Everyone has a fat friend... I don't want to be yours! 2013...

You busy little bee!! Hope you have a better day today hun, what you getting from Asda for lunch?? My phone just autocorreced Asda to Asia! Might be a bit far to go lol :-D xx

I wouldn't mind popping to asia for my lunch haha. I got a prepared ham and boiled egg salad. It was awful. The lettuce was really wet and the cucumber wasn't much better!
I've had an ok day today, had a meeting this morning and then this afternoon I caught up on emails and set my friend up with a fella who is working in the community centre.. match making skills worked and they are currently texting each other and arranging a date lol.
Had some awful news yesterday at work and cant stop thinking about it, we have been working with a family for just over a year and the little girl who has been terminally ill passed away yesterday morning, she was only 17 months old :(

Todays food has been:
Breakfast: melon and grapes
Lunch: ham and boiled egg salad, ryvita minis (hex B)
Tea: not sure yet
Syns: an asda cookie from the bakery- not sure how many syns as they don't have the calories on the packet
Exercise: my friend has cancelled going to the gym so I'll go on the treadmill later

I'm popping to Tesco soon, taking holly to get some new clothes, she seems to have grown over night and everything is too small!
Everyone had a good day? xx

Hi chick. Sorry to hear the sad news, thats gut wrenching for anyone to hear.

Glad you got your car vrooom vrooom lol. Were off to daughters tonight for a couple of hours as we wont see them after tonight until we get back from our jollies.

Will proabably have something unhealthy to eat whilst there lol. This is the start of the slippery holiday slope with weight gain arghhhh

We've all got to enjoy a slippery slope at some point hun lol. Did you have a good night? x

Good morning lovelies!
Well the plans for today... I'm taking my 2 nieces (aged 18 and 15) out for lunch today, I don't spend anywhere near enough time with them now that they are grown up and busy with their friends. So I asked them where they want to go and they have picked all you can eat Chinese buffet! Couldn't say no so I am going to have to resist a lot of the food whilst there. I am determined to have a loss this week so need to stay focused.
I haven't eaten breakfast yet, only been up an hour, but I plan on having a mushroom omlet.

Anyone else got plans for today? x

Sounds lovely. I love seeing my nieces. I've been tidying, putting out food and nesting material for the birds (got 3 boxes with 2 in use), about to have 'brunch' then it's football so off to Ipswich I go and this evening I will be watching golf with my hubby to see whether my bets have come to fruition! Will try to add in an exercise class. Thinking of doing 30ds again but must decide whether to ditch the gym as so expenny and I hardly go. Great pool but although I mean to visit it it just doesn't happen. How's your gym going? Enjoying it?

Hi hun, busy day for you!
I've enjoyed going to the gym but I don't go enough, its only £20 a month though and there is no contract, I just pay cash when the month is up if I want to or pay £3 for a single session. I just need to bite the bullet and go alone as my friend has cancelled twice this week. I'm going to make a big effort to just go for it next week whether she comes or not. I'm getting really fed up with the size of my arms so I was just about to look online for reasonably priced kettle bells and get a DVD to do at home. I gave up on couch to 5k, not really sure why... you still doing it? xx

I did the 30 days and felt great, but think I might do it again now I'm smaller as the toning might help more. I've heard kettle bells are great but 30ds really tones your arms too. I pretty much have to go to the gym alone as d has really slacked off now he's doing heavier work in the day and its fine. Headphones in and go go go!

im going to go and buy kettle bells tomorrow and a dvd, ive never used them before. I tried 30DS once, I was almost dead at the end of day 1! lol x

Evening everyone, just updating todays food/drink/exercise etc

Brunch: egg, mushrooms and 2 slice of wholemeal toast
Tea: so I took my nieces to Chinese buffet and I didn't/couldn't add up syns but I had: 4 chicken wings, 2 small veg spring rolls, 1 onion ring, 1 rib, salad, boiled rice, veg curry sauce and a table spoon of bubblebum ice cream and a litre bottle of water
Snacks: a packet of prepared water melon fans from asda
Drinks: 1 cup of coffee, a glass of diet lemonade, 1 litre of water and 3 pints of NAS juice.
Exercise: day 5 of the 30 day squat challenge so did 70 squats

Back to it 100% tomorrow and hoping its a nice day so we can go for a walk for a few hours. I think Ste is spending time polishing the cars tomorrow so I will pop to the gym if he does.

