Wow thanks Emma! That's really sweet of you!! I sometimes eat weird things like mushy peas for breakfast but on the whole I try and make nice stuff! Always on the look-out for inspiration though, searching through magazines, cookbooks and I find this 'ere place a great resource too! A lot of the time I just throw together things I have in the fridge/cupboards, or grab things that are reduced in the s'markets, for example the monkfish I made into a curry the other day was massively reduced in Tesco, something I wouldn't usually buy because it's so pricey! Please call again lol, lots of love, Heatherxxx

PS check out how much weight you've lost!! You've done so well! Congratulations!XXXX

I'm hooomee!!! Traffic not too bad considering the snowy bits! Lovely time, but lovely to be back as well! It'll be nice to get back into a routine of sorts!! How did the interview go hun?X

Wow thanks Ruth, what a lovely comment!! Surely you must have nodded off at some point!! There's lots to read.....Zzzzzz lol! Well it hasn't always been plain sailing for me! I've had plenty of 'moments'- days/weeks off plan, resulting in gains and STS! I've also had gains and STS when I've been ultra good- I think the trick for me has been to just keep going in the knowlege that one day it'll pay off!! And it is! I'm 12 lb away from target (maybe more after the past couple of weeks) but I'm feeling so much better in myself that I'm not worried about it taking a while to shift the last of it! You'll so lose that 2.5 stone! It's just about being committed to being in it for the long haul!!XXXX

RIGHT, BACK ON PLAN BIG TIME!!!!

Been away for a few days and have had a couple of bad weeks over all what with one thing and another!! I say 'bad', actually they were very fun, but 'bad' in SW terms!! I took a holiday week this week and have until next Monday to really pull things back for next WI (although it's still very unlikely I'll avoid gaining as I got away with a STS last week after indulgence!!) But the main thing is I have got back on track from this morning and am feeling positive and raring to go!

Week 59- Day 1 (Tues)- Green- Annual leave.

Breakfast- 9.30am- 2 slices of toast (2 HEXbs) with a tiny bit of Flora Buttery on each (2 syns) and marmite. A clementine.

Lunch- 1pm- Stopped at Morrisons on way home from Bolton and bought one of their self-service salads. Lettuce, cherry toms, beetroot, grated carrot, 2 hard boiled eggs, couscous salad, noodle salad (allowing 4 syns in case of dressing but mainly dry!)

Coffees with milk (Part HEXa- ?%)

Snack before choir- 7pm-Creamy cheese Mugshot (2 syns). 2 cold roast potatoes (2 syns). An apple.

After choir practice/pub- 11pm- Ainsley Harriot's creamy veg spelt (1/2 pack- 0.5 syns) with stirfried veg- leek, carrot, orange pepper, red pepper, cherry tomatoes with chilli and rosemary.

Total syns 10.5.

Hey Heather,

Thought I would drop by as haven't spoken for a while!

I see you have had a fun few weeks - I have just confessed my syns in my diary too!! I got my 4 stone award and then partied like crazy to celebrate! So as you can imagine I gained last week and now have to get off 2lbs to get it back again!! Oops.

I find this time of year so hard with all the festive temptations and the cold weather. I just want to snuggle up with biscuits and chocolate!! How are you finding it?

Anyway, hoping tomorrow's WI is a better result and am refocusing on getting at least a lb a week off before Xmas!

Well best of luck for the upcoming week - I see you are back on plan and raring to go - hope I can get some of that motivation this week!

Amy xxx

Hi babe, it's tough sometimes isn't it!! I'm finding it hard to stay on plan when I have social things on/when out of my usual routine/sphere of control! Whereas this time last year if I had a social event on I would be mega controlled and say no to things this year I seem to be giving in and telling myself I'll just get back on track! So it's very inconsistent and patchy!! I suppose the difference is that last year I just wanted to see progress whereas this year I've made massive progress, feeling so much better in my skin, enjoying clothes, thinking I look 'OK' and although I really really want to get to target in the near future, I haven't got the same desparation as I had at the beginning! I guess this is a good thing in itself!!

Well done you though on your 4 stone award! I'm sure you'll get that back again really soon with a bit of focus! My strategy is to try and maintain up until Christmas! I don't think it's too much to ask for, and I'll be quite happy to work seriously on shifting the rest in the NY! I need to up my exercise massively too! I've really been slacking on the walking and swimming I was previously doing!

Lovely to hear from you anyway hun! Just remember how far we've both come and give ourselves credit for that!XXXXX

Week 58-Day 2 (Wed)- Green- Annual leave.

What started out as a green day suddenly turned into an EE one!!

Lunch-2pm- Baked sweet potato with 28g sweet chilli Philadelphia (2 syns) and some mushy peas!

Late afternoon snack- 4pm- 1/2 a full fat cold sausage from fridge (OH's!!!) (3 syns). 2 Alpen Lights (6 syns).

Tea- 7pm- Homemade minestrone soup- Onions, garlic, carrot, leek, peas, sliced spring greens, tin of mixed beans, broken up spaghetti, veg stock, parmesan (a little HEXa). Also made some corned beef soup- 'lean' corned beef (7 syns for whole large tin), onion, garlic, leek, potato, swede, carrot, sweet potato, sliced spring greens, peas, OXO beef stock, Worcester sauce, seasoning. (Had some nibbles of corned beef whilst making- 1 syn). 2 oranges.

Total syns 12.

This is totally me!!

This time last year I was super focused on losing weight - this year i'm like oh i'll just have one choc/cake/treat and it won't matter too much!

Well today is day 1 of 100% so i'm hoping the will power from last year will return!

Looks like you have had a good few days too so keep it up!

I am also struggling with the exercise - my main excuse being it's too cold for the gym! I must go this week!

xx

Week 58- Day 3 (Thurs)- Green- Annual leave.

6.30pm- Bowl of home made minestrone soup- see yest (approx 1/2 HEXa for parmesan cheese). An orange, 2 clementines and an apple.

I used the philli sweet chilli and pureed it with some butternut squash and omg what yummy comfort food!
Hope your well and feeling better for being back on track
xx

Yum yum Claire!! I love the combination of the sweetness of BNS or SP and the sweet chilli!! I think making a dip with the philli sweet chilli and perhaps fat free yog or the like and dipping BNS chips in it would be yummy too!!!X
