Elementary, my dear Watson... problem solved, and glad it didn't cause any more upset than that, could have been nasty. Any chance you can get some chicken or cottage cheese for later? Or else just have an extra pack maybe. Ouch about the shoes too... I am hopeless and don't do heels at all, or only mini ones on rare occasions. Think you have done really well today Chels, especially being so busy at work too, yay for surviving and hope the bubble bath helped. Think I will plan one for later as well, sounds like a plan.

Thanks hon, I feel really good at the moment. I have energy, purpose, rediscovered my sense of humour, lavatorial though that is, and feel connected, especially to you guys on minis. All sharing a common goal and its fab.

Treat yourself to a nice soak, sooooo much more indulgent than a shower. I did think about lighting a load of candles for my bath but my feet were throbbing so much, I just dived in. Sod the candles lol.

Lol, I have discovered my sense of humour which has been sadly hiding away for months now. You lot all make me smile too, which gives me something to bounce off. Hooray for banter and giggles

I I bought a pair of really nice black patent shoes with a cork wedge from Next a couple of summers ago. They looked so nice in the shop but they have to be the most goddamn awful, uncomfortable shoes ever manufactured. I've worn them for the last 2 days and by the time I got home tonight I could barely walk. Us ladies do suffer for the sake of fashion. I ran a nice hot bubble bath and did some much-needed DIY reflexology on them and the throbbing is gradually subsiding.

Give me bare feet or flip-flops any day of the week.

I dont suffer for the sake of fashion, my footwear consists of loads of pairs of DMs, at the moment I wear biker ones, but for Christmas this year I got a pair of Union Jack ones (DH had a real hunt for them as they stopped making the ladies sizes last year), my birthday last year I got some heels but they are black and white brogue with heel DMs and the christmas 2009 I got a pair of high DMs with Red Roses up the side...... not sure I have any shoes, I wear DMs all year round, and as you can imagine I rarely wear dresses, although I used to wear ankle length skirts with DMs, I even went to the Savoy once with ankle length skirt, and black DMs...... ha ha

Lol, tummy is gurgling away like a good 'un, so full of wind but it is hard to fart with any confidence at this present moment in time. Thank God I live alone

Tee hee, got my own back on my sister by phoning her. She was in the middle of doing her reverse sit-ups (?) and I just kept on jabbering away and you could tell by her tone that she wanted to get away.........she suddenly interrupted me by saying "so shall I ring you tomorrow night?" Love it.

I am just about to do some ironing that I didn't get around to doing last night, then telly in bed. I love Thursdays BBC 1 News followed by Question Time. Oh how rock and roll am I??????

Greeneyes, I love DMs too... I have one green pair now, held in common between me & dd, but they're not broken in yet and give both of us awful skinned heels on the left foot! Might take a hammer to them. I love flat boots, but usually dinkier than DMs these days... I always used to wear my DMs with a sticky out skirt and black tights... lol!

Good morning lovely girlies, I do hope your Friday is going swimmingly. Andy Murray's match isn't going very swimmingly at the moment, one set down and serving for the second. He is having trouble holding serve, so I'm not too confident Pah!! He has just lost serve (again) and we are now into a tie-break.

I only had my 3 shakes yesterday, which is a first for me as I've been having a bit of chicken or some tuna in the evenings.. really pleased with that.

I hope your day will be ACE today, with lots of LOVE flowing your way.
