Cookie's diary to be joyously slim

Hello, one night down, one to go then two horrid late shifts to follow. Working Eid was unpleasant, and apparently there are two hence another night shift tonight. For one set of Muslims Eid was yesterday. For the remaining set Eid is today. Why? Who knows but its going to be another long, possibly longer night than last night.

Anyway additions to food eaten yesterday, I ate some Haribo sweets and 9 tortilla chips which together I counted as 10 syns, I didn't eat my SW bar or my flake. I also drank very little as I was so far away from a toilet so in the 10 hours only had 500ml water which isn't very good so to make up for it I'm drinking loads before I start work and think ill bring a flask in of tea as I was desperate for a brew and couldn't get one.
 
Moan over food for today. I've flicked my meals around as I'll be eating in the van in a church car park again tonight.

Breakfast = 1/2 gala melon.
Lunch = chicken bean New Yorker (chicken, bacon, 40g leerdamer light cheese (hex a), baked beans & 2 tbsp jerk/BBQ sauce) with broccoli, cauliflower, butternut squash, mushrooms. Fruit salad & yogurt.
Dinner = ham & egg salad with 2tbsp couscous, (mixed lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, radish, peppers, carrot, beetroot, vinegar), fruit, yogurt & 2x SW hi fi light bars (hex b)

Also I've just read on the SW website that if doing SE you can have double hex a & b which is good to know i can have a bit more if I need it. Fingers crossed I don't have any sweeties tonight.

Just make sure you have 3 meals a day and include 2/3 Superfree with each and a 1/3 Free food. I looked at your food for yesterday and you didnt have your full allowance of B choice hun. You only had a 1/3 of a scan bran cake, you could have had the whole cake if you made it with 5 scanbran? and then you could have had another B choice on top. You didnt have your sw hi fi bars or any toast - you could have synned the cake and that would still have left you 2 B choices. Make sure you have them hun, the purpose of SE is to make you feel fuller longer so you eat less of the "bad" stuff.
Some days I was only having 1 A choice which is fine as the plan says you can have 1 or 2, BUT make sure you have 2 B choices. In between snack on superfree fruit etc, you can also have eggs or fat free yogurts.

Also remember if your having stuff which is syns - use the highest syn allowance( i.e if something is 3 on red or green and 6 on EE you would have to syn as 6)

Tonight we are going out with our neighbours and their friends for a Japanese meal. Apparently they cook it for you at your table. Sounds like fun. Hope you not having too bad a day

Hi Geordie SE is having 2/3 super free food and 1/3 free. I have to say its hard and I'm not enjoying it so I'm sticking with EE. Tonight is my last late shift and I'm all out of sorts I worked 6-3am Thursday, 6-5am Friday, 4-1 last night then 3-11 tonight. Looking forward to two days off from tomorrow.
How was the Japanese meal? X
 
Hi Cookie. Hope you're enjoying the weekend. Not looked at SE days, are they designed to give weight loss a boost where needed? I tend to,stick with EE as enjoy it :). Off on hols today YAY

I'm not enjoying it so I'm back on EE, I had a go but its too hard. EE is for me yay! Have a super time on holiday xx
 
Hello everyone, I am back on Extra Easy plan, the SE I found ok the first day but got things wrong, boring the second day and still got some of the plan wrong and I struggled yesterday so I'm back on EE yay! Phew thank goodness. I do love my fruit, veg & salads but I like it when I want to eat it and I felt I was forcing it to hit the 2/3. but happy now back on EE.

Food today:-
breakfast = cooked SW breakfast 2x light choices tesco Cumberland sausages (1), bacon, mushrooms, scrambled egg, baked beans, wholemeal toast (1/2 hex b)
Lunch = 1/2 gala melon & activia peach yogurt
Dinner = not sure yet.

Hello, firstly confession time. Who didn't go to weigh in last night? Me I went out instead, I meant to go but as my own scales should a 1.5lb gain! I thought sod it. The BF and I had a really nice time and it was good to spend some time together after my horrible shifts at the weekend. I didn't even feel bad either but today I've decided I'd make it to another meeting this week , so I think I'll go on Thursday.


Food yesterday:-
breakfast = 1/2 scan bran cake with fruit & yogurt.
Lunch = salmon & egg salad.
dinner = spaghetti bolognaise, 1.5 slices of margarita pizza. (Hex a & 9 syns)
Afters = peppa pig ice cream (3) & hi fi light SW bar.
Total = 12 syns.
 
Today I went for a good walk took about an hour and so pleased with a little body magic. I've found a meeting I can get to before my shift on Thursday yay! If I like the group I might stay although there's nothing wrong with mine just would like to see how other groups work.

Food today:-
breakfast = 1/4 scan bran cake, fruit & yogurt.
Lunch = turkey burger & cheese triangle salad, fruit & hi fi light bar (hex a).
Dinner = fish (2) with tomato rice (1) veg & gravy (1).
Afters = 1/4 scan bran cake, fruit & yogurt & 2 x tsp of Brett's chocolate pudding (4)
Total syns = 8 syns

the turkey burgers were delicious and free too yummy!

Hi Cookie - Im glad you had some quality time with your BF its nice to have some time out. Good Luck for WI on Thursday im sure you will be fine x
 
Thanks Texty, I'll let you know how it goes. Thursday might work better for my shifts too as there are four meetings on Thursdays by the same consultant.
