WK49 D3, (Sun 11th Dec) - EE

Stayed in bed a bit longer this morning... Ken thought it was his birthday as I made coffee LOL- and then again 'cos I made him a sausage sarnie, and told him to leave the washing up!!!! (I cook, he washes)

We then met his son & his girlfriend down the pub..... diet pepsi!!!
back home for the rest of the afternnon snooker session (well, it was the final)

Lunch: sausage sarnie
2x400g nimble wholemeal (HEB), 2xeatsmart sausages (1), mushrooms, 1/2 tsp mustard (0.5)

Snack: 4 hot chestnuts (4)
a fella was cooking these in the pub fire

Dinner: red cabbage soup, gammon steak, chips & veg
red cabbage, oxo, gammon, potatoes,1/2 tbs olive oil (3), courgette, onion, mushroom, tomatoes, 2x poached eggs

Supper: hot chocolate
250ml semi-skim milk (HEA),highlights(2)

Back to the office.... horrible 1st day

Sunday I had 2 hours sleep, and only that much as I ignored the alarm, to then find I was running late, so rushing about - good job I shower of an evening!!!
Oh, and just to make it better, I missed the train I was hoping to catch, as they've changed the timetable since I've been off!!
Cold, damp & dark - yuk, I really do need to emigrate!

Lunch: rollmop salad, and small fruit salad
rollmop, mixed leaves, cucmber, tomato, carrot, red onion, apple, pear, melon

took some air in the afternoon, but left about 230 as I wasn't feeling too good, run an errand on the way home. Had an early dinner, bit of relaxing, bath and a bit of telly
earlylish night but dropped off around 11pm.... much better than Sunday

Dinner: Mushroom soup, creamy chicken and bacon pasta with salad
(mushrooms, oxo) wholemeal pasta, onion, mushroom, quark, chicken, bacon, mixed leaves, cucmber, tomato, yellow pepper


evening treat: cuppa & christmas cake

As I've said before, not huge, but make a nice change

Supper: hot chocolate & chewy bar
250ml semi-skim milk (HEA),highlights(2), white chocolate oatybar (HEB)

1st time I've had those bars - OK I guess, nothing special, but OK for £1 from farmfoods, don't think I'd pay full price for them though, prefer the fibreplus in that case.

Ta - today was a lot better thanks, had a 'chat' with HR as well today, all seems ok with them, and my boss is fine too, so looks like I'll be alright, they want to know if there's anything they can do, and have offered me additional support if I need it, they weren't too impressed with the letter from the consultant, but will overlook it, but will need something more if I'm gonna be off again - obviously hoping that's not necessary

HAPPY NEW YEAR

This is day 1 of my 2012 plan - been a really, really naughty girl - not been online, not been on plan, probably drunk my weekly synnage every day since new year, and eaten stuff I don't normally bother with - chocolate mainly - ah well
Been off work since 21Dec as I had shed loads of holiday to use - back to work Mon 9th

The WI before Christmas I had an undeserved loss of 2lb, between Christmas & New Year a 6.5 gain, and WI last night a 1.5 gain and a sudden urge for rubbish food - why, I didn't eat most of the junk I've eaten before SW ????
That includes a TOTM as well, so hey ho, take it on the chin and start again... Even so
I'm still over 2 stone less than when I started last January
So need to lose this 8lb ASAP, gonna be on track as of now
Actually really looking forward to getting back on plan - I haven't eaten fruit in a fortnight (except orange & strawberry creams in the quality street lol) and feel fat & bloated, so, I'm off shopping when I've finished my cuppa to stock up on goodies

Shopping done, put away, just sitting for 5 mins with this and a can of pop before lunch (OK, I know it's late, not been back long)
Feel better already knowing I've a fridge full of fruit, veg and other lovely goodies

Oh - I did 25 sit-ups this morning as well, although I know I really need to decide on some proper excercise... but it's a start, if Ican do 50 a day I'll be happy

so that's my plan -
10 syns a day
more water (going for 3 pints a day) - so, so easy if it's beer!!!
less alcohol
50 situps a day
 
Looking good... Yeah strange that, I can always drink more booze, but no more water too... lol...xx

Had a trip to Asda to fill the fridge with proper food, and of course normal Friday night pub trip, we were home rather early, dunno why, no reason .... I decided to stick to diet pepsi for the night, need to break this 'too much drinking' habit that I seem to have devoloped, not a huge amount - but too many syns!!!

