I know, its 5 months already!

Sometimes I have to pinch myself, I have never maintained a weight loss like I have since lipotrim. Its not even as if I am dieting or anything, just eating healthy options and choosing sensibly (some of the time).

Todays food.

Breakfast - Turkish breakfast, ham, 2 boiled eggs, 6 black olives, tomato, cucumber, small block of cathedral city cheese.

Snack - Banana.

Lunch - Home made lentil soup with ham. 2 plums, 1 apple.

Dinner - Not too sure yet, it will be grilled Haddock probably with salad. Will edit to update later if anything changes.

yes just got back from icmeler:sigh: will have to wait until next year now. Nice to see you are still maintaining, and you are inspiration to us all.

Thank you Joy, but never mind this maintenance thingy..........lol, tell me all about my beloved Icmeler please. Only 24 sleeps for me now.

No change to the food, I had a large salad with a grilled haddock for supper. I did drink 2 vodka's, but it is our Anniversary today, so I guess I am excused.

We will probably go out for a nice meal at the weekend as I am working until Thursday morning.

Mary icemeler was great as usual, met up with a couple in sabri's sad ******* bar and spent some time with them, they were good company. Went to Havana Bar a few times and enjoyed that. Bought a pendant to match a ring I bought a couple of years ago. This was my treat to myself for losing my weight.
Had to have my wedding ring resized and the guy told I had gone down six ring sizes. (it was a little big in the first place though). Stayed at the Elif never never again, it was fawlty towers. I kept expecting to see Basil fawlty any minute. But we did not let it get to us, went to see Stella Show again which was a great laugh.
Thinking of booking for next September and have a quote from icemeler on line. I really enjoyed going out at this time of year, not too hot, for me and hubby. But there is always May!!! have to work on that one. x

Hi Mary,
had a good read through your diary today, you really seem to have it all under control. Great to see and a great motivator too.

Ooh thats not so good about the hotel, but I agree with you about Havana bar, Zaza is mad as a hatter. Great guy and always up for a laugh. He did a boat trip with us last year in October, all Hawaiin Style fancy dress, it was a scream.

My favourite times in Icmeler are June and October. We always go the first two weeks of each. I love it, and cant wait to return.

Excellent news on your ring - wow 6 sizes. I had 4 sizes taken out of mine around April after nearly losing my engagement ring.

Thank you so much Doirin, its all down to being 80% sensible on maintenance, but there is always that other 20% to have some fun and have a little bit of what you fancy. Everything in moderation is the key and never ban any food.

i agree you are doing brillantly on maintence an insperation, the proof that there is life after LT !
thank you

Snack in work - Jar of cockles. 1 banana, 1 apple.

Edit to say I had a kitkat with a coffee before I came to work - I forgot about that.

what are the high fibre crackers.....I usually stay clear of crackers because they seem high in fat but I do like them for a nice savoury snack.

Oh cockles...mmmm.....not sure on those. My dad loved them, but i was never a fan...I know, being Scottish as well, but just didnt take to them.

You know Mary, when you look at it, you actually dont eat an awful lot throughout the day...but yet you dont feel hungry.amazing!

Just out of curiosity, what did your day used to be like before you lost your weight?

Its just Jacobs cream crackers, but the high fibre ones, quite tasty.
Its awakward with my shifts to have a regular eating pattern, but on my four days off is when I have 3 substantial meals a day plus snacks and a little vodka of course lol.

Like last night, I brought soup to have around midnight - 1am, but after my pitta bread approx 10pm, I just wasnt hungry. Shift work has some strange symptoms lol.

My menus prior to Lipotrim and maintenance were very similar to what I eat now, but snacks in between would be crisps, chocolate, ice creams etc.

Today, I have not had my cockles or soup yet, but since eating dinner at 3:30 this afternoon I have eaten 1 orange, 1 banana and 1 apple and I am so full up I dont know if I will eat the cockles and soup later, even though I know I should.

Todays food.

Got home from work this morning and had 1 slice of wholemeal toast with some blackcurrant jam and a cup of tea.

Up at midday and at 1pm I had a bowl of porridge made with semi skimmed milk and water - 1 nectarine.

Dinner - Mashed potatoes, brussel sprouts, carrots, savoy cabbage, 3 tiny lamb chops, gravy.

Dont know whats for supper yet, but probably 1 more slice of bread with some ham and salad. More fruit too.

15:28 - Edit to say, just had a snack attack, had a kitkat and a packet of cheese and onion crisps.
