Q Quak Gold Member 2 February 2011 #210 I struggled too, could not get it to go crispy, but it still tasted ok, very tough to eat, maybe I should have boiled it a bit first.............

Jim Big Boy 3 February 2011 #211 I've never tried to get it crispy, but I have fried it up with bacon lardons.
Dietkitty Rebel without a calorie 3 February 2011 #212 If you remove the stalks you can put it in the oven and it comes out really crispy. Keep an eye on it though as it burns quickly.

British_Claire_84 Gold Member 3 February 2011 #216 Dinner = lunch jim! Not decided tea (most peoples dinner) yet. I'm sure I'll figure out the flax thing Bren. I can't seem to do anything other than sweet mims effectively. My porridge ends up a real rubbery gloopy consistency.
