hi sweet how you doin?

Hi GBS! How are you doing?! I'm OK thanks, just frustrated with my result at last night's WI (1.5 lb gain) after having a mostly fab week, but with one evening of naughtiness! I'm just getting worried that I can no longer get away with 'naughty' moments!! But it could be because it's *week, and also it probably isn't a bad thing to have a bit of a kick up the bum sometimes to motivate a really really good week! This week I'm totally in the zone and not cheating at all, but I wonder if I'd lost whether I'd be quite so good this week!! Sometimes it can be a double edged sword!! What have you been up to? How's it going for you at the moment?XXX

If you look back in your food diary you will see that you normally have a gain during star week, so don't stress too much about it.
The same thing seems to happen to me during * weeks where I can easily gain 2-3 lbs (even if I haven't been naughty). You know that you can get away with being naughty as you've done it before getting back straight on to plan, even though it may take a bit longer for the weight to come off. Stick to plan and you will see it come off.

Ooh well I will certainly drop in to your new food diary!! Get the kettle on love lol! Wow, well congrats, it sounds like you're back in the zone, even though you have had some obstacles! Sometimes it's about damage limitation and at least you have overall lost a lot of that original 7lb!! You sound determined so I'm sure the rest will come off, and it doesn't matter if it's a bit of a rocky road as long as you get there!! I'm all for the scenic route at times! The motorway can be a bit full on!! This week I stopped at a country pub and stayed the night, but this morning I got back on the slip road and joined the motorway again, and hope to carry on for a few more junctions before making a stop again (Chrimbo lol!!) Well done, I'm proud of you!! Maybe joining a group will indeed help- I can't live without mine but it's all I've ever known since the start so I don't know any different and feel I need it to stay motivated!XXXX

Sorry about your gain honey. It'll be cos * week is due, and you'll banish that and more by next week!:)

Hey Clairey hunny!! Thanks for your kind words! I'm hoping it is down to *week! I wasn't an angel all week but I do feel it wasn't deserved! Don't you hate those weeks where you don't really know where you are with the plan?!! I don't feel my clothes any tighter or anything so I mustn't take it to heart, and hope for a good one next Mon!! Speaking of which, wow what a loss you had!!! You must be chuffed to bits with yourself!! Did you do anything differently this week?XXXX

Week 55- Day 3 (Thurs)- Extra Easy- Working 7.30am-3pm.

Before work- 6.30am- 3 egg omlette with ham and mushrooms.

Work break 1-11am- Fresh pineapple chunks and white grapes. A raspberry & cranberry Mullerlight. Salt & Vinegar Ryvita Minis (HEXb).

3 Minstrels- (2 syns).

Work break 2-3pm- Tagliatelle with smoked salmon & prawns, lemon juice, dill, WW low fat creme fraiche (3 syns). 2 clementines.

In town- went to an all you can eat buffet called Peachy Keens, a canteen style place like China China but with a variety of nationalities! Rather disappointed!! Had stirfried chicken, prawns and veg (?3 syns for a little oil). Small plate of beef stirfry and noodles (?2 syns). A little chicken curry, lamb curry, vegetables and rice (small plate- ?6 syns). This is all estimated as difficult to tot it up so I may be completely out- whatever the case I tried to go for the lowest fat options, had no pudding or bread, and to be on the safe side I will make sure I keep my syns down and stay 100% on track between now and Monday which should be fine as I'm working nights all weekend! Have been very good since Monday so hope I haven't spoilt it for myself!

Total syns ?16 (estimated- may be off the mark!!)

Yeah, it'll be that hon. Sometimes I think it all depends where we are in our * week, as to how much it can affect you. I know once I'm a day in, I'm fine, but incredibly bloated beforehand. Mines due too, and with a weekend at my mum's coming up, I'll be very happy with a maintain.

Yeah, I am pleased this week. I stuck to plan, 90% of the time, and tried to do a first week. I also did 2.5 hours on my Wii Fit and Just Dance, so maybe that helped? I dunno! I'm trying to stick to it the same this week, as obviously the weekend food will be out of my hands. As I say, I'll be happy with a maintain and then the following week, I'll start working towards that new shiny red Christmassy sticker!:)
