I wish I were as patient as you, my goal is 1.8lbs a week - I want to be able to wear my wedding dress (see sig pic) on my 40th birthday next April, so I am currently ahead of my goal. You however, have lost so much already and are so close to your goal, I've got approx 3.5stones to go, when I say that it seems so hard, so i focus on smaller goals like 1/2 stone, 1 stone, 10% etc

I think you have hit the nail on the head - it is about heating healthily and a new attitude towards food, as my Mum's friend says, "I eat food to live, not live to eat food".

Pop in whenever you like hun, it's a pity I haven't got a cyber kettle! I'd make us a cuppa!! I suppose when you've got a big event (your 40th) to aim for, there IS that timescale to work to, so the pressure is increased that much more! I haven't got any particular thing to aim for- When I started in October 2009 I said I wanted to lose it by Christmas 2010. This is acheivable, but it will be a struggle as I get closer, so I've now moved it to my 34th Birthday (March 2011) just to take the pressure off myself. But you can certainly do it! You're average is safe and realistic- and you want to be able to make it a life-long change as well, so it's important not to burn yourself out with it all! Although I stick to the plan, I would probably see faster losses if I cut down my portion sizes a bit, but I've got such a good appetite, I'll end up feeling short changed if I do that!! Week 44- Day 3 (Thurs)- Extra Easy- Working night shift 7.30pm-8am.

In work- 5.30am- A nectarine, some greengages (mmm these were yummy!). Very small piece of friend's choc/orange cake (3 syns).

At home before bed- 9am- 14g red leicester cheese (1/2 HEXa) and some red grapes.

On getting up- 1/2 banana/scanbran/weetabix cake with quark, sweetener and lemon juice topping(HEXb). A corn on the cob.

In work- snack- 3 Laughing Cow XL triangles (1/2 HEXa). A peach.

In work- meal- Spicy pork & veg pasta (see yesterday). A vanilla/choc sprinkles/black cherry underlayer Mullerlight (2 syns).

Total syns 5.

imagine if we could have cyber drinks and cyber goodies - what would you be offering?

Heheee, I would have Pimms on the go (well the fruit in it practically makes it a health drink!) and Pina Coladas (again, fruit=healthy!) But to make up for it I'd be offering Mugshots in my cyber snack bar!!X
 
Week 44- Day 4 (Fri)- Extra Easy- Day off/sleep day.

In work- 5.30am- Spicy sweet n sour Mugshot. A peach and some greengages.

9am- Before swimming- A banana.

9.30-10.50- Swam 1 mile.

At home before going to bed- 1/4 banana/scanbran/weetabix cake with quark, sweetener and lemon juice topping (3.5 syns).

On getting up-6pm- 3-egg omlette with ham and 28g cheddar (HEXa). A Kelloggs Fibre Plus dark choc/almond bar (HEXb).

After pub- 10.30pm- Small piece of dh's cod in breadcrumbs (Tesco) (approx 4 syns). A bowl of mushy peas and a few SW chips. 2 small oranges.

Total syns 7.5.

pimms and mugshots...what a combination, I'd offer white wine spritzer that's gotta be low in syns and tesco value onion rings - at 3.5syns per bag, oh of course i'd throw in some chocolate dipped strawberries, coming over?

Very late breakfast- 11.30am- 3 very low fat sausages (3 syns) with sweet potato chips (frylighted) sprinkled with chilli powder. A peach and an apple. An Oreo cookie (2.5 syns).

3pm- 3 slices of cooked chicken. A Kelloggs Fibre Plus dark choc/almond bar (HEXb). A strawberry Mullerlight.

9.30pm- A bowl of chickpea dahl with 28g melted cheddar (HEXa).

11pm snack- 1/2 tin of sweetcorn.

Total syns 5.5.

Week 44- Day 6 (Sun)- Extra Easy- Working 7.30am-8pm.

Before work- 6.30am- 3 egg omlette with ham and 28g cheddar (HEXa).

Work break 1- Strawberries, blueberries, blackberries and red grapes with vanilla/choc sprinkles Mullerlight.

