Hey hun,
Well of course I remember you!!! Sounds like you and your Mum/family had a hell of a time!! OMG so glad your Mum beat the cancer- that's amazing news- hope my Mum is as lucky!! 3 years now since she was diagnosed- she's well, but it's an ongoing thing for her and we're just waiting for her next check up = blood tests= probable CT scan= maybe more chemo soon!! But she's fighting fit so far!!

Re. your weight gain, well life had thrown you a particularly unfair hand of cards lately so don't be so hard on yourself!! Agreed, it's a good idea to address it, especially if it's getting you down, but here you are ready to do something about it!!

I'm still here as you can see, just about managing to stay at Target, after getting to it in September!! I'd love to go for another stone off, but I'm not overly bothered how long that takes me!! I have really good days on plan, and really bad days off plan, and managing to find the healthy balance but the bad habits do creep in now and again so there's always room for improvement!!

So lovely to see you again!! Always here if you want some support!! XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Evening chica - our vats are usually beef or lamb stews, bolognaise sauce or chicken cocido (but this is actually not 100% SW friendly as it has sausages in it) although lush if you want the recipe. It's basically a Spanish chicken casserole and has chickpeas in as well as veg.

Go on then Bev, hit me with it!! Not literally, boiling hot earthenware is never the most comfortable thing to be whacked over the head with!!! I can always use SW friendly sausages!!
Congrats on your great loss after 5 red days!!!!
Waved goodbye to my car today and new one being delivered tomorrow!! Very excited!!X

Aww thanks Donna - you're too kind lol! Yeah fingers well and truly crossed for our Mums- its a horrible thing simmering at the back of my mind constantly and coming to the forefront from time to time when she awaits results and goes through chemo- at the moment its on the backburner but bloods next month will be a testing time again!

I've been a bit naughty on the food diary front since target but I know it does help me to focus and stay on track when I really need a good week so really need to keep them up!

Don't panic re. your weight loss! There's nothing that can't be corrected and you're here to put things right now! Try and see it as a positive thing and concentrate on all the yummy food you can eat and enjoy and see the pounds melt away feeling great about yourself and all the health/aesthetic benefits of weight loss! Don't put too much pressure on yourself as eventually you'll start getting negative vibes from the whole thing! Chip away and have a life but always keep your target in your mind and you'll get there!

Sorry if that sounded preachy, but that's my own experience and I've always seen it as a positive thing and it took me 2 yrs to get there XxX

Right then, after a cheeky few days off, it's back to the old food diaries for me!!!!

Wed 18th April 2012- Working long day 7.30am-8pm.

Before work-
3-egg omelette with chicken, onion and mushrooms with Caribbean curry spice mix.

Work break 1- Red grapes, 4 kiwi fruit, Mullerlight Greek Coconut & Vanilla yogurt (0.5 syns).

Work break 2- Stirfried chicken with savoury rice and free salad with 2 tbspn xl salad cream (2 syns).

At home after work/Tesco shopping- Tesco chilli chicken salad with noodles- can't find syns online and threw away packaging, but there was very very little fat in it and only 160 cals for the whole thing (small portion) so I'm going to guestimate 2 syns! 1 slice wholemeal toast (HEXb) with Tesco tinned mackerel in teriyaki sauce (1 syn).

Milk in tea (less than HEXa).

Total syns 5.5 (maybe slightly more due to salad but still within syns).

What a lovely person you are Heather. You give so much genuine support to so many of us.

Todays food sounds scrummy. I am staring my day with a Hev inspired omelet of mushrooms and onions and bacon...............my mouth is watering.

I will PM you lots of Barcelona thingies sometime soon,

hugs xxxxxx

Can you include me too please as I'm probably going to be there when Hevs is too?
Priority order please as we'll probably only have 1 full day and 2 halves!

Hi Clairey,

Yeah I do a lot of long shifts- days and nights are all 7.30-8. I work 6 of these per fortnight (we have this odd fortnightly rota thing- allows a bit more flexibility to swap shifts to cover the needs of the unit) which is 34.5 hrs per week- I get about £100 less per month than if I worked the fulltime 37.5 hours but I get an extra day off so taking into consideration all the 40 mile round trips it takes me to go to work and back and the extra days off I get (= better quality of life) it's definitely worth it as I'd probably spend a lot of that on travel costs! I'm pleased to announce I was very good in work!! As long as I'm organised with my food preparation and I avoid cake and chocolates I'm home and dry!! Tonight and tomorrow will be the test as people tend to take treats in to night shifts as comfort tools lol!!! Hope all well with you hun!! Just looking at your amazing results- 23lb in a month- wowzers you'll be a right skinny minny for Florida!!!XXX

That's a long work day.....hope it goes ok and you stick to your plan xx

Hope you have managed to get a few hours nice rest Hev x

Hi Kally,
Yes I had a mega sleep last night- about 8 hours, then went back to bed for another 2 or so in preparation for tonights night shift!! Really needed that lol!!! I love my bed!!!!

I got a Nissan Juke in white (google if you haven't seen!!) Not to everyones' tastes- some people think they're ugly- very bug-like!! But I absolutely LOVE it and although I'm going to regret the white becuase it's going to be brown where I live if I don't look after it properly, I think it looks mega cool in white!!

How are you? Ive just replied to your post on your thread!!!XXX
