Constantly dizzy- back from the wilderness

Well Its WI day for me today, And Ive been pretty good hiding from the easter bunny:) and avoiding the madness of PMT cravings so I'm really hoping my angelic week pays off!

Were having a taster session tonight combined with a Royal wedding themed party evening (everyone is supposed to go dressed up either as a Bride....errr I DONT think so  been there and NOT doing it again thanks very:eek: much:mad:) or a party guest, so Ive borrowed my mums fancy hat from my Brothers wedding :p

Im busy today making syn free scotch eggs to take....using extra lean pork mince & seasoning & cous cous to coat them - Ive not made them before so I hope they come out ok .

Well must get off & do something useful I suppose, got a friend calling in for coffee this morning to show me her new braces .....not the sort you hold your trews up with lol. Shes in her late 20s and her dad has just paid for her to have 'tracks' put on both top and bottom teeth for her (shes been really self conscious about her 'fangs' and wonky teeth for years) and shes been so ill with ovarian cancer....which thankfully shes now in remission.....but last month she lost her boyfriend to kidney cancer :( so shes had a really shockingly awful time of things and this is a really lovely thing for her dad to do - they have only recently been reunited after some massive family feud from when she was tiny

Anyway.....Im waffling, but I've got this lovely warm happy feeling in my tummy today cos something lovely has happened for someone :)

Im off ta ta for now :D x x

I'm dancing, Dizz.

The namby pambies seem to work just as well on the ceiling as they did on the floor - maybe even better. Who knows?

My kitchen smells like a big eggy fart

Ta for the Dancing Jimbob !!

Right ......Ive finally conquered the 2.5 stone mark (god I thought I was never gonna get there ) I'm now a woman on a mission to tackle the next bit!!
I'm not going to be the only one on here who hasnt got lots of shineys AND that magic TARGET sticker ;)

Had a bit of a kick in the 'imaginary balls' today, my magic ear Op should have been all done by the end of April :sigh: Good old LibCon doing away with the 18week maximum wait times now means that its looking more like its going to be the end of may possibly June before I have stage 1 done :( so Ive been a right old grumpy cow today.....but at least getting my shiney sticker has cheered me up :)

Im off the see the neuro team at Pinderfields tomorrow about my migraines too so hopefully they will change my meds a bit.

Righteo....time for my choccy options treat & bed I think x x

Thanks Pesty....seems it took forever to get this far (going the scenic route didnt help tho lol)

Well the woman on a mission has been more like a fart in a trance so far today :sigh: woke up late.....so had not time for breakfast & had to rush to set off for Pinderfields. Then we missed the exit on the motorway and didnt even realise.....so ended up leaving west yorkshire completeley & seeing a sign saying welcome to the Riding of East Yorkshire  we had to turn off and then go miles on the M18 to get back on the M62 back to wakefield, so we were an hour late for the appointment

Anyway, I got seen by the neuro team & they've altered my meds again. I'm also trying a different triptan to take immediately when a migraine starts, but this one is a 'wafer' under my tongue (your stomach slows down when a migraine starts apparently so tabs arent dissolved as quickly) If after I've tried this for 3 separate migraines its not helping, they can give me some injectable ones to do myself.....so there are still some options to look at :)

Im off to get some lunch now cos im flipping hungry!! pasta n sauce is just about ready and some pineapple for pud me thinks x x

Well I've been very good this weekend (gives myself a pat on the back)

I did use my entire days syns on a scone/butter/jam that really wasn't worth it though yesterday (it was tooooo small!!! lol)

found some of the 1 syn low alchohol lager in sainsbury so thats to be sampled sometime soon if we have a BBQ again (we live in hope with this rain at the mo)

I'm still not getting on here too often at the mo as I've not got my new meds properly sorted yet......but I am dropping in when I can, just not updating my food diary too often yet.

I'm still dancing for you guys on your WI days though ;) x x x

You have to dance for me, Dizz.
Otherwise them thar pompoms won't do the business for you.

Fair's fair!

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh Dizz, I've been away, you've been away, I have missed you :D

Hope you feel better soon honey. I'm back in the game after a three week blast on some lovely steroids.

That coupled with various celebrations (Bank Holiday, Easter, footy team being promoted) has led to me going out of my target range (in the wrong direction) so I am on the wagon and looking forward to 'seeing' you soon.

Well done on the shiny, that is AMAZING.

Hope drugs get sorted and Dizz gets better.

Muchos love xxx

That's ok then.
My pompoms are conditioned now to coming out of their box as soon as I get up on a Thursday. Sometimes even before I go to bed on Wednesday.
It would confuse them if I said they couldn't play!

2lb off for me today - pleased with that considering I got invited last minute to the Toby carvery yesterday & I DID have yorkie,1 roastie & a bit of stuffing with gravy  so I reckon it was a +15 syn day.

4.5 lb to my 3 stone shiney......I can smell it but can't quite see it yet :p

* week is due next week so I need to be ultra good as I usually get a sts or a pathetic loss at best :sigh:

Well done, Dizz!

I didn't even get a chance yesterday to come on & tell you I was shaking the pompoms - but I was. I have very tired arms today, but at least it was worth it.
Onwards towards the next shiny now?
