WOW so much speedy superfree - do you find it speeds the loss up? I'm really good with the veg but I'm a bit hit and miss with the fruit, always cut down on carbs two days before WI maybe I should add speedie fruit?

Hi Donna! I do eat lots and lots of superfree, fruit and veg, but I don't often have big losses! My average is just over 1lb a week (51lb in 42 weeks!) but I'm actually really happy with this! The past month I've basically stayed the same which is a bit frustrating but there was a holiday to Spain thrown into that so not too bad I suppose!! I have a big appetite and eat a lot of food and unfortunately don't seem to be able to get away with having ANY naughty things! Maybe I do eat too many carbs for really good losses, but in all honesty, I'm enjoying my food so much I'm happy plodding along and I'm in no real rush to lose the last 1 1/2 stone! I'm just glad I've changed my habits (hopefully for good) and feeling so much better for eating healthily! Well done on your amazing success so far! Good luck hun and please don't feel you have to lose too quickly!XXX

Planning to stay on track with upto 30 syns per day if needed...did that before and no gain :)
Hoping for a loss tomorrow, had very heavy alcohol friday ( tried to remember for syns but how the hell do you do that when your p**** lol )
Have been very good the rest of week, sticking to around 8 syns a day which was what my consultant said.

Had a delicious dinner....on the receipe thread is Jamie Oliver Fish Pie, it really was the nicest I've ever had!!
It's made without a sauce but the veg in the bottom, cheese and fish juices makes it so juicy :) Def recommend
xx

Oooh I'm sure you'll be fine!! As you very rightly say in your 'details' column, it's for life so there's no hurry, and these lovely family times away and other social situations are going to crop up from time to time! The trick is to manage them as best you can, make wise choices sticking to plan during 'normal' days/weeks. I personally think that what we're doing now to lose the weight has to set us up for our futures beyond target so we might as well learn now to take the 'off plan' moments on the chin and then manage those extra pounds which is what's going to happen throughout life anyway! (If that makes sense! LOL!).

Phwoar I'm defo going to make that Jamie's fish pie!! Thanks for the recommendation!!X

I wish I were as patient as you, my goal is 1.8lbs a week - I want to be able to wear my wedding dress (see sig pic) on my 40th birthday next April, so I am currently ahead of my goal. You however, have lost so much already and are so close to your goal, I've got approx 3.5stones to go, when I say that it seems so hard, so i focus on smaller goals like 1/2 stone, 1 stone, 10% etc

I think you have hit the nail on the head - it is about heating healthily and a new attitude towards food, as my Mum's friend says, "I eat food to live, not live to eat food".

Good luck, will pop in more often if that ok?

donna x
