Made a lovely curry for tea (and two extra portions) with a tin of chickpea dahl for the sauce. Had Quorn pieces, onions, orange & green peppers, cherry tomatoes, raisins, and dwarf beans in :D
Gonna have a hot chocolate and my Fibre Plus and watch an ep of Buffy :D

Also think I'm gonna count this week as my first low syn weekday thing and take off 5 of my saved syns for each day. Worth a try eh?! So new saved syn amount for today is minus 5 syns for each day (to take it down to the 10 syn allowance) If I left it at 15 a day I'd be up to 41.5 saved syns now. Which I think is a bit daft!

Extra Easy Day. And also a 10 syn limit.
