Everyone has a fat friend... I don't want to be yours! 2013...

Hi everyone, I haven't been around for a few days. Totally fallen off the wagon and cant seem to get myself back on. Been feeling very grumpy with myself so went and bought myself a designer hand bag today- bit of retain therapy! However, I have popped on for some reminders of how well SW works and that it does give results. I have given myself a set of mini treats which I will get as and when I reach certain mile stones, I shouldn't be buying myself things to make me feel better so now I will buy the things I really want at times when I have achieved. So here's my list so far:
When I lose 21lbs: nails done and hair cut
When I lose 2stone: a new pair of converse
When I lose 2.5 stone: benefit make up set
I'm undecided what the other treats will be but when I reach target I have already said that me and my friend are going to a spa for a weekend :)

So tomorrow I am going to a christening so will be drinking in the afternoon and having buffet food, but Monday I am on this. Need to go and renew my gym membership and there will only be a Thursday when I cant go as I take Tyler to karate. Hope everyone is well, will have a catch up on the forum and hopefully gain some inspiration and determination... if anyone has got any going spare, I'll appreciate donations! :)
 
Good luck for monday you can do it have a look for some new recipes and different things to make to help change it a bit.
 
Thanks hun. I've had a look round and seen some inspirational photos, I've had a SW tea and just been to Tesco and got some fruit. I have also bought a kettlebell and have saved a work out from you tube into my favourites. So... here we go again... time to get focused!
 
Hi hunnie - I hope they catch the little bar stewards that did the damage to your car I hate mindless thugs. They did it to my car just before we moved house. They broke the passenger side window and opened the glove box, I think it was in the hope my sat nav was in there ( well serve the sods right all they got was 80's cds lol ) they threw em back they mustnt have liked my taste in music pmsl. The door is still scratched and the window doesnt close properly but its useable.

On the SW front - get right back on it Monday were right behind you hun you can do it, and little goals make sense think of all those little treats xx
 
Hi texty, I'm waiting for the CCTV to be put onto disc and the school will see if they can identify them and if so the police will take it from there!
Defo back on SW tomorrow before its too late and the cycle begins. I'm going to do EE too, I was running out of food ideas for Red and getting fed up but there's much more variations on EE so will give it a good try xx
 
Yeh EE all the way for me as its so versatile, Im rarely stuck for ideas. Im trying to limit damage from hols until WI on Wed. I need to get right back on it. I didnt eat a lot for 3 days with being poorly and then when I felt like eating all I could face was bread and fries so not good but better than ending up in a foreign hospital eh lol
 
Evening! Well I have had a 100% day today and feel great. I think I have done EE but could anyone reading please let me know that if I have done it right?
Breakfast: apple, kiwi and blue berries
Lunch: bacon, scrambled egg, 1 slice of whole meal toast followed by mixed fruit salad (melon, blue berries, mango, pineapple, apple, kiwi)
Tea: steak, SW chips and broccoli
Hex B: slice of wholemeal toast
Hex A: milk used in coffee
Syns: packet of crisps 5.5, may have some more later
Drinks: 3 cups of coffee and a litre of water
Exercise: 30 minute kettle bell workout

Did you measure your milk out? How big were your slices of bread as you can have 2 slices of a 400g wholemeal hovis, or 60g of any wholemeal bread.
Maybe more veg with your main meal hun did you have 1/3 superfree broccoli?
 
Hi Hun, I didn't measure out my milk as I was at work but I had 3 cups of coffee the milk was semi skimmed, I have a splash of milk as I like my coffee quite strong.
The bread was the larger size slice of hovis, not the smaller ones which I usually have at home.
I had 2 steak medallions, a handful of chips and half of a whole broccoli, there were 4 large florets.
Have I done it wrong??? X
 
another go at EE today...
Breakfast: 2 Weetabix and milk with a coffee (hex B and 250ml of semi skimmed milk)
Lunch: jacket potato, cottage cheese, ham and a large salad (lettuce, tomato, cucumber, onion and beetroot) can of diet coke
Tea: beef, peppers and onion in a Schwartz slow cooker mix (2 syns) sprouts, carrot and swede mash and green beans
Snacks: 2 packets of asda smart price crisps (7.5 syns for both)
Drinks: cup of tea, can of diet coke and just over a litre of water
Exercise: none! still sooo sore from the kettle bell workout last night.
Have I done it right today?

I know others swear by EE but I prefer the old red and green days they are much easier. Plus I like the 2 healthy extras too. I struggle to get my head around the 1/3 SF too. I just imagine piles of veg lol but I think the principle is 1/3 meat, 1/3 carbs and 1/3 SF in practice that's not that simple all the time. Do you buy the SW mags? It's very good and give a 7 day EE planner which might simplify EE for you?
 
Yeah I have got the recent magazine, need to have a good read through. I usually do Red days but after getting a little fed up and falling off track I thought I would give EE a go. Not sure if I'm carry on with it as I feel like I'm doing it wrong every day lol x
 
I feel that way too with EE. I don't eat that much meat so I usually do green and find I lose on mainly green days, but I'm giving red days a go this week to try and shake my body up a bit as its sloooww and doesn't like losing.
 
Hi hun - nothing wrong with what you have done just wanted to make sure you werent cheating yourself out of stuff you can have like your HEX if you had only had 1 slice of 400g bread when you could have 2.

I usually measure out my milk the night before and put it in a beaker in the fridge, this way I know even if I dont use it all on teas/cereal during the day I can use whats left when I get home for extra teas or to mix into an options light.

You technically need to fill 1/3 of your plate with SF foods such as fruit and veg, potatoes and meat are Free but not SF. Your SF today looks spot on hun. Keep up the good work your doing brill. xx

Its weigh in day tomorrow but I am just hoping I at least maintain, I'm not expecting a loss as I was totally off the wagon at the beginning of the week. Feeling much more motivated this week after a few weeks of comfort eating due to some personal stuff going on.
