Discover Dinx's Diary - new year = new me....bring it on :D

right well weighed in today and over the summer hols I started by losing 5lb....and ive put it back on again so Im at the same weight I was at the start of the hols....I cant really complain about that as it is totally my own doing and I was expecting a bigger gain if Im honest....so thats the hols and the gain DONE...no more...im serious...NO MORE!!!!
I am back on the wagon....and WILL have a loss this week. I want to get that 5lb gone...and I think its possible if im totally committed this week. I need that loss to get me motivated properly again. So for anyone that takes the time to read this...PLEASE feel free to kick my ass when you think I might need it.

Im gonna be really strict, but in reality its not strict...i LOVE discover, and WANT to do this so it should be easy....right??

Ive planned "events" around weigh ins from now on....and gonna have SUnday as treat day and weigh day...and will be good as gold the rest of the week. For my girl fridays, if it helps I can still have a sneak peek on a Friday ;) lol and Ill be back every evening to update my food diary.

So here we go....shifting my flab part deux!!

YAY!! Goo Dinx! I'm there with you 100% I've been very naughty this hol and my week away didn't help, but reckon if I'm 100% this week I can lose 4lbs, and then make my way to the 12's. That's great that you are sts from the start off the hols, you are still making the right choices :) Loving your pic by the way! Need to get our Christmas goals.. bring it on xx

ive always just stuck to my 25 a day...i dont use any bonus points, not that i ever really earn any! if I dont eat my points in a day I just leave them unless I have a big event one week then I might try and save some up.....
I just had some melba toasts - 1, some light philly - 1.5 and and apple 0.5....thats me done now for the day :)
 
Ahh I see!! Excellent. I save every point I can haha, though I suppose it what works for you individually. Sounds like a yummy healthy evening snack. xx

well...today was busy busy but all the kiddiewinks seemed to be happy with the changes at nursery...and the staff did ok too ;)

As for me..well Ive decided that I'm gonna try and go back to work after Xmas hopefully, not just voluntarily...Im hoping I am managing my ME well enough to be able to do it...but to make sure, Im gonna be trying to do the hours I wanna do after Xmas, between now and then, to see how it affects me. I feel tired, but I was up most of the night helping DIL with 2 cranky kids lol. I feel a bit hurty but no more than I would expect I guess so keeping notes on how I am and hoping to be fit for work in a few months!! I hate being stuck at home and wanna be out working for a living...only problem is if I stop getting the help I get at the mo, it will be SO hard to get it again if I cant do it after a while....I dunno...watch this space?

So food wise today...its been soooooooo easy!! I knew it would be lol...no cupboards to raid!!

Hey Dinx :) Glad you had a good day and the kids enjoyed their first day back :) you sound like a very busy bee indeed :D That's ace about hoping to start working again, excellent. That's a great plan about seeing how it goes up till Christmas, good thinking. I bet it's a big decision though as you don't want to lose the help you get.. the government really need to change that and let people have a chance of going back to work. Could you maybe go back a few hours a week without it effecting your entitlements? Have a nice restful evening :) food looks yummy xx

Hiya, yeah its nice to see all the hard work over the summer has paid off and the kids really enjoyed their new structured areas. We have gone from 1 large playroom for children aged 2-5, to 2 areas and a baby area...Tiddlers, Toddlers and Tumblers.....all age appropriate and SO much nicer for them! Lots of work though as you will know!
As I am getting help due to illness, any work I do shows that Im fit for work in "their" eyes, and as such wont get any help at all. Its a shame cos I could cope with a few hours each week, but wouldnt be able to afford to live unless Im full time so Im a bit stuck. Ill see how it goes though, most of the people that see me daily think its gonna be too much...so I have to wait and see. I am keeping track of how I feel, if I started the week feeling 8 out of 10, today Im feeling about 6 so I dunno.....time will tell :)

ive had a great week so far....all i wanna do when i get home int he evening is have tea, watch tv for a bit then crash out...too tired to walk thru to the kitchen to munch lol ;)
that and the fact that i WILL have a loss this week....keeping me going :)
