From here to Slimfinity!!! - Team 6

LOLOL... I love it...I started 100% SS, for 4 months, then took the scenic route too! Was pictureque for a bit - but i know i would have lost all of my weight if i had stuck with it. But, i wont complain.

Hope you guys are doing well. Im still on my 2 Cd's a day plus some fruit and yogurts....how sweet is fruit when you havent tasted it in 9 months???!!! WOW!

Im dreading the prospect of eating carbs as these were always my weakness :-( and being a proverbial daily 'scale hopper' i saw it move up 1lb :-(

On the plus side...today was the first day i got out of bed without feeling dizzy and faint. WHOOOO

Just back from picking up child 2 from nursery. I normally work on Tuesdays, MIL decided on an impromtu holiday - so noone to watch kids. I have the day to relax n chill!!! NOT! Just another day to do more housework grrrr.

Wobbly...well done on 3lbs. wish that was me this week.

have a good one all

oh..choc mint??? yuk. I found that pretty weird and bleurgh. Vanilla is the way forward, i would live on tetras if they were vanilla. mmmmmmmm

ha ha funny how we all have different tastes isn't it!!

I can't understand how anyone can eat the soups!! yeuch... I think when they are hot the taste of shakes changes, do you?

I have my books so am contemplating SS + so I can get back into the gym and know I can have a meal when I come in.

Any advice or opinion on this, have any of you tried it?

Love yas x xx x

i agree with SS+ whilst exercising.... i had an extra shake on days i wne to the gym. The gym never helped me lose any weight! But i was glad to get there and start exercising, so now i miss it when i havent been. Planning on 3 stints this week plus badminton on friday!

Im in agreement with the soups - every one of them dire! I would only eat them if i was desperate, and never again will i attempt to heat up a shake. Vomitisation! My CDc assured me the choc one was delicious warm. *HMMM*

righty...got soup cooking, im in a cooking from scratch mood today. lentil and carrot it is.

ciao
xxxx

i never heat the shakes and the only soup I can stomach is oriental chili.

Can you imagine how nice a vanilla tetra would taste cold (if the had it!) xx

oooh yeah...mmmmmmmmmm I love mine made with loads of ice, blended and its almost like vanilla ice cream. fabby doo. I may make one for dinner now lolol

Evening all!!

Had 2 shakes banana and choc mint amd have just put some chcken in the oven and a bit of cauli and brocolli to steam then looking forward to a bar later on.

Feels good to be eating a small meal and feeling in control instead of sneaking it or eating too much of the wrong thing. ANd to know I'm not 'cheating'.

Biggest problem of the night is deciding which bar to have, any advice!!

Speak later x xxx x x

ps. still haven't managed to read the full thread but it seems there is 4 of us, is this right? x

Wobbly, my favourite is the Cranberry Crunch bar.

Hope everyone has had a good day, both CD & otherwise.

I had half an orange and half a caramel! Enjoyed them after my chicken and veg. Felt really satisfied.

Love the fact that i can eat 'legally' lol x x

Wobbly, what CD stage are you on - is it SS+ ?

Hope everyone has a good day. Our schools close for the October hols. on Friday. We are going away for a few days, staying in a log cabin, near Callander. Can't wait as work has been really hectic for my husband and l recently. I'm looking foward to dining out some of the time when we're away - hopefully will make good choices & not go crazy & eat everything in site.

Hiya

Yeah I am doing SS + just started it this week since tuesday so hoping I still loose weight this week!!

Still ok and really enjoying my 'meal'... something to look forward to on a night.

Log cabin sounds lovely!!! So romantic.

Disney a log cabin sounds amazing. I need a visual. Please post a photo.

How is our scenic route today? xx

Here's the link to where we are staying, in fact that photo is of the actual log cabin we are staying in, (hope it's ok to post links on here). Photographs Leny Estate Self Catering Accommodation, Callander, Scotland

It's partly a business trip, as my husband is having a meeting with a client one of the days we are away and visit another one on our journey home. I'm just sooooo glad we are getting away at all though.

I've had a sore back part of this week, doctor think it's sciatica and prescribed painkillers which have helped. Hopefully l'll be ok when we are away.

Draw a line under any blips and carry on. I am one week away from vacation and so excited. I need this break so badly.

Today I am going to try to drink more water. How are you girls today? x

Hi all :)

Hope everyone is doing well.

Being off Cd (well, stabilising and moving through to WW) is definitely weird. i feel like ive been in prison for 9 months, regimented, being told what to eat and now i get to 'choose' Its difficult as i want to eat all the good things, but im paranoid about putting on weight. Anyone know how long glycogen stores take to fill? I probably should, being scientifically minded and all that.... lolol

im finding drinking water difficult though - i need to try harder.

Dis - hope you have a great time in callendar! We are off to Pitlochry for our october break...im hoping we dont have it too cold! But, i am going to Stobo for a day of pampering on 25th!! I cannot wait, have been looking forward to this for so long.........mmmmmmmmmmm facial and back massage, bring it on!!

Oh, i have decided to bite the bullet and upload my before and after photos....just so i have something to look back on and remind myself of how far i've come. Will mention it in main threads.

have a great night all

I lost 2lbs this week - that's me into the 130s (just!) - l now weigh 139lbs. First time l've been under 140 since l was a student (over 20 years ago!).

Do any of you go on a website called Sparkpeople.com ? I use it quite a lot, it's great for motivation & fitness information.
You can create your own Sparkpage, my user/sparkpage name is the same as on here.

Wobbly, hope you are doing well. As Quizz says put the blip behind you and try not to feel guilty. Since l started CD back in March l've had quite a few blips, big and small, especially early on & after holidays l found it hard to get back on track (think it must have been carb withdrawal, lol)

Quizz, great you are having a holiday soon. Off to anywhere warm & sunny?

Anni, Pitlochry is lovely - it will be beautiful at this time of year with the autumn colours. A day at Stobo sounds fab. Did someone book it for you as a special treat or are you treating yourself, you deserve it, you have done fantastically well losing weight. :happy096:
Well done for posting your photos - you look great, really lovely.

Better get going now and see what else l need to take for going away - the car will end up being pretty full as usual & this time we're taking wellies for each of us & my husband is bringing work files & his laptop. Just as well l've lost weight & take up less room now. LOL.

Off to enjoy the scenery & more of the scenic route! ;)

Hope you all have a good weekend and are very, very good while l'm away. :D

Disney, the photos of the leny estate are amazing. I love the deer in the snow shot. You can go on some long romantic rambles with your hubby!

Anni, your photos are amazing, and you will do great. I think it is natural to be experiencing some "food fear" but everything will fall into place. Are you on a points system?

My holiday will be with my Mom in America in a state called Vermont which is quite north. here is where we are going www.trappfamily.com

Wobbly how is you? xx
