Aww thanks hun!! Well all I can say is that I've been at it over a year now (55 weeks!) It hasn't been plain sailing but I don't really mind as it's all added up and I'm really enjoying how it fits in with my life! This is going to sound like such a cliche, but it really is all about the long term and not about how much we can lose in a short space of time! It's taken me time to accept this but it's really true!! You're doing great, keep it up, keep chipping away and you'll be there before you know it!!XXX
 
Week 56- Day 1 (Tues)- Extra Easy- Working 7.30am-3pm.

Brekkie before work- 6.15am- 3 egg omlette with red onion, mushrooms and 28g cheddar (HEXa).

Work break 1- 11am- 2 small clementines and a small pear. A Yeo Valley Organics fat free blueberry yogurt (1 syn).

Work break 2- 2pm- Spicy beef stew (made ages ago and frozen- I know it's free!) 2 small clementines and a small pear.

In Asda cafe- 4.30pm- Met friend for cuppa- A cherry Mullerlight.

Tea- 7pm- 2 turkey steaks with Nandos lemon and herb piri-piri rub with Asda root veg mash (3.5 syns) and salad (mixed leaves, cherry tomatoes, beetroot, spring onions, red pepper, yellow pepper).

9pm- A banana and a Kelloggs Fibre Plus dark choc/almond bar (HEXb).

Total syns 4.5.

Week 56- Day 2 (Wed)- Working 7.30am-8pm.

Work break 1-10.30am- 2 oranges, a small pear, fresh pineapple chunks. A Yeo Valley Organics fat free blueberry yogurt (1 syn).

A small slice of lemon polenta cake (made by my friend- a Nigella recipe!- ?8 syns?!) and a Pink Panther pink wafer (2 syns).

Work break 2-2.30pm- A turkey steak griddled with Nandos lemon & herb piri piri rub with salad (mixed leaves, cherry toms, spring onion, red and yellow pepper, beetroot), jacket potato and 2 tbspns xl salad cream (2 syns).

Work break 3-6.30pm- Sachet of Oats So Simple (most of HEXb) made with water, mixed with Total 0% yogurt, topped with a grated apple, cinnamon and sweetener. An orange.

At home- 9.30pm- A spicy curry Mugshot. 2 Scanbran (part HEXb + 1 syn) with sweet chilli Philadelphia light (1 syn).

Total syns 15.

Week 56- Day 3 (Thurs)- Extra Easy- Day off.

Taking today as a kind of a flexisyn day (but without counting the syns!!!) as out on the razzle with work friends!!

Breakfast-10am- 3 Weetabix (HEXb + 3 syns) with 175ml skimmed milk (1/2 HEXa) and a sliced banana.

Before going out- 2pm- Sweet thai chilli supernoodles, a Yeo Valley toffee yogurt (1.5 syns) and an apple.

Out and about- Sloe gin, 2 Corkys white choc liqueurs, in pubs- a great deal of vodka in lime and sodas. A packet of crisps. A chicken kebab in 'Chick-O-Land' (classy place lol!)

Total syns- the mind boggles!!

Week 56- Day 4 (Fri)- Extra Easy- Day off.

Breakfast in Wetherspoons- 10am- Baked beans on 2 slices of toast no butter (hangover food- HEXb plus 6 syns).

At home- 12 noon- 2 chocolate Shape Delights (11 syns- haven't a clue why I did this!! Hangovers are dangerous!!!)

A bowl of homemade tomato, chilli and basil soup (0.5 syns for tomato puree).

Plan for dinner- Roast chicken with stirfried vegetables and soba noodles (what an apt name for noodles on a hangover day!).

A Marsbar!!!!! Why oh why oh why!! I'm not drinking again!! It puts me in dangerous situations and throws me out of my routine!!!!

We all deserve to let our hair down, it always seem such a good idea at the time but don't we look back and thing why oh why lol

Thing is Claire, I very very very rarely drink and was looking forward to it!! (OK there may have been some peer pressure involved lol) But now I'm thinking 'why did I do it'?!!X
 
Well what can I say?!! What started out to be ONE DAY (Thurs) off plan for my 'little jaunt into town and a few bevvies' spilled over into Friday (hangover day), Saturday (hangover day no. 2 and buffet in village hall) and Sunday (working long day and just still out of 'the zone', picking on chocs and biccies all day long)! I'm ashamed of myself and absolutely dreading weighing tomorrow as I wouldn't be surprised if it's a 3 or 4 lb gain!!! I'm confident I can get back on plan, I'm just annoyed that I've set myself back when I could have been making good progress towards Christmas!! Grrrrwww I'm never drinking again, EVER!!!!!!X
 
Phew- I stayed the same this week! I feel like I've got away with murder to be honest after the past 4 days!! But I must not be complacent as I know only too well that this could creep up on me and bite me on the bum by next week!! Back onto the food diary tomorrow morning I promise!!XX