Whilst I'm here I'm gonna have a bit of a moan.... here goes... I am so fed up of people (friends and family) presuming that me and Ste get ourselves into debt so we can have nice things. The only 'debt' we have is a mortgage but because I do a lot of shopping, we decorate the house often or get a new car etc etc people presume that because we are both quite young (28) and that I was a teenage parent that we must be using credit cards etc. We work so hard for our money and have worked from the day we left school, I know its no one elses business and I shouldn't care what they think but it really annoys me. I have had this cr@p since being pregnant at the age of 18 and everyone presuming that I was sponging from the benefit system when in fact I had just bought my first house and was working hard to secure a good future. Sorry to rant but it just annoys me soooooooo much! xx

Morning all. Well what a miserable day outside today, won't be going for a nice walk, that's for sure. Not sure what the plan for today is, Tyler has gone to his dads and me and holly have just watched last nights BGT and now watching total wipe out. They are both back at school tomorrow so I need to go to Tesco for packed lunch stuff. Back to the usual sundays of preparing for the week ahead. I haven't decided on any foods for today yet other than pork for tea, will update with food and exercise later x

Todays food has been/will be:
Breakfast: bacon, poached egg, tomatoes and mushrooms, 2 wholemeal toast (2 hex B)
Lunch: Fruit
Tea: Pork, sprouts, carrot and swede mash, gravy (3)
Snacks: crisps (7) water melon and yoghurt
Drinks: coffee, tea and aim to drink at least 5 pints of water/NAS juice
Exercise: 75 squats

Hi hun hows you today? My food isnt great today, ive only just remembered to eat lol so had my HEX's crackerbreads and philli light. Got shin beef in the slow cooker for later

I'm fine thanks hun, just having a sit down after a busy morning/afternoon. Been shopping, my uncles and my dads. Came home and sorted through Tyler and Holly's clothes, got a bin bag of stuff to donate to families I work with and need to now go and buy them some new stuff. Got Holly some clothes the other day but she needs a few more bits and Tyler needs a bit of everything, they both seem to have shot up over night. I've got a joint of pork in the oven, smells lovely. I'm going for a nice bath soon and settling down with a good book. You all packed for your holiday? x

Ive got most of it done chick just my dresses to put in which ill leave till last minute to reduce creasing

You have been busy too and yeh kids seem to have bouts where they grow at an alarming rate lol

to be fair, they haven't had a whole new wardrobe for ages, they have had bits and pieces here and there so I have been lucky that there stuff has lasted so long. They usually have a school uniform on so only need clothes for the weekend, with having 2 weeks off it made me realise how much stuff they had grown out of. It killed me sorting hollys stuff out as some of the stuff she has only wore once, I know they will go to good use though when I give them to the families at work x

Decided to go for it with the C25K so after I showered the kids I completed day 1. I was shattered but it felt soooo good. I am feeling quite anxious today as tomorrow I have 5 members of staff from the local authority moving into our office. Doing the session on the treadmill, I let off some steam and just had 30 minutes of having a totally clear mind and just focusing on one thing instead of the hundreds of things swimming round in my mind.
I've got my usual Monday session at the gym tomorrow after work- think I'll need it! x

Well done hunni - your doing a cracking job with the exercise and the gym. I hope your day goes ok tomorrow x

Good evening! Well, I've had a good day today. I had the whole afternoon at work in the office all by myself. It was sooo nice. I'm not in a very sociable mood so got my head stuck into paperwork. Today's diary (red day):
Breakfast: fruit
Lunch: 1x wholemeal toast, scrambled egg and bacon
Tea: home made cottage pie (with mushroom, onion and carrot) topped with carrot and swede mash
Snacks: packet of prepared water melon and 2 packs of walkers noughts and crosses crisps- 9 syns (think they are new, on offer in asda)
Drinks: 2 litres and 1 pint of water, 2 cups of coffee
Exercise: 1 hour in the gym and 80 squats (day 7 of squat challenge)

I have a bit of a proud moment to share.... my friend isn't going to come to the gym anymore so today I went alone!! First time ever and I actually enjoyed it more, pushed myself further and burned double the calories. I even have blisters on my hands from the rowing machine lol x

Well done that's great I'm so pleased for you as know how hard you (and I!) find doing things like that. Woohoo there's no stopping you x
