Chelsea Lou - The Ventura adventure, not a sinking ship!

Oh glad you feel a bit better hun, Life's all good with me, been a lazy moo today, couple of appts then had a few free hours but have spent them lazing about and not doing anything productive...oh well, tomorrow is another day! glad to be back on my 1200 plan again and planning etc, water gain mostly gone now so phew!! Loving the sun, keep popping out to the decking and soak up some Vit D, still feeling chilly though somehow!

Enjoy the rest of your day hun

You can get some really good bargins in charity shops designers dresses etc at a fraction of the cost and most of them hardly worn, I like going to charity shops in "footballers wives" areas.

As for euromillions sorry but I'm going to win it, I'll remember all my "minimims CD friends" though treat us all to a new wardrobe.

Hehehe, best get myself over to Cobham then, loads of the Chelsea players live there and their wives might have discarded the odd posh frock or two........only trouble is, they are all so slim, so doubt that I'd find anything of theirs to fit :sigh:

Nice to know that we wouldn't be forgotten if you win tonight......... I pledge to do the same if I win.......you can all have a few grand's worth of clothes, my treat :D

xx

I'd better go and buy a ticket! And yep, same here, new wardrobes for everyone plus the paying off of the odd mortgage or twenty. Then set up a foundation for a cause I'd need to think about and want to help, after all, I think I'd still want something to do...Such fun for a couple of pounds worth of ticket isn't it, and of course when I don't win (never have, not even £10!) I know MY money goes to charity, not in admin etc! :D Winning all round then...

I know just what you mean about the free food Chels, felt just the same, don't worry, if you follow it properly :)o) it works a treat! xx

p.s. I used to feel the same sometimes after eating - bloated and so on, now I find (when I remember) that if I chew each mouthful really well, more than you'd think, it doesn't happen. Oddly not eating bread helps muchly as well.

Morning Yang,

Sunny here -- finished loads of baking, and am off for a "ladies lunch" in a few (I'll got with a South Beach type meal). I went to "Wive's Crystal Bingo" last night and for the first ever, I did not win anything... not even a raffle! So, I am certain that in order to keep the universe in balance, I shall be winning the Euro Millions this evening. But, I will contribute towards new wardrobes for my Minimins BFFs! ;)

I hope you are having Fab Friday!!!

Know what you mean about "footballers wives" clothes not fitting but in the areas where they live there are lots of "wealthy" women size 12/14+ etc who give their "cast offs" to charity shops, I got a lovely dress year in the "sale" section of a charity shop for £5, wore it once decided it wasn't "me". My daughter was selling clothes on ebay for charity (she is raising money for bowel cancer) so I gave it to her and she got £50 for it! I didn't feel guilty about making money on the charity shop dress because all of the £50 raised went to charity.

Morning Chels, ooh i love a charity shop bargain! gotme some lovely going out shoes for my trip, they were £5 and so comfy too! used to take the kids every week and get them a book or dvd, they didn't know the difference between new and used and a pressie is a pressie.

Hope all is good with you today hunny and you andsettling in nicely with your newplan.

Have a lush weekend

Hi everyone, hope your Saturdays are going well. I had a bad day yesterday, as Thursday I had a few glasses of wine and boy did I have the munchies yesterday. I could not stop. Sooo tired as well, which didnt help. I figured that SW didnt start properly until today so wasnt stressing about it but have made mental note that alcohol really doesnt do the diet any favours on a couple of fronts

Today I have done a bit of cooking, chilli and another chicken dish and have put them in the freezer, so that I will be a bit more organised during the working week.

Had a little trawl around a few charity shops but didnt purchase anything. Also went to DD1s to watch the England game.

Listening to a bit of music now before I veg out in front of the telly.

Am liking the 'like' button...I did give a shout to Pierce about having the facility, so not sure if I had anything to do with it at all but pleased we have got it all the same.

On the drinking front (see Greeneyes' diary) my DD2s future FIL drinks 8-10 large cans of Stella a night and has the DTs during the day......he came home from the pub last night drunk (I was babysitting the twins) and he'd fallen into a wall on the way home and had cut all his nose. Blood everywhere, which wouldnt stop. Today, apparently, he looks like he's been in a car accident. Swollen, cut nose and two black eyes, plus bruises to his face. Do you think that might make him think twice about getting lashed again? Doubt it myself. I dont know how people can drink to excess every night of the week. He's got to visit clients all next week, so he will look good in his business suit............not.

Catcha later lovely girlies xxx

Hi Yang,

Re: the future FIL... I hope he does not fall overboard.

Oh Great,

Now we need a dislike button. That is horrible. Tell Jess that you have experienced a religious conversion and she and Johnny cannot share a cabin until they married. Then you and she can swap cabinmates!

Lol MM, so a dislike button, any other buttons you can think of that we can ask Pierce for? A yuk button, bleurrgh button, been-a-naughty-girl-and-eaten-off-plan button?????????:D Not that we would need to use one of those.................much!!!!

I'm having to share a bleeding cabin with the old soak lol!!!

Well that's going to make for a memorable trip! Will he fit through the porthole - if you feel the need to push him overboard? Mind you, you will by then, so you can escape - just make sure there's a handsome Sailor to catch you as you squeeze through! (With a boat, who'll row you to a beautiful, desert island.......!)xx

@Bess,

But only after she's walked DD2 down the (a)isle, should she escape to a desert isle with a handsome castaway.

Hi Chels! Bit quiet this morning? ;) x

Sorry, work is manic today........10,000 payslips went out last Friday and 9,999 seem to have a problem with their pay and the phones have been mental, grrrrrrr!!

Plus, losing the hour for BST seems to have knocked me sideways.....I feel sooooo tired.

How are you today Bess? xx

Lonely! Hooraay! Someone to play with at last!! xxx

Now, about this walk round Hampton Court?......You can tell me- there's no one listening! See? Just us! :D xx
