Chelsea Lou - The Ventura adventure, not a sinking ship!

Bless you CW. Yes, feeling a tad relieved :D If I was a dog (?) I would have scratched all the grass up then run round the park at 100 miles an hour lol

Ha ha, I have that piccie of you running around in circles in my head now.... I took dulcolax last night as haven't "been" since Monday and it worked fine this morning, dont want to leave it too long before going as dont want to make it any harder than it normally is.... anyway TMI.

Hope you have a great day today....

Oh GE, don't do what I did.... a Movicol on Tuesday then another yesterday morning. No joy so had another when I got home from work and Eureka!!! Job done, or so I thought. Today, however, OMG embarassment at work big time!!! Like water. Mad, stiff-legged dash, clenching for all I was worth. In hindsight, perhaps the evening Movicol wasn't necessary after all. Talk about from the sublime to the ridiculous. More like You Reek A!!!!! :D:D:D And that, ladies, is definitely TMI!!!!!

Actually, I think what happened to you might qualify as a "disability" -- I wonder if you can get better parking (closer to the door for rapid loo access).

MM

Lol, I had no warning, went to get out of my car and ......whoops........bit of an emergency situation occurring.......get up the stairs, get up the stairs. Safe. Sigh with relief.

I have a problem with 'going' anyway if I am out/at work/at friends' etc. There's no place like home......there's no place like home.....there's no place......

Follow the Brown brick road...... Enough Chels, you are being disgusting *slaps own wrist* :D

:D Very funny MM.

Poor Chels, I do sympathise - lactose intolerance does just the same to me, it was a nightmare until I discovered the cause. Perhaps you should just take something gentle now like psyllium husks (Holland & Barratt) to keep things the way you'd like them. Hope you feel better now. xx

LOL Chels --

I have a sister with whom I hate to travel because the longer we are away -- the meaner she gets. (As she will not use any loo for a two but(t) her own. How's that for "disgusting" TMI?)

See -- my "blue card" idea would have been handy. I know that people who have "temporary conditions" can get them.

BTW -- I apologise for all the typos. I should check my posts better before I post.

Re: Raising kids -- no book could ever cover everything or apply to every event in parenting. And, as I am sure you know, it is amazing how different siblings can be. My two may look alike... but the similarities stop there.

So, here's to not being Mother of the Year -- but to doing the best we can, at the time, under the circumstances, with the cards (kids) we were dealt!

Day 12 continued

Sheesh, what a day so far!! Time has flown, busy at work, no time really to write this diary or should that read diarr...........no, won't go there:D and I am trying to read everyone elses too. Will get there eventually.

First shake down at 12:30, lots of black coffee and managing the water reasonably well.

My Beck book arrived yesterday and I finally managed to read a couple of chapters during my lunch break today. It looks very interesting and I am hoping that the techniques I will learn will help me not only with weight issues but also when I get my down days. My brain needs totally rewiring! I will get there, like my diary's title says, I'm sorting it.

My evening yesterday was good. Settled down to watch the Crash Diet programme, just getting into it when my Sister called on the phone. Usually I am more than happy to chat away but........I missed 3/4 of the programme. When I told her that I was watching it, she said that she was Sky +ing it to watch later grrrrrrrrrrrr. I hope she found it entertaining, enlightening etc etc cos I bloody didn't!! :D

Overslept this morning and had 15 minutes to get washed, made-up, dressed and out the door. Consequently I look like I've been dug up today as only had the time for foundation and mascara, no eyeshadow, blusher or lippy. Perhaps I should tell everyone that I am going for the "pale and interesting" look? I managed to get into work on the dot!! 8:00 not a second sooner or later. The trouble is......I don't know about anyone else...but I feel like I am chasing my a*se all day when I oversleep.

Anyway, enough waffle from me. Going to catch up on all your news and post on your diaries as and when I can.

Have a good day ladies xx

Enough waffles? Can there ever be enough waffles? With syrup, preferably. Oh... WAFFLE. Sorry. Mind keeps running on to food today.

Have to say your diary-ah has provided lots of laughs today Chels, thanks for that and be better soon...

xxx

@Katycakes -- Just Stop It... now, I have frozen chocolate chip waffles in the freezer and they are calling to me. It just like Alice in Wonderland... it is a bit muffled but I can hear them saying, "com'on eat me! You know you want to..." ;)

HAHAHAHA speaking of touching base, I know exactly what words would have went through your mind whilst reading that...

"Touching base?!?! It was more like touching cloth!" :D

xxx

Well..........she made me say that!! All her corporate speak. "Let me find you a window in my diary to come and see you" etc etc. It winds me up, as you know :D :D I'm your SISTER..........not a corporate client!!!!!!!!!!!! lol

all this running has got to be good for us...

Oh mother you do make me laugh.
Auntie Susan calling and ruining your programme – Classic! :D

No doubt she called you to “touch base” and to organise another phone call in her diary? At a very specific time on a certain day for so many minutes? Then she’ll pencil it in her schedule, rush around like a blue-arsed fly and be late for it anyway? LOL. I shouldn’t take the Mick really, but she is funny. :D

Very proud of you that you are on Day 12 and going strong. No C-words for you either – very impressed (cigs and choc...dirty cow!) :D

Remember you’re beautiful, successful and Jess and Johnny loves ya! xxxxx :p
Awwwwwwww and awwwwwwwww Johnny, haven't felt his sarcasm and wit for ages lol. Love you both too xxx

Day 12 No sh*t Sherlock.. final word on the (waste) matter

I decided to play detective this afternoon and investigate and get to the bottom (?) of my problem of earlier today. Then I remembered. I cooked and ate a chicken breast yesterday. It was only 1 day out of date and it smelled only very slightly weird, so I thought I would take a chance. I think that it was the chicken that was the culprit and not the Movicol, the two other breasts I cooked with it to have cold over the next two evenings are now in the bin. Lesson learnt :D Now all I've got to do is go on local radio and give them the shipping forecast.....bit breezy lol.

Ok, end of subject.

I bought a pair of really nice black patent shoes with a cork wedge from Next a couple of summers ago. They looked so nice in the shop but they have to be the most goddamn awful, uncomfortable shoes ever manufactured. I've worn them for the last 2 days and by the time I got home tonight I could barely walk. Us ladies do suffer for the sake of fashion. I ran a nice hot bubble bath and did some much-needed DIY reflexology on them and the throbbing is gradually subsiding.

Give me bare feet or flip-flops any day of the week.

No other dramas - it is now almost 5:40pm. Had a porridge, so that is 2 down and one to go ....... I always feel hungry in the evenings and no chicken

I do hope you have had a good day today and hope you have a relaxing and tummy trimming Thursday evening xxx
