Good decision imho - but what a mess and what a shame :(. At least it sounds like she has great family and friends around her who will help and support no matter what happens xx

Well ladies I'm just back from WI and guess what?? A measly STS :(
I have been so good all week.........fat lot of good its done me!!

I spent about 40mins chatting with my pharmacist this morning as I was slighty disappointed. I've come to the conclusion that this is the weight I am meant to be. I stayed the same weight last week when I ate takeways, drank wine and chocolate and I stayed the same weight this week when I drank water and ate grass!!

Previously to having my son I never weighed myself but I'm sure I was 9st 7lbs. Am sure I have some pregnancy paperwork around so I am going to double check!!

Edit**** have just checked out my maternity records- in october 2006 I weighed 63kg, I was 4 weeks pregnant. Thats exactly what I weighed today so maybe it is my ideal weight. Hmmm how odd I always thought I was lighter! Ah well feeling a little bit better now :)

Hey, a STS is a great result in terms of maintaining your overall losses. You really are doing so well. The stress of worrying about your friend probably has not helped either so next week may show a loss.
I also think you may be at your ideal weight for your build and age. Instead of stressing, you might be better to decide on a weight range that you are happy to maintain within with 9st 7lbs as the lower end and say 10st as the upper end. The scales is not the most important thing. Once your clothes are fitting well and you feel well then this is more important in the long run. Stay strong xxx

Thanks so much Irish Molly xx Your right once I can maintain under 10st I'm gonna be happy xx

I think you'll be a lot better if you just accept it Emma and try and sts at 10st or slightly under, it's obviously where you're meant to be and probably won't be too difficult to maintain......

Don't forget that you have had a child and you are getting older even if you haven't reached some of our great ages .....yet.....promise you that THEN you can complain! That said I can now get back into the clothes that I wore 20 years ago! Sad thing is that I still have some of them, shoulder pads and ra ra skirt anyone? Only joking, I haven't actually ever worn the latter:eek:

Yes Sandra your right :) I am going to accept it, havent quite plucked up the courage to change my goal weight yet but I may :)

I'm a horder- I have clothes from when I was 17 that I have that are fitting me now so happy days I suppose :)

Hey shoulder pads are fabulous dont knock them ;) I've also been known to wear a ra ra skirt!!

Way to go you ... that's amazing! See u should of trusted ur wardrobe!! Superb - that's one less thing to worry about and one more huge thing to celebrate! Pre-mummy weight - OMG that's pure dead brilliant!

:) I know right!! I was so sure I was lighter perhaps it was the flat tummy I used to have tricking me lol

Am going to just focus now on trying to tone up my lower tummy, the rest of my skin is fine thank god!! Have been doing sit ups and pilate move everyday since starting LT can feel really strong muscles on my stomach they are currently just hidden by a layer of fat lol

Well done on the STS and I am glad you are feeling a little happier about this now. All good advice and I can only agree - go with your clothes and stop fretting so much about the scales.

Thanks Mary xx

Have decided to spend weekend in my parents house. Probably a huge mistake diet wise as they have a house that only carbs live in :) Asked for an omlette with tomato and onion-was lovely! Then my mum told me there were 4 eggs in it!! Grr I usually only have 2 in there! Sitting having a few glasses of red with the family now have just pointed the bottle to be on the safe side
