Well, think it's gonna be one of those days..... I normally work from home on a Friday, but we have a dept. lunch today as trying to get a day we're all in before the end of the month when a girlie off on maternity leave is difficult - howcome it's always me that has to be flexible???

Overslept a bit YAWN :4635:, then had a 20min wait for the train I missed by a few seconds - GRRRR :argh: got into the office, and cleared my workload - all the overnight stuff within 45mins, I will have some more, but evenso, won't be a lot - good job as we're having a long lunch :)

Anyhow, we're going Middle Eastern today, been there before (when off plan) and the food was so yummy..... last time we had a meze, about 20 dishes between us, a main meal, and a few beers.....
Gonna have an off plan day!!! Although, I will try (sort of) but won't be trying to count any syns...will just have to be careful for the rest of the week!!

Ooops, been MIA again.....
had a week off work, and have done sod all... except Wednesday when I had a big reunion with a load of ex company colleagues (over 100 people)
had a great time, but other than that, have done practically nothing except sit on my bum and watch TV in the warm snuggled up on the sofa - mind, weather-wise it hasn't been particularly condusive to getting in gear.

Friday lunch was great, a whole range of tasty treats, and again a meze to start; hummous, various spiced dips and breads and deep fried thingys, too many to list, but both meat & vegetarian based, of course, everything had oils of some sort or another main was good though, spiced prawns in a sweet pepper sauce with rice and salad, washed down with a couple of Lebanesse beers, a local liquer and topped of with a Turkish coffee...

Will catch-up with everyone, and will update last weeks food (pretty bad really, either virtually nothing, or too many beers!!! TUT TUT)

OK - week 10 food update

Been bad, as you will see, mainly thinking that if I cut back loads, I'll manage a STS...well, I didn't, I put on a pound, and in fairness, probably in part due to not flipping eating, I know, I know, I tell other people "make sure you eat enough, otherwise you won't lose" so, do I heed my own advise???? NOPE

Week 10 12th - 18th October

Fri:
Lunch: Middle Eastern - totally yummy, couple of beers
Dinner: Cheese & tomato sandwich
Evening: a few pints (but not as many as normal)

Sat: EE
Dinner: BGTY sausages, mash, onions, mushrooms, tomatoes
Supper: Hi-Fi bar, hot milk & highlights

Sun:

a few too many pints

Mon:

Supper: toasted cheese & tomato sarnie

Tues:
toasted cheese & tomato sarnie

Weds: out for the day to a reunion
Breakfast: pub brekkie, egg, bacon, tomato, baked beans, hash brown, white toast & butter - 2 coffees (skipped an 11:00 pint)
Lunch: posh, but totally non SW buffet
Dinner: Strada restaurant, shared antipasti, seafood linguine in tomato based sauce (best choice main)
in fact, beer total (for me) wasn't bad considering we were out all day in a drinking environment - 7 pints, I can do that on a Friday night sometimes!!

Thurs:
Supper: toasted cheese & tomato sarnie & quavers

Oh dear, oh dear, really must try harder.....

Week 11 will be on plan, yes, as normal I have used a fair proportion of my syns Friday, but I can generally work that into the week..... don't have anything planned this week, so no excuses!!!

Another boring day at work.... Getting really fed-up now, but, hey ho - not long to go only another 69 days 1 hour and 18 mins !!! ( not that I'm counting lol)

best update yesterdays food

WK11 D4 Mon 22 Oct - Green

Was impressed with the quorn steaks, nice and peppery.... Asda have them on special at £1 a pack (2 steaks)
Also, had the cadburys caramel highlight for the first time.... they now seem to be doing them in single servings instead of the twin-pack
pretty sweet, but tasted like a liquid version of the choccy bar... certainly would fulfill and choccy/sweet craving for me

Didn't eat my HEB today, just didn't need it in the evening, but think I had enogh fibre anyway (from a health / nutrition perspective)

Ah, Chelle, alas not (well, maybe)
I'm being made redundant.... so lunchtime NYE is it... at least the company will pay for our NY drinks!!!

We're hoping to get away then for a few weeks or so, have to see, then I'll start looking for a job in Feb
We've not had a holiday the last couple of years (due to Mums illness) but now the situation has changed, we'll try and get away - somewhere hot is in order!!!

Hope your day is more fun than mine lol

Fun? You are talking about Sainsbury's lol? At least on late night I don't have time to think about it, the time flies by... It will nine pm before I know it, and time to watch Elementary on Sky 1... Ooo... Johnny Lee Miller... * rubs kness*

Well, yeah, working isn't always fun I must admit, but being busy helps, that's half my problem!!
I don't have sky, so not seen Elementary, and had to google JLM - hope you enjoy your bit of 'me time'

Twas good... JLM is quite a good actor he is playing Sherlock Holmes but in modern day America... Got the neurotic, drug abusing bit spot on... As well as being cute...xx

Tuesday was a good day, except work lol,

enjoyed all my food yesterday, did a good deed, and resisted!!! pretty good

An indirect work colleague is having some aggro, and wanted a chat after work... well, I finish an hour or so earlier than her, but hung around, had a shower instead of having one when I got in, had a bit of a walk, sat in the park, and met her outside the office.... she said " I know you like a beer - which pub?"
Me... Well, being on track, said that I'd only drink coke, how about going for a coffee instead... we only went to Prets which is the closest, and were there until they closed, well, probably after, on the way out they gave us 2 pain au raisin, she's a diabetic, so told me to have them.... well, they're on the garage roof for the birds... ** Go ME ** (if I'd seen someone sleeping rough I'd have given them to them instead)
Now, don't get me wrong, I like beer and pastries, but didn't need them, and at 15.5 for a pastry - no way Jose!!
