WK29 D7 (Thur 28th July) - Green - WI

Oh well, todays the day...... not normally, change that to never worried about WI... but today, I do feel a bit grrr about it.... I've put on before, known I would, buit today feel a bit odd...
As it happens, I lost half a pound...not a lot, but still a loss... I think this time it was because I felt dissapointed in myself, before I haven't done so... I don't feel guilt, just dissapointment - don't know why, but I've felt a bit at odds with myself all week.
Anyway... it was still a loss, and tomorrow is a new day, and the start of a new, and better week!!

Lunch: homemade pea & mint soup, then melon and blueberries
mushy peas, petit pois, onions, oxo, galia melon, blueberries, ff fromage frais

Snack: handful of cherries

Dinner: pea & mint soup, Lentil Dahl, onion rice & raita, with small side salad
mushy peas, petit pois, onions, oxo,ainsley harriot lentil dahl, white rice, onion, ff fromage frais, cucumber, romaine lettuce, cherry tomatoes


Thought I'd better have some healthy extra's so just off to bed with my supper.
Decided not to have a treat / extra syns after WI tonight, I had enough at the weekend, so I want to start tomorrow completely fresh, and not have any carry over from tonight

Supper: hot milk and chewy bar
250ml semi-skim milk (HEA) & cranberry hifi (HEB)

I have felt a bit like that myself lately (as you know ;)) but I feel bit more optimistic today and want to get back firmly on plan. She says ... with a pub lunch coming up in an hour and a totally unprepared husband at home who says it's home-made fish & chips for tea :eek:

One of those can't be bothered sort of days....
Looking forward to seeing friends in the evening though, and not in our local.

Lunch: egg & beans on toast

This filled me up so didn't bother with dinner,
met friends, had a few beers :beer8:, well, more than a few!!

Had the normal lie-in, but not quite as late as normal, weather good, so we decided to go and ride the green lanes of the Kent countryside :character00201:so quick bekkie and out, although, I did chuck a chicken in the slow cooker for dinner

2x400g wholemeal bread (HEB), bacon, mushrooms 1 tsp mustard (0.5)

WK30 D5 (Tue 2nd Aug) - red

Oh Man.... what a day..... get an emergency work call just before 4am ...aaarghhhh, so, I didn't bother going back to bed (I get up around 05:30 anyway).... did some emails, thankfully I can work from home, was on the 05:50 train...YAWN, and in the office about 06:40.... I normally start at 0800.

Managed to leave a bit early thios evening, and missed the train by 2 flipping minutes....which gives me a half hour wait, as it's outside commute times, got off en-route, popped to the local town, and was still home normal time.

Decided to have a red day for a change, haven't done that in a while, seem to be mainly green or EE these days.

Breakfast: fruit

Lunch: large ham & tuna salad
ham, tuna, 2xdairylea light(part HEA1),mixed leaves, tomatoes, cucumber,carrot

Dinner: Chicken caesar salad extra

WK30 D6 (Wed 3rd Aug) - Green

was gonna have an EE today, as I really fancied jacket potato with tuna & sweetcorn, and I have a measured portion of lghter than light mayo in the fridge ....... can you beleive it...no tuna at work, gotta be a 1st, and no sweetcorn... I rarely have real fancies, but hey ho, wasn't to be... no spuds indoors (shopping after WI Thursday)

WK30 D7 (Thurs 4th Aug) -EE - WI

Finally decided on an EE today, after having a neutral breakfast and lunch.
Made some soup, and also some mini SW quiches - It's great working from home!!

WI wasn't great..... plus a lb, not sure why.... maybe hormones (that's what my OH reckons... sayes it's probably water retention... him making excuses for me!! bless :lilkiss: it could be just ones of those things, or maybe a catch-up from last week when I lost and probably shouldn't have (had 126 syns that week)...or maybe I just haven't eaten enough this week, whatever, it doesn't matter much in the long term plan
Could've chucked it up the wall, could've had a 'super after WI treat' but, didn't think it necessary, or sensible, would only put me in arrears for the new week.

Popped to Asda after WI...groan... got the new coconut mullerlight - not that impressed, it's OK, but little flavour of coconut, and spoilt by the fake chocolate I ended up pouring over my fruit salad...
That was a bargain...Asda whoopsie counter.. £1 pack down to 10p!!

Breakfast: Fruit & yoghurt

Lunch: SW quiche, homemade onion soup

I love a 'whoopsie' bargain! I don't usually shop in the evening but on Monday we went to Tesco at 7pm and I managed to get 4 packs of strawberries reduced to 25p, 2 packs of exotic fruits reduced to 50p but I just missed out on a panini with was 3p!!:eek: Never mind - not SW friendly anyway ;)

Still managed to spend £100 though ... grrr!
 
It's great when you get a bargain - good job you missed out on the pannini ;-)

A couple of weeks ago I bought him a chocolate cheesecake - it was one of their deep dish, super chocolaty ones - about £3:50 or something......10p and it was so rich, he managed less than a 1/4. we used to eat 1 cheesecake between the 2of us!!!

Late afternoon, we popped out, I wanted a new top for a party we're going to next week, bought a bright red, with lace top... rather nice, also covers my bulgy bits, and I bought OH some new black jeans..... we also went into the Harley Davidson dealership....Mmm, a bit tempted, might arrange a test-ride, we'll see

Hey Deb. First of all well done on losing a lb :clap: Secondly, you know how I've been the last few weeks ... maybe we are hitting a 6 month brick wall or something?

I gave myself a wee shake-up this week ... only had one day at the weekend where we drank booze (more than enough though ;)) and had salmon for my tea Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday, lol. Not intentional ... just happened to buy a lovely pack of it and didn't want to waste it! Result was I lost 2 lbs :) The thing is I know this isn't possible every week so I've just got accept the good weeks when they come along ...

Cheers, yeah, I've already decided that I'm going to try cutting out the beer.... but not this week, as Fri, Sat, & Sun have been superboozy
well, Friday was OK, and less than my 'normal' Friday night...... Saturday family party - really important, went to Harvetster to ensure I didn't eat the buffet, and that worked well, I only had 2 small pieces of pork pie..... and decided that what I thought I'd been missing, I can do without!! - but beer.... lost count, can't remember - probably double figures
Sunday...well, least said the better!!! - that was hotel cooked brekkie, and well, probably the same with the beer!!
Going to forget Sat & Sun, count them as 'off plan' days, and start from scratch, although I will eat some syns, as not having any probably isn't any good, so as of Friday - day 1 of next week, 5-15 per day, everyday.... will average 10 I think, even if it's chocolate & crisps!....But no beer (or whisky)
Will probably add in a few more red days too....been a bit heavy on the green side recently, so, yep, next week, more red...and I love salmon, so will get some in :)
