Emma's Baby weight has got to go

Oh Emma, sorry you are having a rubbish day, but don't turn to the naughty food, I felt rubbish when I did it the other day, it made me question my ability to even do this diet, which is crazy because this is the best I have done at dieting for years, I've been on a diet for about 12 years constantly nearly and just couldn't do it and always got bigger everytime I tried the next fad, you are doing so well & in such a short space of time, keep that in mind and be good lady!!! ;) xx

Ah sorry your having a crappy day, sounds just like mine. Just one of those days. Let's hope we can go to bed and wake up to a better day tomorrow.x

I've stood in front of the kitchen cupboard so many times today, looking for things that I really shouldn't............I've managed to turn away....so far
I keep telling myself that the chocolate and crisps will only cheer me up temporarily and then I will be craving more and then I'll feel like **** that I gave in, so I'm trying to stir clear of the kitchen lol...............I've just stuffed my face with Diet coke chicken and rice.......... and I will indulge in something full of chocolatey goodness later.........just so I dont feel deprived.

I hope so too............I'll be glad when this day is over

couple of months back I bought a beautiful dress for my anniversary dinner date with my partner. Red with spaghetti straps and beaded work on the bodice
Gorgeous dress................Now when I bought it I was a size 22 and thought I was being brave buying an 18...........

Well I've just tried it on.....................ITS TOO BIG :faint2:............It's still got the tags on it and everything. I can't believe I've come this far already...........I guess I have lost more inches than I thought I had............Wish I'd taken my measurements at the beginning of all this

With this in mind, I decided to try on my new Green Dress...........The one I bought for Caitlin's upcoming Baptism. Its Green satin with a boned bodice and a black belt.............Its a size 16, which again I thought was being a little brave...maybe a little stupid too

I've tried it on now and it fits !!:party0049:............. 6 weeks from now, it will fit even better

Finally a bit of good news coz I have had a yucky day :tomato:.........up til this point :)

LOL.....I would have but My eldest was off school due to a teacher's training day (I swear she's out more than she's in school these days)
Due to her Autism she doesn't have the patience for shopping or queuing or waiting............so I am having to dive into my old size 16s and see if anything fits or is suitable

Monday is my Anniversary..........7 years as a couple but 15 years as friends...... I can't believe its been that long............ I was just 18 when we originally met.
So tonight we are going out to celebrate (can't go Monday as its a school night and no chance of getting a sitter). We are off to Harvester. I've already looked at the menu and picked what I fancy in the lower calorie bracket (which meant baby potatoes instead of chips and Baby back ribs instead of a massive mixed grill..........which is what Paul has picked)
I plan to fill up on salad but I will be blowing out when it comes to dessert. I'm nowhere near my limit for syns this week, I seem to be using less and less....I'm averaging about 5 per day now and thats only coz I am forcing myself to use that many.............. I guess I just eat more free food and make meals that are really filling, then I don't feel the need to snack

Really looking forward to tonight but I am still none the wiser about what I am going to wear and I only have 7 hours left to decide

Had a brilliant night last night at Harvester (despite the 30 min wait for the table)
I was a good girl, I had two bowls of salad and opt'd for the lowest calorie dressing which in this case was a Low fat vinegarette that nearly blew my head off) I steered clear of the bread and butter and all the crunchy munchty salad toppings.
For dinner I had Baby back ribs with the world's smallest grilled corn on the cob lol........and a jacket potatoes (i know I said baby potatoes but I couldn't resist)
So far so good hey ?
Dessert was a cookie dough sundae (cornish ice cream with cookie pieces, and chocolate sauce..........there was a wafer too but I didn't eat that....or half the sundae to be honest as it was just too big......before SW I would have devoured the lot but there's not chance of that yet

As for the outfit, I finally decided on a red waterfall dress (size 16) with Black belt, bolero and shoes.............. My mother who is the most critical person I know said I looked elegant and the dress took years off me.............I was pleasantly pleased with that response

But the dish of the day was definitely Paul in his new Italian suit !!! which he treated himself to for losing his first stone............He's been trying for so long and he really deserved it

Not sure if we are weighing in today......what with it being father's day...........(we're off bowling later too) so I'll report back later

Its Weigh In Day

We're back to Sunday weigh ins..................DON'T ASK LOL

Despite the night out at Harvester, I'm weighing in today and every Sunday after this.............Unless I'm away on holiday lol :gen157:

1.5lbs off this week............... After last week's STS, I am pleased as punch with that.............. Could have been a lot worse, Especially after a night of Choccie desserts and Ribs smothered in BBQ glaze:eating:

Just 3 lbs to my 2.5 award..................BRING IT ON:flirt2:

Glad you had a good time Emma, & wow on the loss & being only 3lbs from your 2.5st award, well done. Xx
