Fiona's baby diaries.....

Hope u had a fab day at the Spa hun!
I def think measuring is the way 2 go as there's not always a loss on the scales every week but inch loss can b just, if not more, motivating! I'm determined 2 get back on track 4 the last few wks of my pregnancy - I'v been so good up til last week that I really don't wana spoil it all now. Everybody keeps tellin me 2 eat wat I like these last wks 2 "keep my strength up" but I kno the more I let myself get off track the harder it'll b 2 get back on track 100% after baby's born. I'm gona go back 2 basics n do out a meal planner 4 at least the next week n then stick 2 it RIGIDLY - no deviations AT ALL! I'v toyed with the idea of doin a food diary on here but I think I'l leave that til after baby's born....
 
Was thinking Fiona, are you still having all your extra h/e's whilst b/feeding? If so maybe that's the reason your maintaining?

I've cut back this week from 6 to 4 :) hoping that'll change my run of staying the same. How are you going Sammy? X

Was a lovely day but the massage was very hard!! Ouchie.. You eat what your body tells you although not a million cakes :) a food diary is good for keepin on the straight and narrow!! I shall get that tape measure out!! :) x

That's what it's got to be because you've been so good! 2 less is about 1400 cals so you should see at least 1/2 lb loss next week! :)
I'm good thanks, back on plan this week & sticking to it so far. :) just need a couple of sts's to pull back the weight gain, I've gained just over 2st & have 8 weeks left! Feeling very frumpy, wish I could say it was all bump but I can really notice a difference on my thighs & bum too. Booo
Do you feel nice & relaxed after your massage? I've never had one!

I'm hoping I see even 1/4 lb loss :) I gained all my baby weight on my hips!! Ugh.
The massage was really hard and I'm very ticklish so was desperately trying not to laugh!! X
 
Haha! I'm ticklish so would find it hard, I could never have a pedicure!
I put on 4 stone with my first & never remember feeling this uncomfy! It was probably all the excitement of having out first baby, the novelty has definitely worn off now! Lol

I'm in desperate need of a pedi. They couldn't fit us in for one!! :( my skin gets very dry on thyroxine and my feet suffer terribly !! I wasn't too chuffed about feeling hot sore etc with 2nd bub x
 
Any advice on swollen feet/ankles/legs ladies? I don't seem 2 ave gained weight anywhere on my body other than my bump until now n it's all fluid in my calves, ankles n feet! They actually feel hard n a bit sore 2 the touch cos the skin is stretched so tightly over the fluid. I'v started takin a magnesium supplement in the evenins since Sat n that seems 2 b gradually helpin a bit. I don't find it very comfortable sittin wif my feet up so I'm sorta stuck! lol!

Hmmm I didn't suffer from swollen feet till I had Imogen and I was home and even still it wasn't that bad Isobel I had a swollen hand?? Anyhow maybe at night put a pillow under your feet to raise them? Also drink a lot of fluid to flush it through?? X
 
I saw the tip bout sleepin wif pillows under my feet online n I'v been doin that 2. I think it's just cos I'm getting close 2 labour as my Mam was the same 4 the last week or so of her pregnancies. Luckily she lost all the swellin almost instantly afterwards so hopefully I'l b the same, so I guess I'l just ave 2 suffer a wee while longer x
