Chelsea Lou - The Ventura adventure, not a sinking ship!

Hi Yang,

I did see that story... it was very touching and fills one's heart with hope.

My uncle loved his dogs -- he always had a few. Jinx was his only dog for the last years' of his life. The dog was a great comfort for him, as he passed away from melanoma and it was a long lingering demise. Not a great way to go. I was never fond of Jinx. He was Vizsla and my uncle had always had English Setters or Springer Spaniels previously. However, after I heard what a comfort Jinx was for my uncle, I warmed to the dog.

Quick look round at the offending, "non-existent, dodgy paving slab" - just to let passing motorists know that tripping up wasn't my fault lol lol. Does anybody else do that???????

Um.....yes they do!

Where did you get the SW directory from Chels? xx

Are you sure that Crush :heartpump: is married? xx

I ordered it from the SW online bookshop, only took a couple of days to be delivered - they must realise how urgent it is :D

Oh yes he is, most definitely :cry:I often ask him how his family are, hoping that he would say "The boys are fine but I am divorcing the biatch that I am married to" but it never happens.......:8855:

You just crack me up!! :D xx

Lol, my aim is to please m'lady!!!

We actually had a conversation when he was signing out earlier, discussing local boys football teams. One of his son's plays for the team that my grandson is just joining and I knew I was doing it and just couldn't help myself.........Off came the glasses and the headset, in went the false teeth  lol, not really and I was preening and playing with my hair...........the whole flirty works. Next time I speak to him I am going to sit on my bl**dy hands. I am so embarrassed. Anyone with rudimentary body language skills would be able to read me like a book. Stupid thing is, because of his domestic situation, if he really chatted me up, I'd run a mile!!!!!!!!

:D

Well, if he's got any sense, he'll be flattered that you like him! xx
Nothing wrong with a bit of flirting now is there? Makes the world go round! :D xx

I'm here to stay lol

Thank you chels read your facebook message 3 times today and your right!!;););)

Just because you are on a diet, does not mean that you can't look at the menu.

(Not really appropriate for this forum, but it kind of says... "look don't touch" in a creative fashion.)

Lol, certainly makes my world go round. It turns an otherwise dull and tedious job into something worth getting out of bed for ;)

Haha Mel, like the diet/menu analogy a lot. Although one could say that even though you are on a diet, there is nothing to stop you from "swilling it around in your mouth, for a little taste before spitting it out" :D;) xx

Morning Chels..... just asking a favour really (although it is a bit late now..... ha ha). I was wondering if you could look something up for me and tell me if it was a free food. I have prunes in juice, I know fruit is free in juice but are prunes. They are actually Tesco pitted prunes in juice and come in a big plastic jar thing..... but I did eat 6 this morning, was hungry and didn't know what else to eat that was sweet.

Thank you..... and enjoy looking at your menu xx

Another request Chels? Please could you see what it says about Tesco Yoo fat free Yoghurt, 180g? I'll get my own book next week at the group I promise! xx

I have the last version of the book but I cannot find it, just thought if you had the online thingy you could check on there instead? (Cheeky smile.......)

Couldn't find that in the book or online but if it is fat free then it should be free IMO. Someone on the forum might know hon.

I really don't mind. Sorry I didn't answer earlier, my internet was out first thing this morning and have been playing catch-up all day :D

I couldn't find them anywhere Alli, where do you get your info from and thanks for putting me right...would hate to give out duff information xx

I used syns online - but used the keywords for "yoo" as it's not listed as a Tescos yogurt. :)

I hope it's the right one - think the brand name is Nom.

Ah, that would be where I went wrong, I just typed in Tesco's fat free yogurt, I also looked it up in the directory and couldnt find anything there either. Mine field - could give someone really useless advice and they put on 3lbs..........ooh the responsibility :D

Thanks very much Alli, I couldn't find them at all, I didn't think to put in 'Yoo' Pity they aren't free like Muller lights. xx

Morning Yang,

I hope that is sunny and warm where you are -- and that you are enjoying that fabulous view, as you do.

It is lovely and sunny here in Cambs.
DD is out the door with little Easter gifts for her teacher and classroom assistants, DH is out the door dressed for "casual Friday" in his slim fit jeans (the b*ast*rd), and DS is still asleep (as he went out to the cinema after his class last night). Little Dog is stretched out in a sunny streak along the carpet (just like a cat) -- and I have doen some chores and am trying to talk myself into going to Zumba. However, I am starting to get that "I have so much to do and am leaving in a few days anxiety." And, keep thinking I should stay here and get something done.

I hope that you have a good weekend. And, DS says that Chelsea still has a shot at the Premiership -- so you just need to believe in the Blue!
