Chelsea Lou - The Ventura adventure, not a sinking ship!

Brave girl Chels, you know I thought I'd be the last person to consider this, but last weekend after catching a glimpse of myself in a mirror, I began to wonder. So keep us informed please.......x

Bess, I certainly will. That is another reason for keeping Fred/Dick at bay, nice eyes, fat arse??? Don't think so do you? :D:D:D I've worked it out with Easter/Royal Wedding/May Day I can get roughly 2 weeks off work (to let the bruising go down) for only 5 days out of entitlement at work.........genius!!! xx

Brilliant planning Missus! x

Hi CL -- Does this mean you'll miss the wedding? If so, I can use your invite! (I figured as you Brits are probably paying for it -- everyone ought to be invited.)

I had a friend do this surgery -- her health insurance actually paid for it as the droopy skin was affecting her vision. It made a huge difference in her look -- she looked "rested" and "cheerful". I think before she always looked exhausted and despondent. Good on you for doing this -- I am sure you'll be pleased.

Wow, how exciting, wish I could afford a Tummy Tuck, after 10 children, 3 of them caesereans I could definately do with it...... doctor didn't want to know when I went to see her last time I lost all the weight.... do you have to stop CD to have an operation tho?

Haha, Mel, I plan to have the surgery on Weds 27th and it will involve a 1 or 2 night stay in the clinic, so should be home in time to sit in front of the TV for the wedding. I daresay there will be a tear or two shed from me, wondering if Diana will be looking down on her boy. They look such a lovely couple and have really put their relationship to the test over the 8 years or so they've been together. He looks a much more loving and down-to-earth than his father and I truly hope they are happy ever after xxx

Nice to hear about your friend's success story. That's what I am aiming for, to look refreshed. Thanks for that xx

Cor GE, if only I had the money for a tummy tuck too. If my lottery numbers come up tonight I'll book you in with me......my treat :D

I am hoping by the end of April I will be 810 ing it at least I'll have done 90 days by then and hopefully the question of CD won't be a relevant one. However, the best laid plans and all that.................. :sigh:

:D Day 11 almost over. Movicol magic occurred when I got home from work :p I know.............TMI!!!

It occurred to me today that maybe the reason why only (?) 5lbs came off this week is that I quit the evil weed 1 month ago (tomorrow). So the loss is, in actual fact, a very good one. They say that you can gain lbs stopping smoking, so I've turned yesterday on its head and I am going to say WELL DONE ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D:snooty:

Double whammy... bye bye to both ciggies and lbs... brilliant!

xxx

Wow go you, ciggies and food all at the same time....

Well done hon your doing fab and I am so pleased that the Movicol worked for you! Its awaful when you feel constipated.....
Good luck with your appointment I am sure you look beautiful as you are !!! Your doing so well xx

Bless you CW. Yes, feeling a tad relieved :D If I was a dog (?) I would have scratched all the grass up then run round the park at 100 miles an hour lol

Glad things have sorted themselves out! How many lbs lighter now? You are one strong lady, dumping the fags and dieting at the same time - well done!!

Lol at the thought of Chels scratching up the grass and running round park at 100mph. That will definitely impress the lads at BMF!

Happy thursday Miss Chelsea!

Hope you are having a good Thursday. MM

Come on Chels, I'm looking for my daily fix of wisdom, optimism and fun from you! Where are you? Hope you are ok. xx

Day 12

Hi everyone,

I'm still here and still focussed, determined and not hungry. My work colleague is on a day's leave today so I have to do her job as well as my own, hence the silence.......I am having to work

I will catch up on all your diaries later on, when its not so manic. I always look forward to reading everyone's news.

Bye for now xxxx

PS Work skirt was slightly loose this morning :D

Fab about the work shirt! Speaking of work, I really must get going!
