Daily chat...

yeah but if "eating for two" and being "allowed" an extra, would it honestly be cucumber? (She used to carry them around with her in case wherever she was eating didn't give her enough!)

lol now thats funny. Yes im sure i would crave iced buns. pork pies and pickle :D

I craved ice cubes! and on one day in particular... a

tuna sandwich (not odd you might think) ;) but when you add jam and peanut butter...starts to look distinctly weird lol

Crikey!!! Cravings are peculiar things!

Never heard of it! Potted beef... hmm...

OFF SUBJECT...

Anyone tried a Fray Bentos pie? DEFINITELY NOT DUKAN!! But my (Northern) other half couldn't believe I'd never tried one... (and while I refused to eat a whole one - even off diet - I was pretty impressed with the taste and the pastry! And being a useless pastry chef myself...)

You're right there... BUT I do have a jar of Piccalily in my fridge <she says proudly>

No I haven't ever tasted that either!

of course, but I defy you to make one as good for £1... in such a short time! 20 mins in the oven! and that's it!

(My bad habits run more to treacle sponges in tins... now you're talking!)

Not sure id be able to eat that either. I craved sausage and bacon sarnies made with thick white fresh doorstep bread and tommy sauce. I think i had one most days!
Oh and dr pepper stopped my sicky feelings and just made me feel better

Mmmmmm love em!

love treacle sponges...

as for pastry...when I was carbing, I used to make batches of shortcrust, puff, filo pastry and freeze them...cost pennies, then get beautiful cuts of meat and et voila... know what's in it and doesn't cost a bomb :)...

but those days are gone :)

hmm... dunno about brand of Piccalilli cos other half chose it... err it's yellow if that helps! hee hee!

Actually yes Chez... if you let coke lose its bubbles that's supposed to be good for sickness too isn't it? I now know that putting a fork in it helps that (amazing what you learn on internet!)
