Elkays resurrected food diary

At 3.25pm, I finally got to Watford Gap for a relieve and a diet red bull... and of course, a velvet crunch.

How can I ever repay you? They have to be the next best thing after fish and chips at the seaside!

Good morning Kals (2.30am:eek:) Siting up in bed as I 'write' this, OH and one of the dogs snoring their heads off and I've got ruddy acid and belly ache so not much chance of getting off to sleep! Out tonight and I was the 'nominated driver' which results in me drinking far too much......diet coke! Other than that I'm having a good weekend thanks! Hope your weekend is going well. It was really good to meet the fantablous Nikster in person :D. Fortunately, neither of us find it hard to make conversation so we got on fine!


Thanks for popping into my diary - have a good Sunday. Off to see if there's anything worth watching on iplayer now!:sigh:

Hi ya Nik - am having a good weekend thanks. If I ever get some sleep tonight/this morning we are meant to be out for lunch tomorrow then watching the Villa match at the pub - only problem is, we are going with friends who are Albion fans and they take great delight if Villa lose :p.

Eek at the tummy! Not good. I had loads of diet pepsi the other night and made me so bloated... And nope, really doesn't help when you have a snorer next to you either! Grr!

Did The Villa win? Not a big fan, but living with an Arsenal fan, I do tend to support the Villa when they play together... Well come on now, beat West Brom! :p

Hi Nik, yes the Villa beat Everton 1-0 (only just though). Albion were playing Liverpool at the same time and they lost 1-0 - ha ha:D

Know what you mean about the bloating - my belly is about to burst! Only good thing is I don't spend much as the pub we go to is one of those 'free refill' places where once you buy one coke or lemonade, you can have free refills! Good for the pocket but not the belly!

Extra day off tomorrow - I am going to have a lazy one.

I had a lovely day thank you. Short week this week so can't be bad! My manager was off last week and this week so kinda hectic at work covering 2 jobs but hey, at least the time goes quick! Also, the sun is out - wahay! :D Good to hear that you are feeling so motivated Kal, I like it when you and Nik are feeling motivated - it gives me hope that it will rub off on me ;).

Well I was thinking mine needed to grow more 'into the style' then it would look as good as yours ;). Trouble is mine grows out rather down! I'm hopeless when I go to the hairdressers, I just say 'do what you like as long as it's short' - then she asks what colours I want and I say 'do whatever you think' - fortunately I've never had any major disasters!

Talking of hair, I don't suppose you have ever clipped a dogs hair have you? I usually have the dog hairdresser person come to the house to clip my cocker spaniel but he's old and blind (that's the dog not the hairdresser person) and doesn't like standing on the table thing she brings now, so i am tempted to buy some good quality clippers and do it myself. I know he would let me do it but part of me is a bit scared. :confused:

I have that trouble too Lesley in the end I look like I have a giant puffball
on me head and the guys at work call me Frizzy lol
No one understands when your hair just grows out like a bush haha!!
