Hi Kals, thanks for popping in. As ever, you are right! WI this morning and ........ another STS!! I don't know whether I feel like laughing or crying! I suppose the reason is that I have had nowhere near my points this week, I'm allowed 20 per day and have had - 15.5, 20.5, 4, 9, 15, 13.5, 10.5. I wouldn't normally go this low but my stomach has been horrible and I haven't felt like eating. I still don't quite understand how that works though that you eat less and don't lose!

So, ever the optimist, I'm determined to eat during the coming week and lose at least a lb :D.

Milk = 1

Lunch
4 ryvitas = 2
2 LF cheese triangles = 1

Dinner
ww soup = 1
Couldn't stomach anything else tonight

Total = 8

Breakfast

2 boiled eggs = 3
4 ryvita = 2

Lunch

Dinner (buffet at party)
Veg Samosa = 5.5
Piece of pakora = 6 (assuming same as onion bhajee)
Salad = 0

Alcohol = 6

Total = 22.5 - OK about this as I didn't use all my points on several days last week.

Sts and it must be so annoying as well

Hopefully your appetite will return soon and you'll find it easier to hit your points. Maybe that's what's slowed you down, the not eating enough?

Breakfast

Scrambled egg (1 yolk) = 1.5
Ryvita x 4 = 2
1 LF cheese triangle = 0.5

Lunch/dinner
100g chicken breast = 2
salad = 0
sweet chilli sauce= 1

2 ww carrot cakes = 2

Curly wurly = 2.5

LF cheese triangle = 0.5

Total = 12

It certainly is a mystery! I suppose that it could be that I haven't used all my points but I thought the formula for weight loss was less calories in than you burn off, so I would have expected at least a very little loss! Any suggestions/ideas would be most welcome.

I even checked my scales to make sure they weren't sticking on my weight :D

Anyway, it's another week so fingers crossed.

Hi Lesley,

It has got something to do with the fact that if you don't need the amount your body needs it kinda goes in to a starvation mode and feeds on its own resources or something and then you don't loose anything. That is why WW say you have to eat a certain amount a day xx

I'm good thanks Kals (better than I was anyway!) I read about your trip to docs in your diary, well done you, you are doing brilliantly and are a real inspiration - I'm really pleased that things have fallen into place for you.

I hope the weightloss fairy doesn't get lost between London and Brum next Friday :D
. I know Nik will have a loss but I'm not quite so confident about me! I really am forcing myself to use more of my points this week though and am avoiding bread so fingers crossed.

Oh dear, I have really lost the plot today - just deleted what I originally put in this post as it was my food for today - I then noticed I had already started one above early this morning (but with the date as 15th August!) Roll on bedtime and get today over with -definitely 'one of those days' :eek:
