This all stems from your AWESOME post and the title change of DM's (?) diary, so I suggested to Greeneyes that she change hers from "Trying again and again and again" to something more positive which, bless, she has done. I thought, take your own advice Chels and instead of hopefully it is definitely. Well spotted KC xx

LOL!

CL -- I don't think it is an age thing, as I suspect that I am older than you are, and I love the Twilight Series. Stephanie Meyer is a very talented writer. However, I recommend that you read the books -- then watch the films.

Have fun tonight, ladies.

Lol, you served up a good 'un there KC *groans* Reminds me of a DJ that used to operate in a local nightclub I used to attend on a weekly basis (those were the days ;)) It was at the time of Wimbledon fortnight and he said how he loved the tennis ...... "All that love, deuce........" Think about it :D:D

Wishing you a volley good afternoon heheheheh

Morning Chels, hope you enjoyed your dvd night in, i'm waiting for SATC2 movie to come from Lovefilm still haven't seen it! much preferred the series to the movies anyway. we're having a bit of a 'Friends' revival here, dd has just discovered it and it's always on and i'm watching them again and remembering how much i used to love them!
Hope you are having a good saturday hun, happy weekend to you
xx

Um....SATC?

@Bess --

SATC (Sex and the City) or my younger sister says, "I'm going to watch the girls." LOL

@Lelly -- The best thing about SATC 2 is Aiden is back. I have been in love with John Corbett since he was on "Northern Exposure". Great show -- do not know if it ever aired in the UK. We still quote "Friends" all the time. One of my son's friends broke up with his girlfriend because she "cheated" -- and my DH said, "Maybe she thought they 'were on a break'!" LOL

@Chels and Jess -- I hope you two have/had a fab mother daughter weekend.

Hi Chels - Just wanted to say thanks for your messages of support through my wobbles in the last couple of days! Love your sense of humour - some of your posts had me in stitches :rotflmao:

Day 15, 100%, Andy Murray and *swoon* Aiden

Hi girlies, thank you all for your lovely messages. Hope you are all ok!!

Yesterday was sooo busy, out and about so I didnt have time to post. I will have an afternoon of it methinks, trying to catch up with you all.

Went for my consultation yesterday and I'm meeting the surgeon on 10th February and I am definitely going to go for it - bit scared but mainly excited.

We popped into Starbucks and I had a black coffee and managed to totally ignore all the goodies that were on offer. Then last night I went to DD2's for a wii evening. I was so annoyed with her FIL who lives with them. He knows I'm doing CD. I took a chicken breast and a few salad leaves with me, plus water flavouring. All bloody evening "Do you want tomatoes?" "Would you like cucmber?" Would you prefer a piece of our chicken that has been cooked in butter and garlic?" "Would you like a wine/squash/sure you don't want our chicken as it is much more succulent than yours" Grrrrrrrrrrr Even my SIL was shaking his head in disbelief. The final "Would you like a sip of my extra stength lager?" was the final straw. What is wrong with people? He did everything he could to derail me but he didn't succeed, so some Brownie points for me I think.

Despite all that I had a nice evening.

Today...hmm, which AM to choose? Murray or Marr. I opted for the former. Oh dear :cry:All these commentators/pundits say "Oh he has unfortunately come up against a person who is on fire" Why don't our players 'come out on fire' . By the beginning of the second set I decided I couldn't cope with the inevitable, so just had it on in the background while I did some ironing. Maybe next time Andy.

Mel, Aiden is just dreamy. He makes me go all unnecessary  I definitely would kick him into bed lol.

Sun is shining here although really cold so I am going to wrap up and toddle down to the newsagents. Sunday papers..........my absolute pleasure......affairs, corruption, divorces. So glad my life is boring :D

Have a great day all and will try and get through all of your diaries. xxx

Afternoon Chels --

Have you ever seen "Northern Exposure"? John Corbett aka Aiden was one of the stars (the main character was played by one of the stars from Numb3rs -- Rob Morrow -- FBI agent).

It is fab show that first started airing in the U.S. in May of 1991. I have all six seasons on DVD. The more recent programme"Men in Trees" was a remake of this show -- they adjusted the storyline from a male NY doctor living in a small town in Alaska, to a female New York advice writer living in a small town in Alaska -- but many of the characters where the same (and storylines).

Anyway, a younger (even hotter -- hard to believe but true) John Corbett played the part of the ultra-sexy very spiritual radio DJ. And, I've been in love with him for 20 years, now.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Northern-Exposure-Season-1-DVD/dp/B0000BK6S0

Season one has been reduced from 24.99 to 3.99 pounds on Amazon.co.uk!!! Free Delivery. Like most series it takes a couple of episodes to get into it -- but you'll be hooked. And, the character that John Corbett played became a bigger role.

Hi hunnie, Well done for staying strong! :D

Re Twilight, I`m an old bag but I LOVE it!! I even go to the conventions to meet the actors/actresses lol

I def agree with MM though, You need to read the books first as there is so so much more to them than the films. Out of all of the films, Twilight is still my favourite :heartpump:

I hope you`re having a lovely Sunday xxX
