Week 42- Day 3 (Thurs) Extra Easy- Working night shift 7.30pm-8am

Breakfast-11am- 3 egg omlette with ham and 28g cheddar (HEXa).

2pm- A thai Mugshot (0.5 syns) and a Spicy Curry Pot Noodle in a Mug.

Before work 6.30pm- 3 small fillets of fresh mackerel (caught by dh) dusted with cumin and flour and panfried (3 syns).

Work snack- 10pm- Kelloggs Fibre Plus dark choc and almond bar (HEXb). New York Cheesecake Mullerlight (1 syn).

Work meal- 1am- Large salad- lettuce, cherry tomatoes, yellow pepper, beetroot, tinned tuna, hardboiled eggs, new potatoes. With vinegar and salt & pepper. Slice of friends SW key lime pie (5 syns) and small slice of another friends pineapple cheesecake (8 syns!!)

Total syns 17.5!!
 
Week 42- Day 4 (Fri)- Green- Working night shift 7.30pm-8am.

Before going to bed- 8am- Spicy curry Pot Noodle in a Mug. A banana and some grapes.

On getting up- 3.15pm- New York Cheesecake Mullerlight (1 syn). 3 Laughing cow xl triangles (1/2 HEXa).

Before work- 6.15pm- 2 corn on the cob and small portion of pasta bows with courgette, green pepper, spring onion, quark and pesto (see work meal).

Work snack- Kelloggs Fibre Plus dark choc/almond bar (HEXb).

Work meal- Pasta bows with courgette, green pepper, spring onion, quark and pesto (3.5 syns for tablespoon including earlier's portion). A pink grapefruit. A strawberry cheesecake Mullerlight (1 syn). A teeny-weeny bit of friend's pineapple cheesecake- just a taste! (?2 syns).

Total syns 7.5.

8.30am- A banana.

On waking up/before work- 6pm-2 Weetabix(HEXb1) with 200ml skimmed milk (4/7 HEXa1), sliced banana, nectarine, grapes, strawberries and blueberries.

Work snack- 10.30pm- Kelloggs Fibre Plus dark choc/almond (HEXb2)

Work meal- Wholewheat pasta shells with courgette, spring onions, yellow pepper, tomato with quark and 1 tbpsn pesto (3.5 syns). Vanilla/choc sprinkles/black cherry underlayer Mullerlight (2 syns).

Milky coffee using 250ml semi-skimmed milk (HEXa2).

Total syns 5.5.
 
Week 42- Day 6 (Sun)- Extra Easy- Day off.

In work- 6am- Spicy curry Pot Noodle in a Mug.

8.30am- Sliced nectarine, grapes, strawberries and blueberries.

On waking up- 3pm- 3 egg omlette with 28g cheddar (HEXa) and ham. Mushy peas. Very small amount of Mayflower curry sauce (2 syns).

8.30pm- Chicken and veg curry (chicken breast, onion, garlic, courgette, green pepper, yellow pepper, tomatoes, mushrooms, madras curry paste (1 syn for 1/4 tbspn), curry powder, chilli powder, cumin, coriander, ginger). With a little boiled basmati rice. A few strawberries.

Total syns 2.

Week 42- Day 7 (Mon)- Extra Easy- Day off.

Brekkie- 9.30am- 2 Weetabix (HEXb) with 200ml skimmed milk (4/7 HEXa).

Went swimming- swam 32 lengths of 50m pool = 1 mile (not a strong swimmer so an acheivement for me- took me ages though!!)

A banana.

Nandos for lunch with friends- 2pm- Chicken with spicy rice and corn on the cob (estimated 6 syns). Frozen yogurt (apparently free).

Pub for tea after WI- 9pm- Meatballs in tomato sauce with pasta tubes and a little grated cheddar on top (part HEXa) (?12 syns for meatballs).

At home- 11pm- Chocolate orange HIFI bar (6 syns).

Total syns approx 24.

Total syns for last 5 days back on track after Spain- 55.5.
 
Week 43- Day 1 (Tues)- Extra Easy- Day off.

Late breakfast 11am- 2 Weetabix (HEXb) with sliced banana, nectarine, strawberries and blueberries. 200ml skimmed milk (4/7 HEXa).

Late lunch 3pm- Chicken & veg curry (see Sun)(1 syn for madras paste) with boiled basmati rice. Vanilla/choc sprinkles/black cherry underlayer Mullerlight (2 syns).

Spent 3 hours in hosp with friend who had suspected clot on lung!! Had 1/2 330ml can of Appletiser (4 syns! Yikes) It was the only cold drink in the machine!! Friend OK!!

Supper- 10pm- Salmon fillet panfried (Frylight) with stirfried veg, soy sauce, teriyaki sauce (1.5 syns) with egg noodles.

Total syns 8.5.

