treated ourselves for tea as my son is home tonight...so making the most of it...wont see him after tomorrow until after ive been in hospital probably...but should be ok points wise.
totm has hit me too...so feeling rougher than normal...but will weigh in tomorrow for the Friday gang

well....back at it this week and i knew i could do it...totm and the scales show a 3 1/2lb loss!! chuffed isnt the word lol....

had a mad mad day, after everything I got home at almost 10pm...and am now downloading books onto my new toy....my son bought me an ereader for my birthday so I am stocking it up ready for my hossie trip this week and for my recovery.

Wont be weighing in now til next weekend at the earliest, will probably just wait until im back on my feet as I wont be pointing things, but wont be eating much either so hopefully ill stay on track.
Am going out for lunch on sunday, im like the queen this year...2 birthdays lol...as I wont be up to much on Weds (my real birthday) im gonna have my day with the dil, the boys and some friends on Sunday. Had a lovely couple of days with my son but wont see him now til late next week, I think hes gonna have a couple of days off when I get home to keep an eye on me lol.

Anyway...taking my books to bed and will catch up tomorrow

well official wi this morning showed 4lb gone....now im gonna blow it cos im out for a birthday lunch today and im gonna have ribs AND a big fat pud!!! then back on plan tomorrow and then just not thinking about it much til im out of hospital...which will hopefully be tuesday night but dunno yet.

i had a lush meal!! was at the Harvester...simply because its reasonably priced and the children are made to feel a part of it which to me is very important. The food is always nice and we can sit and yap for as long as we like and arent rushed out or anything...that makes it a top place to go in my book.

So I went for a combo which was chicken breast and a half rack of ribs, with a jack daniels sauce, fries and peas. it was lush!!!!
After our meal we agreed we would have pud, and I was ognna have a black forrest sundae....but the next thing I saw the waitress walk round the corner with a HUGE birthday cake that my friend had made for me...I did wonder why they went in before us and got a table when they normally wait outside for us...lol
Went suitably red in the face as they sang happy birthday to me and my gorgeous lil grandson helped me blow the candles out...i think the fire station was on standby lol.

Probably sounds daft to most but it really made my day...someone had thought about me. my son and dil have no choice lol they are stuck with me...but I have no other family any more, nobody that cares anyway...so my friend that made the cake probably didnt realise how special it was for me....
she is awesome at making cakes, and is gonna do a market stall with me from next March, shes gonna do cakes and im gonna do my cards....cant wait!!

Anyway, I didnt have pud lol..just a slab of cake...its a victoria sponge with jam and butter cream in, then more cream on the outside and lined on the outside with white choccy fingers...then topped with fresh raspberries....soooooooo yummy.... and there is still half left!!! Ill get my lil boys helping me out later

So all in all Ive had a lovely day, just 2 people missing...my son... who had to work (he cooked for antony warrel thompson last night, and marco pierre white last week!!) and my dad was missing and very much missed. As birthdays go...apart from those 2 ppl who werent there, ive loved my (slightly early) birthday.

Ahhh Dinx that is sooo lovely, nearly brought a tear to my eye lol, sooo happy you had such a lovely day and that you're friend made you feel so special that is just lovely!1 And omg you cake sounds AMAZING, hope you saved me a slice haha and your meal sounds fantastic too yummm.. I must find a harvester one day!! Enjoy the rest of your day (and have some more cake) You know you can get back to pointing tomorrow without a problem xxxxx

my mum....shes back in Yarmouth i believe, havent spoken to her for 5 years, and Im better off without her tbh, shes a drunk, and a nasty nasty old woman. she has my sister there to throw money at her for booze and do everything for her....my dad and I have always been the black sheep... she once told me if it wasnt for my sister she would have no family at all so me not being around is no loss to her. She is happy im sure, the pubs open 24 hrs and she has her best friend Stella

as for my boy....im SO proud of his achievements so far, he is gonna be famous one day...watch this space
