Yup, weighed last night and I lost 1lb so it's all good!! I'm exactly at original target now, but still 3lb above my lowest ever (which I got to before the cruise in Feb) and 4lb above my new revised target!! I find it's good to keep myself on my toes!!!

Last day off today and as I just said to Kally I'm intending to spend it in my PJs until choir practice tonight! Reading my book and chilling out and being answerable to NOONE!!! (Apart from syns lol!)

Well done on your loss Hev - I love pjs its the first thing I do every night when I get in - bra off, up the stairs, into a pair of pjs, your day sounds heavenly

OMG you sing as well - is there any end to your amazing talents!! I so wish I could sing

I don't do the bra off thing! Gravity isn't too kind to my GGs lol!!

Yeah i love being in a choir- wouldn't say I'm amazing at it though- which is why it's lovely to be able to blend in with the others! XxX
 
hey hevs, can you check for me - are the weetabix golden syrup a HEB or not? I bought some without thinking (well i did think - i thought - yummy!) but have no access to check now anyway! xxx

Merry Wednesday to you too Kally!!! Yeh I've been on a 12.5 hour shift! Started at 7.30, finished at 8.30 tonight, so actually 13 hours! 15 hours if you count the travelling and changing into clothes time etc!! Yuck!X
 
Wednesday 2nd May 2012. Working 7.30am-8pm.

Early brekkie-
3-egg mushroom, red pepper and red chilli omelette.

Work break 1- A roast chicken Mugshot (0.5 syns). An apple. An Activia fat free raspberry Snackpot.

Work break 2- Roast chicken breast slices with Batchelors Chinese savoury rice, steamed cauliflower, broccoli and carrots (same as yest) with hot chilli ketchup (2 syns). 2 cranberry & yogurt HIFI bars (HEXb).

Snack at home after work- White grapes. A Toffee Dazzler Weetabix Oatybar (4.5 syns).

Milk in cups of tea/coffee (<HEXa).

Very late night snack....a bowl of mushy peas (heated up)...yes I hold my hands up..I'm mad!! Couldn't go to sleep on gurgling tummy!!

Total syns 7.

Good work on that loss - So you're in a choir? I can't say my singing voice is up to much but one of my friends runs a choir and she adores it. She has a lovely voice too as I'm sure yours is. You do so much, such a busy girl :D

I like the sound of this chilli ketchup too, I like my spices and I've not really been using my syns enough so I'll have to try some.

That last shift you were one sounds like long hard work. I've been busy with work today too, am looking forward in one way to the exams coming up and giving me a break - it's so intense with the students just now but then I'll miss the money too. I need to get a proper job :)

I don't feel like I do that much really! SW class on a Mon, choir on a Tues if I'm lucky with my requests (plus approx 4 concerts per yr), 2-4 12.5 hr shifts a week (its actually 6 per fortnight-69 hr fortnight, strange system I know!). Then there's organising cottage stuff/the bookings and payments side of it- I do little with the changeovers now as I have a lovely lady who does that! And I don't have any kiddlywinks, so to be fair I have a fair bit of 'me time'! I'm busy, but I think Ive got a nice balance! You, however sound mega busy! I take my hat off to anyone who has kids AND works!

The hot chilli ketchup is from Aldi (brandname Bramwells)- I love it, but I think Heinz do one too- needless to say more pricey!

Yeah I'm night shifts tomorrow and Fri, then another long day like today on Sunday!

Got anything nice lined up for the weekend?X

Enjoy the night shifts Hevs. You probably won't hear much from me after this morning as we are heading back up the motorway in a couple of hours. We're off to Liverpool tomorrow to get himself a new passport, at my mums on Saturday (dongle didn't work there last time I tried, but you never know) and Ian's 70th party on Sunday. And then back home late on Monday.

I'll try to get on for the odd few minutes but don't expect to hear much now until Tuesday.

Happy Thursday!! Yeh tis a long shift but the way I see it is that once I'm there I'm there- it's a 40 mile round trip to go to work so I have less journeys and more days off! The normal morning shift finishes at 3pm, so what's a few more hours once I'm there?! Have a fab day!!XXXX

Long lie in to prepare for night shift.

Brunch-
35g porridge (HEXb) with 100ml semi-skimmed milk (2/5 HEXa) and a sliced banana.

Tea before work- Small rump steak with rosemary and garlic sweet potato chips (cooked in Actifry with Frylight) and salad (mixed leaves, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, red pepper, red chilli and beetroot. A little pepper sauce on the steak (2 syns).

Food in work- Salmon fillet steamed in steam bag with Caribbean curry spice mix. With Tesco mushroom couscous (1.5 syns) and salad (as earlier today). 2 tbspns XL salad cream (2 syns). Activia raspberry fat free Snackpot. Some white grapes.

Milk in tea & coffee (3/5 HEXa).

Total syns 5.5. Confirming no. of syns now as I'm 100% confident that I won't be touching ANY cake or chocolates that people have brought into work!!! How's that for dedication?!!!! It's set in stone now- I can't go back on my word!!! Update...it worked!! I didn't touch ANY naughty stuff, even though there were Quality St on the nurse's station!!

Had salmon fillets in fridge to use up and not much preperation time between night shifts so made sense to split into two meals!! All good stuff though! Activia fat free raspberry Snackpot.

No syns! How did that happen?!

Sat 5th May 2012. Sleep day.

Food before going to bed-
2 kiwi fruit, 4 satsumas. Two-slice pack of buttered Soreen malt loaf (from Tesco Express on way home from work- 10 syns!!) At home- Dai was cooking breakfast- had 1 sausage (6 syns).

After getting up mid-avo- A cherry WW yogurt.

Tea- Chicken salad sandwich (2 slices wholemeal bread (HEXb + 6 syns), 2 tbspns xl salad cream (2 syns), cold leftover roast chicken, rocket salad, sliced tomato). A couple of spoonfuls of dh's mashed potato.

Milk in tea/coffee (part HEXa).

Total syns 24. Could have been better but had no syns at all yesterday and haven't actually eaten a lot of food today so calories-wise I'm probably OK!

Work break 2- A Spicy sweet & sour Mugshot. Some green grapes.

Silly silly silly Hevz!! Devoured literally about 10 chocolates in work as so tired and feeling sorry for myself for being on a long shift on a Sunday when my friends were all on a hen weekend and my hubby was at a concert in the Royal Albert Hall which I couldn't get the day off for!!! 25 blinkin syns of nothingness and didn't even enjoy them!!

After work- An apple.

Milk in tea & coffee throughout work in day (HEXa).

Total syns 28!!!!! Damn those chocolates!!!!!

I'm a shift worker as well Hev so I mostly do 10 hour shifts
(not as long as yours Hun) and I do mostly late shifts as I
don't like 3.30am starts yikes!!
