a) I am only using 1.5 of oat bran
b) I only use frylight, so will kep an eye out that I'm not overdoing it
c) I only use skimmed milk.
d) I plan on cutting back on the crabsticks. Tasty little suckers tho!
e) Quark is def fat free
f) Off to check content of garlic puree. I am SO lazy. Will use free from now on.
I am on a contraceptive pill and I do suffer with water retention at 'that time of the month' (not due for 2 wks tho).

I will carry on as I am, although being a little more observant and fingers crossed tomorrow will be a better day.

Notice how I avoided the exercise question tho..... Hmmm, well I have only done 20 mins of walking since starting. I PROMISE to get moving. We're off to a christening now and I plan on parking further away from the church, therefore MAKING me walk further than I would normally!!!

The walking I didn't really do either :eek:

I basically upped my household chore exercise :)

so cleaning windows, taking laundry upstairs to put away as a few pieces were dry on the line (rather than taking it all up in one go)....serious autumn cleaning and decluttering exercise :)

I also carry a hand basket in the shops and carry bags to the car rather than wheeling them out in a trolley...

5 minutes up and down the stairs burns 150 calories :) and lifts bums and trims thighs :D

Some on here do swimming in favour of walking.... it's all horses for courses.... just try to increase your normal daily activity by 20 minutes....so maybe getting yourself out of puff 5 minutes before breakfast, 5 minutes before lunch, 5 minutes before in mid afternoon (combat sugar craving slumps) and then 5 minutes while tea is cooking :)

how typical is that - I just had an idea as I walked away from the pc and had to run back to type it up!! :eek:

A standard music album track tends to be around 4 minutes....so if...5 times per day you stuck on your favourite song or album for just 1 track and danced like a loon (no waltzing matilda here...) you'd have your 20 minutes and it's a great destresser :) speaking from experience :D
 
Ahh Alottolose thank you so much. I am now motivated to get my groove on LOL The little ones wont know what's hit them tomorrow. Actually they'll probably love dancing like a loon with Mummy.

All I can add (don't think it's been said) 8 crabsticks max a day - as long as you don't go over that you should be OK. Some good ideas for the exercise too, thanks Sarah!

Its a very damp day here so just going to light the stove then vacuum, then go and do some work.

My delivery was so early on sat, I got a text at 8:30 to say it would be arriving between 8:30 and 9:30 so I hurridly pulled on clothes just in time for the bell to ring.

Having a much better day. Not only is the sun shining, but I have lost 3lb and more importantly I appear to have a MUCH flatter tummy. I was so focused on the weight loss that I wasnt prepared for that. What a lovely added bonus to my day. God bless this diet.

i love the tummy thing says loads about carbs , my other half has given up bread and he says he feels a difference too just got to change the kids to a better bread and we will all be happier i think

scrumps anju says the closest friendlest bread to dukan is the allisons wholewheat(something like that ) just check anju's diary !!!

my OH and his stomach well it is growing by the day lol !!!

i rang them and they said 11.30 this morning ,let's see eh !!!

Thanks girls. I'm sticking with Attack til Thursday, that'll make 7 days on it, and hopefully a few more lbs will come off by then. I think I'll try the 1/1 approach on cruise, but any advice would be very welcomed.

2 Questions:
1. How do I update my details/stats on the left of the page. Cant seem to get back to the page to update it.
2. Can I use extra low fat phili soft cheese on Attack? I feel I may be grasping at straws with this question :D

I've been looking on the recipe thread and I'm going to make the pizza that is shown but suitable for Attack. Cant wait. I'm over the moon that some lovely lady has posted a recipe for a digestive biscuit alternative. Will try those tomorrow as Pizza will use up my bran quota today.