Work break 2- Wholemeal pitta (HEXb) with tuna, sweetcorn, red onion and XL mayo 1 tbspn (0.5 syns) with salad- mixed leaves and tomato. 2 oranges.

Work break 3- Wholewheat pasta shells with sliced quorn sausage, courgette, red onion, tomato, spinach, red chilli, green pesto (5 syns- 1 1/3 tbspns) and quark. An apple.

A small slice of Domino's vegetarian pizza (grwww why did someone have to order it?!!- approx 10 syns).

Total syns 15.5

Week 44- Day 7 (Bank hol Mon) Blimey, where are these weeks going?!?!?- Extra Easy- Day off.

Missed breakfast!
Lunch- 1pm-2 egg omlette with 28g cheddar (HEXa) and herbs.
A bowl of sliced peach, strawberries, blackberries and blueberries.

Snack before SW-3.30pm (Helping with 2 sessions tonight so need to take stuff with me!) Some seafood sticks, a Weetabix Oatybar (3.5 syns) and a cherry Mullerlight.

After SW- 8.30pm- Wholemeal pitta (HEXb) with tuna, red onion, sweetcorn and 1 tbspn XL mayo (0.5 syns) and mixed salad leaves.

At home after SW- 10.30pm- A large peach.

Total syns 3.5.

Snack- 11.30am- Asda sushi 150g (1.5 syns).

Lunch- 2pm- Jacket potato with baked beans and 56g cheddar (HEXa + 6 syns). Mango Activia fat free yogurt.

Tea-7pm- Small dish of wholewheat pasta shells with Quorn sausage, courgette, spinach, red onion, red chilli, quark and pesto (2 syns)(leftovers from a couple of days ago). With green salad with red onion, beetroot and tomato. Strawberries, blueberries and blackberries with sweetener.

Total syns 9.5.

Week 45- Day 2 (Wed)- Extra Easy- Day off.

Woke up early- full blown cold! Sore throat, sniffing, blowing, coughing, bunged up and groggy! Yuck yuck yuck! 2 days of lying low before my next shift on Friday!

Early breakfast- 6.30am- Thai Mugshot (0.5 syns) and a few blueberries. (Funny breakfast but easy and quick to make and comforting and easy to swallow down!)

10.30- A Weetabix Oatybar (HEXb) and a banana.

Lunch-1.30pm- 2 Quorn peppered steaks with Waitrose tomato & onion couscous (1 syn) and stirfried veg with a little Worcestershire sauce. A nectarine.

Tea- 8pm- Jacket potato with chopped up seafood sticks with reduced fat onion & garlic dip (3 syns). Salad- mixed leaves, beetroot, red onion, tomato. Balsamic vinegar (0.5 syns). Grated cheddar 28g (HEXa). Activia fat free vanilla yogurt.

Total syns 5.

Feeling a bit better today as nasal passages starting to get clearer- say no more!!

Late breakfast- 11am- Sliced banana, peach, raspberries and blueberries with big dollop of Total 0% yog with sweetener.

Lunch- 2.30pm- Co-op wholemeal pitta (HEXb) with tomato puree (0.5 syns), 1 Laughing Cow XL triangle (1/6 HEXa), red onion, cherry tomatoes, sliced mushrooms, herbs, 23g mexicana cheese (5/6 HEXa)(In oven= Pizza!!) A peppered smoked mackerel fillet (74g- 2.5 syns) with small salad (mixed leaves, beetroot, cherry tomatoes, red onion, balsamic vinegar 0.5 syns).

Tea- 6.30pm- Homemade chicken kiev- from October SW mag comfort food supplement (chicken breast filled with quark, crushed garlic, lemon juice, fresh parsley and dried tarragon, brushed with egg, coated in breadcrumbs (2.5 syns)- Frylighted and oven baked). With sweet potato chips (frylighted) and stirfried veg. (YUM YUM YUM, I'll do this recipe again!!!) A strawberry Mullerlight.

Total syns 6.
