well,hoping the fish works next week :)

WK32 D7 (Thur 18th Aug) - EE - WI

Breakfast: fruit
apple, banana, pear

Lunch: homemade french onion soup and toasted cheese pitta, crisps
onion, oxo, wholemeal pitta (HEB) lowlow cheese ( HEA), lettuce, tomato, space raiders (3)


Dinner: taster night at class
moussaka, onion soup, courgette & leak rissoto, chicken & peppers, spicy lamb balls, lamb donor, fruit salad, roasted vegetables & rice

post WI dinner: chicken mughsot

Supper & snacks:
cheese & onion pom bear (4.5), WW jaffa bar (5) WW caramel cake bar (4.5)

did a taster session at weigh in, so I made French Onion soup with croutons - went down well, good comments
The mousaka from the red book was fantastic, there was some 'afters' but I didn't bother except the fruit

:wow:what a night..... had targeted a STS as I was away at the weekend.....
instead of my normal drink on a Friday, and have a few syns between Sat & Thurs, this week I counted Friday....ignored Sat & Sun completely, and carried on Monday..... so actually had syns for a change..... it paid off, or something did, or it was a kickstart....
3lb off - SOTW - 2st sticky....flipping 'eck, I'll have to get mullered of a weekend again!!! Not really, goinna give up the booze for a few weeks, see what happens...at worst I'll be healthier, even if it doesn't make a lot of difference to my weight

WK33 D1 (Fri 19th Aug) - red

Good day..... went to the pub as usual Friday night.... I didn't drive, but still stuck to diet coke :)
OK, OK, I know it's only one night, but Friday night is the 1 night a week that I have a few beers (well, normally, although it was Fri, Sat & Sun last week lol) - but it's a start, shall not have a beer, or any other alcohol come to that for the rest of August - Haven't actually had any since Sunday..... but we'll see if the scales show over the next couple of weeks.
Going to be odd eating syns.... as I normally drink them if you know what I mean, although I may have a couple of 0% alcohol beers - who knows?

Up pretty early ( well for us) was up, washed and dressed before 09:30 - flipping 'eck ;)
He had to do a few hours graft... I pottered about and did some housework :(
Anyhow... morning disappeared, and in the afternoon we decided to jump on the bikes:character00201: did about 160 miles in the sunshine, went from Tilbury down towards Hastings in East Sussex, popped into a pub... diet coke all the way :)
Got home around 7pm, so had a late dinner... we normally eat at 6pm

Lunch: Cheese, ham and cucumber sarnie
2x400g nimble malted granary(HEB), 2xdairylea light (part HEA), ham, cucmber, cherry tomatoes

Dinner: mince, tatties & veg
el minced beef, oxo, marmite, onions & mushooms, bisto (2), new potatoes Brussels, carrots, cauli, broccoli,courgette, marrowfat peas

Supper: yoghurt & alpen
alpen light (3), shape delight apple crumble(0.5)

Seems funny eating syns... haven't used bisto since January... but that's 'cos I'm not drinking beer!! - so far, so good

quiet day, nice and peaceful, popped to the pub in the afternoon to catch-up with a few people... diet coke again...let's hope I see a difference :scale:

poached eggs, smoked bacon, quorn sausages (2), mushrooms & tomatoes,2 x400g malted granary nimble (HEB1) and 2 tsp ICBINB light (2)

Dinner: cod, new pots and veg
194g new potatoes (HEB2), smoked cod, carrots, brussels, cauliflower, broccoli, runner beans

had a result, bought some vacuum packed line-caught cod from Asda, bunged in the freezer as it was on the whoopsie counter... lovely bit of fish... and only £1.20 instead of £3.50..... result :)
so I still have some unsmoked left for another night.

I found these in the cupboard, I'd brought back a load of sweets from my biz trip to the US in May.... 14 sweets = 9 syns, so reckon 6 is about fair

Working from home.... I love, wish I could every day, although I'm lucky I can twice a week... get a lie-in, as long as I'm logged on for 08:00 it's fine (so I get up about 5to lol) far better than being up & out by 06:30!!!
It also means I can choose what I eat,as opposed to eating ehat I can from the works canteen

Bank Holiday :bliss:

Had a great day - good foodwise, beerwise and day off wise

We decided to go out on our bikes (that's one with an engine!!) :character00201:
So, after a quick, but filling breakfast (stops me eating junk when we stop) we set off

Had a long ride, some 195 miles, and the pub stop consisted of diet coke!! :innocent0002:
As well as ignoring the lovely looking, wonderful smelling fish & chips (we've eaten there before..... :wow:)

Got in around 7pm, so a long old day

I found in Asda some mini bags selection of kiddies sweets.. jelly tots, lollies, marshmallows and white chocolate jazzies, rainbow drops, whatever you call them - white cholcolate buttons with 100's & 1000's on top :D

He came round, been o the airport, so not eaten... Me being warm and caring, offered diner... well, I was only having egg, chips and beans,.. so he had 1/2 my chips!!! gave him a couple of eatsmart sausages too!!

Ok, the whirly is an Asda version of a milkyway... quite nice, but wouldn't normally waste 6 syns on one, but 'cos I'm not drinking I've loads of syns to use..... I am adding to meals, having additional healthy extras sometimes, but I think I'm so used to eating virtually syn free, it's a bit difficult sometimes.

tried to be pretty good, I'm sure I've over estimated my syns, they use healthy stuff where possible, having mayo only happens at the BBQ's, coleslaw they make themselves, so it might be reduced fat, the burgers were 80% beef... but hey ho, not a problem, as overall, even over estimated I'm still within my weekly amount (just)
Oh, and I stuck to poxy diet coke again!!!!! Boy, I'm gonna have a beer soon!!

Got home after a nighmare train journey... left the office a little after 7pm, missed the 7:20 train, so next ione was 7:50... ot on that, listened to music, read the paper, you know, normal, to look up and see a station I didn't recognise :confused:
Got off, came on the one bvack, changed onto another platform... and waited, and waited, finally got home at almost 9:45 instead of 8:30 grrrr AND I was stone cold sober.... I wouldn't have minded if I was drunk!!

I was flipping hungry when I got in, so had some supper