Well done for getting back on track hun....I'm struggling big time :(
Got weigh in tomorrow which I already know is awful but prob the kick butt time I need!
Stress since getting home as our dog is poorly with a blocked anal gland the size of a cox apple.....on his 8th day of anti biotics and more than likely will have to go in to have it drained on friday :eek:
Works very stressful as I still havent found out if my job is safe....prob another 3 weeks or so to wait!
Paul's mum has forgotten where Pauls brother lives ( only round the corners from her ) so she keeps door knocking everyday because she can't remember who or what she's doing now. Were now having to up the amount of time we spend there each week....currently do 3 days sometimes 4 as it is ( so so tiring and upsetting )
God my life sound S*** when I read it back lol but there are far worse off people so I need to kick myself up the butt and get back on with getting myself healthy as really its the only thing I can control......the alcohol needs to go ( after my night out friday though lol )

Aww Claire, things do sound stressful at the moment!! What a worry about your M-I-L!! There's nothing worse than confusion/dementia related illnesses- it's so degrading and undignified for the person and very stressful and hard work for the carers! It's one hell of a responsibility! Is she going to have to go into a home maybe? Sorry to hear about your poor pooch too! I'm sure that will be sorted soon! And your job- how frustrating! Hopefully it will all be OK and safe (*touches wooden computer table*) but have you started putting feelers out for other jobs just incase?

Re getting back on track, attending class is definitely the right thing to do!! As you say, it'll give you a kick up the butt and catapult you back into the SW Zone!! And anyway, it may not be quite as bad as you feared! I know I was only away for 5 nights, well 6 days completely off track, but I STS! I think this is because I then had 4 perfect days before WI to correct some damage! But it worked! I did find the first 2 days back on track very very difficult!! It was a feeling of slipping, like my motivation had FINALLY deceased and I thought "This is it, I'm now going to fail and put on ALL the weight I've lost"!! But I had a word with myself and the next day, I think it was Saturday, I found it much easier and I was completely hooked once again and now I'm more motivated than ever!! I think it's just hard adjusting back after being so relaxed about food on hols! It seems so much easier to have what you want without the headwork that SW sometimes involves!! But now I'm back into the headwork/organisation of it all, I'm loving it again!! And can't wait to see a good result on those scales again and have those feelings of elation and pride once again after 4 weeks of basically staying the same weight!! All will be fine lovely lady! Let me know how tomorrow goes and we'll all support you in undoing whatever has to be undone!!XXXXXXXXXX
 
I'v already sneaked a peak on scales which are the same as tomorrow eve so I know its very bad.....Ever since doing Sureslim last year ( VLCD ) I can't get away with anything but 100% without showing a gain so 4 weeks off plan is a total nightmare for me.......even contemplated doing Sureslim ( lost 5 stone in 5 months but its keeping it off though and how it screws with your body!! hence the struggles for me now :( )
God I sound so doom and gloom....think I just need to get it over with tomorrow and start thurs like the first SW day all over again :rolleyes:
Will let you know how I get on ..... as for jobs I have my eye out but hoping for redeployment with the Police, they will be giving 3 months notice too so gives me a far amount of time to get to grips with real job hunting :)

It doesn't matter how much you gain, although of course it'll be frustrating!! It's all about what you do next, and it won't take weeks and weeks to undo 4 weeks worth of gain!! Quick gains= quick losses! My friend Lara gained 9lb in ONE WEEK recently!! She knew she'd really overindulged but was horrified! But it took 2 weeks to undo it just by sticking normally to plan!! Don't be tempted to go down the VLCD route hun! You know from experience it's not sustainable! Just keep plugging away the SW way and you'll get there! It's just a matter of getting over the holiday season! Most people are the same at this time of year!! I bet you'll have a real surge leading up to Chrimbo and see some really great losses again!! Stay positive through these tough times! Everything always works out in the end!!XXXX

Work snack- 3pm- Packet of salt & vinegar Ryvita Minis (HEXb).

Work break- 5pm- Chicken & veg curry (1 syn for madras curry paste) (see Sun) with boiled basmati rice. A Summerberries Mullerlight.

At home- 9.30pm- Very small amount chicken & veg curry (0.5 syns for madras paste) A creamy cheese Mugshot (2 syns). Fresh pineapple chunks.

Total syns 3.5

Tea in work-5pm- Steamed salmon fillet with teriyaki sauce (1.5 syns) and dill (cooked in Steamfresh bag) with salad- lettuce, beetroot, pickled shallots, tomatoes, red pepper, new potatoes, 1 tbspn XL salad cream (1 syn). Choc orange HIFI bar HEXb). Fresh pineapple chunks.

At home (starving after work!)- 9.30pm- Wholewheat pasta shells with prawns, tomatoes, red pepper, courgette, red chilli, chilli powder mixed with a little quark to make it creamy. A few baby beetroot.

Total syns 12.5.