Lunch: Mushroom omlette and tinned spaghetti, fruit
tinned spaghetti, 2 eggs, mushrooms, 2xplums, pear

Dinner: Courgette Risotto and salad
rice, onion, courgette, oxo, lettuce, cucumber, tomato, carrot, mixed peppers

Supper: cheese sandwich, crisps and pickles
2x400g nimble malted granary (HEB1), 42g cathederal city light (HEA1), 1 tbs light salad cream (1), cucumber, gherkins, tomatoes, pickled onions, quavers (4.5)

In bed supper: hot chocolate & chewy bar
250ml semi-skim milk (HEA2), oaty bar (HEB2), highlights (2)

HEA x2 & HEB x2

3 pints water

Had a great day today - had a bit of a lay in (normal for the weekend!) had a nice brunch, weather was good so jumped on the bike, :character00201:eek:nly did about 35 miles pottering around, needed to pay my CIU subs, so Ken reckoned it would be perfect chance to charge the battery - met him at his place to take the dogs out, back home, bit of telly, nice dinner, reckon it's time for bed, so gonna heat up my milk whilst updating todays eats.....

Brunch: cooked brekkie, bread & 'butter'
2x400g nimble malted granary (HEB), 3 tsp clover light (3) 2xpoached eggs, 1x quorn sausage (1), tomtatoes, mushrooms

Snack: fruit
2x clementines, 1x banana

Dinner: Liver & bacon, mash & veg / Fruit & berry salad
liver, bacon, onion, mushroom, oxo, potatoes, swede, carrots, runner beans, spring greens, blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, kiwi and grapes , 0% greek yoghurt

Supper: hot chocolate & chocs
250ml semi-skim milk (HEA), highlights (2), treatsize buttons (4)

3 pints water
50 sit-ups

Another one of those lie-ins.... back to work tomorrow :( ah well, need to bite the bullet.

A nice bit of brunch, lazed around for a couple of hours watching Fred Dibnah steam railways then went for a walk, didn't take Kens dogs, so it was more than around a field a couple of times, only out for a bout 45 mins - but it was better than sat sitting all day, which could easily have been the case.
Not much else going on, excpet I made some mini quiches and some soup for dinner, making sure that there's enough for tomorrow

Brunch: cooked brekkie
2x400g nimble malted granary (HEB), 3 tsp clover light (3) 2xpoached eggs, bacon, baked beans, tomtatoes, mushrooms

Snack : SW quiche
egg, cottage cheese, onion, red pepper

Dinner: swede & carrot soup / seafood pasta & salad / fruit
onion, carrot, swede, oxo,wholemeal pasta, king prawn, squid, mussels, onion, stock cube, 0% greek, lettuce, cucumber, tomato, carrot, mixed peppers, banana, 2x clementines, pear and WW yoghurt

Supper: hot chocolate, chewy bar, chocolate
250ml semi-skim milk (HEA), highlights (2), treatsize chomp (3), alpen light (3)

All sounds yummy :drool: and am seriously impressed you doing sit ups and went for a walk today.
I've not done any exercise over xmas & new year (my Zumba class has been cancelled for 4 wks now) and i can really tell. But not motivated enough to go for walk (blaming the constant rain).
Zumba back on tomoz night so hopefully it'll motivate me.
Keep up the good work, and i think you should change your name to 'biker chic' x
 
I'm really enjoying being back on track, I must admit, I'd started feeling a bit sluggish after all the rubbish - strange thing is I didn't eat like that before SW, yeah, I had takeaways and meals out, but I think just crammed them all into a couple of weeks, whereas before it would've been over a couple of months or so!!

Haha - didn't like the sit-up at 530 this morning - but, it only takes a few minutes, especially as I've split it to 25 AM & 25 PM - only excercise I do is a walk at the weekend, and that's subject to the weather, and whatever else we might be doing - oh and 10 mins AM/PM from the station to the office 3 days a week... so pretty much nothing, I really, really need to do something.

Not tried Zumba, heard it's good, but I'm so uncoordinated it's unreal!

Ken, my OH texts me as biker chick lol...
